Pushing the Prophetic Timeline

I have written extensively about the Kings of the East coming against the West, Israel, and the United States in the last Great War or Armageddon. Most know the prophecy that the Antichrist will unite the West and Israel to stand against the Kings of the East in this final war (Revelation 16:13-16). Please see below, “An Open Letter to President Putin and President Zelenskyy,” I sincerely hoped through the giving up of some land for Russia’s land bridge, and the opportunity of NATO membership for Ukraine, then peace could be realized. However, I now see that both parties are not interested in peace, which will unfortunately push the prophetic timeline forward. The prophetic timeline is beginning to unfold when we see Russia trying to enlist other Eastern powers (or Kings) to support their undeclared war against Ukraine and the West. Mr. Putin has spoken to many foreign leaders along with those in his Bloc to win support for the undeclared war. The prophetic timeline is beginning to unfold when the West is wholeheartedly joining in the undeclared war against Russia by supplying advanced weapons, technology, and many crippling sanctions. The prophetic timeline is being aggressively pushed forward to fulfill the prophecy. Continue reading Pushing the Prophetic Timeline

Hope in Our Darkest Hour

What an amazingly beautiful three years it had been as the divine Son of God walked with His disciples and followers. They had all been filled with hope beyond their wildest imagination. They received more than just a glimpse of the new life in Christ as they observed Jesus overcoming the many obstacles from both the religious community and the power structures of decadent Rome.  From the many healings to the casting out of demons, and the many other miracles it brought forth an amazing hope for humanity in their darkest hour. But now things were different as they huddled together in the upper room to escape the prying eyes of the cruelest power on earth. Whatever happened to the hope that would deliver them from their cesspool of misery, long before they would classify this as depression and anxiety? All of Christ’s most ardent followers shared the same memories of a new hope for humanity who embraced the power of love and forgiveness. Somehow the light from within was still shining brightly even in the dark confines of their new sanctuary. Continue reading Hope in Our Darkest Hour

Listen to the Prophets

Some say there are no prophets today, while others say the gift of prophecy no longer exists. To listen to the prophets in any age will take a great deal of discernment. There have been false prophets from the beginning proclaiming things out of their own vain imagination. God and his elect prophets have always been very critical of these false prophets prophesying either what the people want to hear or their own made-up prophecies that always confuse the people. Any serious student of the Bible who is filled with the Holy Spirit knows full well that the gift of prophecy will not cease until the perfect One, Jesus Christ, comes to usher in His eternal Kingdom. I have taught for many years that there is no new prophecy other than what’s already in the Bible but that does not negate the fact that the Spirit can also give us a deeper insight into the written prophecy that already exists and direct us to apply it properly to the age in which we are living. We have a responsibility to adhere to the true prophets for every age from the First Century until now. As. God’s beloved children, we must listen to the prophets with great discernment. Desperate People

Desperate People Need ChristAs we fast approach the end of days we have seen a rise in desperate people across the globe, many of them doing the unthinkable. This desperation is caused in large part by rising food cost or food shortages. It’s also caused by a lack of employment or underemployment robbing a family of the needed resources to feed, clothe, and shelter their families. Most will agree that there are levels of desperation where some on a lower level are led to lie, manipulate, bear false witness, and intimidate others to get their needed resources.  As the desperation level increases others are led into a life of dishonesty, shoplifting, and even armed robbery to provide for their needs and the needs of their family. While working a night shift at a hotel during my Seminary days I have vivid memories of being robbed at gun point by a very desperate young man. Upon questioning his motive and seeking to change the outcome I was informed that his family was starving and he felt that he had no other options. Although I was unsuccessful in changing his mind, to this day I believe God gave me the courage to witness His love to a hurting and confused person in the midst of a very dangerous situation.
