God’s Will is Beyond Logic

Logic has become a popular term in our day that goes by many different names. It has become the culmination of acquired knowledge, wisdom, and the result of many hours of research. It has also been referred to as a sixth sense, the receiving of a gut feeling, or the expression, “it makes sense.” Logic contrary to what we call it allows humanity to make their many choices in life, which is always a gamble that can cause tremendous suffering when wrong choices are made. Although we make hundreds of decisions every day, there are a few that could have profound consequences if the wrong decision is made. Unfortunately, those consequences are not always immediately observable as we see through a glass darkly, limited by time and space (I Corinthians 13:12). Most will do all their homework, run the numbers, and have even done their research, but for fallen humanity, it’s always a gamble. Granted, some of fallen humanity doesn’t even bother doing any kind of research but allows their felt needs to direct their choices in life, even if they know it’s wrong or costly. When humanity removes God from their decision-making or just pays Him lip service, then the consequences can be devastating. So, it’s essential to understand God’s will even if it’s beyond logic.

Unfortunately, we live in a world that has completely removed God from their decision-making by following the spirit of Antichrist. The spirit of Antichrist tells them that they have the power within themselves to make the correct decisions. They are told that all the information is at their fingertips. The spirit of Antichrist says we can have the proper discernment by weighing all the facts. Many of the facts examined are outrageous lies, half-truths, and propaganda or conspiracy theories circulating on the internet. Therefore, discernment becomes a self-imposed logic. This type of thinking has created think tanks of learned men and women that will also examine the history, often changed, the psychological profiles of nations or cultures, and world economics to determine the best course of action for the world to take in its decision-making. Again, God is completely removed from the equation, or He is simply paid lip service by allowing Him to validate their decisions. The will of God is no longer required or sought by most of humanity. Although some Christians may sincerely say that they want to follow God’s will, they are at a complete loss on how to understand it and without understanding His will, then it cannot be effectively followed.

Logic and all that it entails will not allow us to understand God’s will. If you have all the facts that can be observed, you still will not understand God’s will. Without understanding God’s will completely then it is impossible to make the right choice. To understand God’s will, we must look beyond logic by stepping out in faith. If we sincerely pray seeking God’s will, then He will impress His will upon our hearts through His still small voice. The good news is God’s will for our lives will not violate the Holy Scriptures, which is our standard for all of time. God’s will may seem illogical because we cannot see all the facts. Simply put, we cannot see the future, which could adversely affect our decisions. God can see the future because He is already there. Jesus Christ said I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning, and the end. In my personal journey, I have followed God’s will even when it did not appear to be the logical choice. I followed God’s will even if my research told me otherwise. I followed God’s will even if it was against my heartfelt desire. I trusted in God’s loving providence to work out everything to the best for His chosen children. I trusted God because He has shown me multiple times that His will was the best choice even if it was against our human logic.

So, God’s will is truly beyond logic. If we can no longer trust our instincts or our time-honored research, then how can we determine God’s will? We must learn how to listen to the Spirit who will always put us on the right path. Although we may not immediately arrive at the proper choice, we are now on a path keeping in step with the Spirit until the proper choice becomes evident. This is very important to allow God through the Spirit to lead us to the right decision. This is the hardest part for humanity who pridefully wants an immediate decision without waiting. Even many believers have no desire to follow the Spirit one step at a time waiting patiently for God to reveal His will. Most want immediate gratification even if it leads to the wrong decision. On the other hand, if we keep in step with the Spirit, then we soon realize that God opens new doors giving us a completely different perspective. We begin to see things that we never saw before. Also, when we keep in step with the Spirit, He brings to our memory certain Scripture texts that will shine a bright light into our souls, either to validate or nullify our decisions. Every step of the way God will reveal His will in His time and not ours (Isiah 55:8-9).

