“We can’t see the forest for the trees;” this is an old saying that has lots of meaning in today’s world. People engaged in the day to day fight cannot see the big picture. People attempting to uncover every new conspiracy theory cannot see the big picture. People who are engrossed with their own problems, cannot see the big picture. The big picture will shock you and literally turn your world upside down. Only a true prophecy from the hand of God can allow you to see the big picture. In my last article “From the Hand of God” we talked about the whole world reaping the consequences of their unrepentant sins. Today, we will back away a bit allowing you to see the big picture of what’s really happening in the world. To do that, we first need a little history lesson to help this big picture come into focus. Once we see and understand the big picture then we will allow God to direct our path going forward. This will be God’s prophetic word to the Church, to His faithful remnant living in the Last Days. May we all have eyes to see.
We are not unaware of the devil’s schemes by putting the radio and TV in every home garnering their trust by giving them programs in the beginning for the whole family with not even a hint of vulgarity. Step by step the devil would introduce a slang word here and an immoral act there. Then he would allow advertisements of drugs to help them overcome their many problems along with methods of psychological counseling in their movies. Eventually, movies would be full of shocking immorality. Then, in time the brave ones would not only accept the new morality but would venture out of their closets and teach others to do the same. In time the devil would introduce more programming to raise up legislative leaders to demand new laws to accept this new morality. Then the devil would push to remove God from both the schoolroom and the public square. To solidify this new movement, the devil would cause everyone to be connected by the internet, their individual cellphones, and Social Media. This would allow his new disciples to find one another quickly and stand against the opposition. The devil would also enlist the News outlets to fan the flames of discontent and motivate his disciples to perform all manner of lawlessness against the other side. This will bring our nation to the brink of civil war.
As the big picture comes into clearer focus, we are keenly aware of a divided nation on the precipice of being destroyed from within. This is not too unlike ancient Rome who actually fell from within. No, I don’t believe the old devil will allow this inner destruction to continue. In a very short time, he will extend an olive branch to those who claim to speak for the Holy One. He will make great promises to the other side allowing them to worship freely and still have a seat at the table. Once the agreement is reached, he will begin to rule with an iron fist demanding that everyone stay connected to receive their daily updates, his teachings, and specific directions from those in power. Severing your connection will not be an option. In time, your connected cellphone, or another more advanced device, will be used for buying and selling. It will be used to conduct business, to vote, and to control all of your other devices. How integrated this new device will be is not yet known. Everyone’s devices in this nation and around the world will be connected via high-speed internet as more satellites are being launched by SpaceX. “Starlink” will soon become a reality providing internet to every square inch of the globe.
Seeing the big picture on how the devil has been working behind the scenes for many years bringing fallen humanity to this point will shock you. It’s common knowledge that the frog doesn’t know that he’s in boiling water until it’s too late because the heat is turned up very slowly. The devil has been doing the same thing with humanity since the 1950s! Therefore, we must ask the question, “what would God have us to do?” I don’t believe we can fight back by using the weapons of this world. We must listen carefully to what the Spirit is saying to the Church. If we don’t listen carefully and get it right, we will end up with the unseen number and worshiping his image even if we don’t admit it. I firmly believe there will come a point when God’s faithful remnant will disconnect themselves and go offline. There are many things we must do before that time comes, which I have delineated below. Let me be very clear that most will not be able to do it even though they find themselves sinking deeper and deeper into the devil’s web of deception. The longer you wait the more difficult it will become, “Just ask the frog.” Dear children, this is not just another conspiracy theory. Please heed this prophetic warning while you still have time.
So, let’s talk briefly about what we need to do before we go offline and disconnect from the world. Let’s start with the easiest things first and then advance to the more difficult aspects of going offline. I would start by deactivating all of your social media accounts and deleting the apps from your cellphone and computer. This will immediately put a large hole in your life giving you a tremendous amount of time. Once you have rediscovered the joy of having more time for prayers, meditation and serving others, then you are ready to move ahead by deleting all of the news apps that keep you checking back again and again throughout the day. Now it’s time to delete all those entertainment apps from both your cellphone and Smart TV. Yes, this also includes your YouTube app, the biggest contributor to conspiracy theories and false prophecies. If you have gotten this far you are doing great! Immediately you have noticed how much time you have redeemed. The Bible says, “Redeeming the time because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:16). Clearly, the devil is a consumer of our time.
At this point, it’s essential to do some additional things before moving forward with disconnecting from the world. We must have face to face real relationships with other brothers and sisters who share your quest for disconnect with the world and reconnect with God through the indwelling Spirit. They will also share your desire to walk in all holiness growing from one degree of glory to another (See I Peter 1:16, and II Corinthians 3:18). They will share your desire to help others that you can reach out and touch. They will share your desire to worship our Lord daily through confession, praise, adoration, prayers, and singing hymns. It’s very important that we don’t skip this step before proceeding. God has not called us to stand alone in our struggle against the enemy. This is why Christ established the Church. I know this will be difficult for some who have relied heavily upon Social Media for relationships. Now it’s essential to find a face to face relationships, which is more difficult because you can’t just delete them if you don’t like what they say. We will be forced to bear with them by helping them to overcome their trespass. The Bible says, “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2).
If you are sincerely working on the previous step, then you are ready for total disconnect with the world. When the requirement finally comes that everyone, without fail, must have a cellphone (or another device) that’s connected to your bank, credit cards, health services, political affiliation, voter registration, and news updates from the current administration, we must be ready. These requirements along with other highly suggested sites must be on every personal device. They will know the moment we go offline. We must not comply. We must disconnect. Paying will be most difficult, if not impossible if we don’t have our personal device. It’s essential that we begin to think about how we will provide for our families. It’s essential that we plan now and not wait to be turned away at the grocery store or the gas pump because we are attempting to pay with cash that’s no longer accepted. The Bible says, “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Revelation 13:17). Just remember that every person has their own unique number once they connect to the internet. Furthermore, if we sit staring at an image on our device for any length of time, allowing it to consume our time, it could be considered worship. Prepare now to stand firm and be prepared to immediately disconnect from the world … and reconnect with God alone.
