My greatest desire is to think God’s thoughts after Him. Our minds are so cluttered with the thoughts of the world, receiving new information at the speed of light, it’s most difficult to even hear only God’s thoughts. So, the process must begin with emptying our minds of meaningless thoughts that are casting us in one direction, then another. We must stop the endless flow of information coming in from the world. These thoughts come from many different sources. They come from Television to 24-hour cable news, and from social media to everyone expressing their own opinion. This information comes from books of so-called higher learning to endless searches on the internet, and from the latest popular videos to artificial intelligence, all who claim to have the answers to man’s dilemma. We are living in a sea of information filling our minds with scientific and expert information that’s constantly changing. We can’t all become monks and withdraw completely from the world, but we can be more selective to the point of cutting back ninety percent of the information flow. Although this would empty our minds of volumes of meaningless, contradictory, and changing information, it would not completely solve the problem. Vain imaginations would quickly take root prodded by the powers of darkness. Continue reading Thinking God’s Thoughts After Him

Conquering the Evil From Within
As we approach closer to the end, almost everyone is looking at the evil around them. Very few, unfortunately, look at the evil within themselves. There is no better time than the present to examine the evil lurking in each of us. Remember, that each of us will be judged by a most Holy and righteous God. I must say in the beginning this will not be a popular topic, for looking within can be the most humbling and humiliating experience of our lives. However, it is much better to do it now, rather than being totally exposed and humiliated at the throne of the Almighty. Now, you will have an opportunity to change. When the last trumpet is sounded or if you experience an untimely death, then it will be too late. So, if you are willing to take this journey from within let us proceed. The Holy Spirit will be our guide. He will take you to places that you could never have imagined. Hopefully, it will cause you to have many hours of self-reflection. My hope and prayers are that all who claim to be Christians will take this journey allowing the indwelling Spirit to bring deep conviction to their souls. Let’s begin. Sins Will Cloud Your Eyesight
We can all disagree on eschatology and the timing of Christ’s Second Coming, but we cannot disagree on our need for repentance. My concern as a pastor for many years is that most don’t have a full understanding of what they need to repent of and more importantly how to properly repent. Most people qualify their need for repentance by what they see in others. If they see others on the news or social media with what they perceive as a much greater sin, then it often leads them to overlook the sin in their own lives. It’s very easy for the self-righteous to look down on others while ignoring their own so-called little sins. Therefore, our goal is to stop judging others, so that we have ample time to examine our own sins. Yes, it will take a great deal of time and effort to look within to examine our own character, our own thinking, and our own behavior. If we are honest, then we will soon discover that we all need repentance, including ourselves. Let’s look at the process together on how to look within to discover every unknown sin that has clouded our eyesight, then we will discuss the process of true repentance. Being Told What to Think About
The powers of darkness have much more power and authority over our thinking than most people are willing to admit. I have been writing sermons to preach, blog articles, news briefs, and books for many years now as I am led by the Holy Spirit, but one thing I have noticed is that some things have a much greater appeal than others. I wonder if it’s just how the wind is blowing or if there is a much greater force at work leading people to either accept or reject what is being said. I have noticed also that the world can lose interest in a topic or story very quickly even if it’s of great importance. They say that humanity’s retention span is about two weeks. The news outlets and social media platforms are keen on that idea and are quick to develop new interests to pull humanity along giving them new things to pique their interest, giving them new thoughts to control them, to consume their time. As a pastor for many years, I have discovered that many who claim to know and follow the Lord are not much different than the world by always wanting something new to pique their interest. Moreover, I have found that they are always desiring new undiscovered truth instead of understanding the depth of God’s plan for humanity. Continue reading Being Told What to Think About
A Critical Time for Getting Direction from God (Video)
If God is really your friend, then you want to listen to Him. We need to hear what God really says, and not what we think He says. I can’t overemphasize how important it is to speak with one unified voice from God, who is One. This is a very critical time, not only for our country but for the entire world that needs explicit direction from God. After watching this video on my secure website, produced specially to help God’s children to stand firm, please share it with others.
