With Jade Helm in the South and now in other parts of the United States one can’t help wondering if that will affect the Christian and his conservative beliefs in Biblical morality. My Bible teaches me to reject homosexuality, abortion, psychiatric drug addiction, and many other sins accepted by our society and the current administration. With ISIS making threats to attack targets in the United States one can’t help wondering if Christians will be selected as soft targets. In such cases we may not get an opportunity to flee or fight back. With the coming New World Order Christians can’t help wondering if they will be persecuted for their faith and trust in God alone. Persecution in one manner or another is coming to those who claim to be Christian. So the question must be asked, where and when do we flee persecution? Before we answer that question it must be made very clear that under no circumstances does a Christian ever deny his or her faith if captured by the evil doer. In such cases the Christian may well suffer intense persecution that could lead to a ghastly death. Throughout Christian History up to the present day Christians have stood firmly in the face of their persecutors making the good confession and committing their life to Jesus. I have always taken comfort in the words of Jesus who said, “But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak” (Matthew 10:19), which shows me that Christ is right there with me going through the same sufferings. My heart is grieved over how many people are hurting. I know that God’s heart must also be breaking when he hears the cries of His children. Although at first glance, one can easily blame many things for their struggles and anguish, such as a weak economy, lack of work, or circumstances beyond their control. However, once we take a closer look we soon discover that many of the problems they face are caused by other things not easily recognized or admitted. Before we unearth these causes, it’s necessary to realize that as God’s children His chief concern is the end result. That is, His chief desire beyond anything you experience in this life is to make you into a new creation where the barnacles of the old sin nature fall off and that one day you would stand before Him in heaven as a righteous person in Christ.
It won’t be long now before we have our next Caesar. If we end up with Obama many of his policies are already set into motion, such as his new healthcare plan, canceling the pipeline, investing in renewable energy, and enacting some disturbing executive orders. He will no doubt continue his push toward a more tolerant world, where Christians could be arrested for sharing their faith with people of other religions. And we still don’t know how he will distribute the wealth, unless he takes from rich through excessive taxation or another executive order (a similar fate of the Jews during Hitler’s reign). Why did I bother to read this book? In the beginning I was intrigued with the notion that the Muslim Eschatology and its timeline were very similar to that presented in the Christian Bible. The major difference however was the true nature of the Antichrist and the False Prophet. Mr. Joel Richardson goes to great pain to convince the reader that the Biblical Antichrist is the same as their expected spiritual leader, the Mahdi. This leader is expected to come in the last days to unite all the Muslim nations, become a world power, make a 3 ½ year peace treaty with Israel, allow them to rebuild their Temple, and persecute or kill everyone who refuses to convert to Islam. Essentially, the West and specifically America is no longer a world power (with no reason given) which allows the united Muslim nations under the Leadership of their Mahdi to easily dominate the world.