The Bible says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2). This takes time. It’s a process. One step at a time we move closer to God allowing Him to transform us by renewing our minds. We are no longer locked into time and space, but we understand that there is a much bigger picture that encompasses all of time. We begin to see everything from a new perspective. Decisions are no longer based on only what we see but on God’s will who knows the future. So, if we can’t see the future, which we can’t, then it always takes faith, believing God knows best even if it seems illogical at the time. In my journey, I have stepped out in faith many times even when the decision seemed illogical, and have been greatly blessed with what I have termed as God’s little miracles. It would be easy to fill up an entire book of these little miracles, but one will suffice. Early on in my ministry when finances were tight, we were faced with a decision about purchasing an expensive new tire (that was not quite the right size, because of its unavailability) or trusting God to make the trip with our old tire. Well, we prayed and trusted God to make the long trip with the old tire, and halfway to our destination the tire blew out, but to our amazement a service station was spotted in the middle of nowhere that had the correct size tire at a much cheaper price. All glory to God for His perfect will.

Dear children, if we trust in God’s loving providence to always lead us to make the right choice, even if it seems illogical at the time, then all of our anxieties will be exchanged for peace that defies understanding. Think of the times in your life when you said, “if I had only known, then my decision would have been different.” God knows, so this should motivate us to always follow His will. Now, let’s take this to a higher level that deals with the entire world and not just our personal choices. Prophecy sheds light on the choices of an entire world. New Testament prophecy is meant to give God’s children direction in every age from the first century until now. The prophecy is not static for only one time in the future, (often misunderstood by the lukewarm church), but is dynamic for the entire end times. So, what does the Revelation prophecy tell us? In every age, there has been the spirit of Antichrist leading God’s children astray to trust in their own logic while the prophecy warns the world that the consequences of their sins are increasing exponentially through world wars, natural disasters, and global pandemics. The spirit of Antichrist has blinded humanity into believing that they have the power to defeat the enemy in their proxy wars, to stop the pandemics by engineering our DNA, and to stop global warming with their latest decisions. Yet, humanity misses the only solution, which is following the will of God through global repentance. For the world, this seems illogical, so they will reject the will of God and suffer the consequences of world war and complete devastation.  Dear children, God’s will is beyond logic. The world must repent now by following God’s will exclusively or face Armageddon.

Let us pray: “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

The Great Day of God Almighty

This is the great battle. This is Armageddon. This is the day that everyone will be exposed for who and what they really are. We see this final battle in two places in the Book of Revelation (Revelation 16:12-16; and 19:11-21) with a brief interlude in between describing the great prostitute, the beast, and the fall of Babylon. We also notice the great rejoicing in heaven because the battle will be won, and everyone will be exposed (Revelation 19:1-10), what a glorious day that will be. If we look at the first description of the battle, we see all the enemies of God seeking to destroy everything of Christ (Revelation 16:12-16), commonly referred to as Armageddon. The beast, the false prophets, and other world religions, namely Islam, will make their final push to eradicate the teachings of Christ by integrating them with false doctrine. When we look at the second description of the great battle, we observe the Word of God exposing the enemies of Christ and destroying them on the field of battle (Revelation 19:11-21). The penetrating eyes of Jesus Christ will expose the sins of the world. God’s Word spoken through His faithful remnant and the angels of heaven will be victorious over His enemies. Hallelujah! Revelation Revealed in an Epiphany

I have studied the book of Revelation and taught its truths for 45 years. I have also written and published three books on its timeless truths. Today I will be presenting an amazing overview of the revelation that I received from the hand of God in what I have called an epiphany. I am not certain if I was caught up, had a theophany, or had an epiphany, but I am certain that it was different from anything that I have ever experienced before. For many years I have heard the still small voice of God through the indwelling Spirit, but this last experience was totally different. Typically, the indwelling Spirit will give us the correct words to say or write at a given moment in time. The Holy Spirit can also help us see the depth of Biblical doctrine and have a clearer understanding of Biblical prophecy. We can build our doctrine over time, developing a larger picture of God’s past, present, and future dealings with humanity. However, we don’t often get the big picture all at once, including all of time, which is understandable because we live in the here and now. We live in the present. On the other hand, Christ said that He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning, and the end (Revelation 22:13). He is not locked into time but sees it all, the past, present, and future all at the same time. Continue reading Revelation Revealed in an Epiphany

The Final Prophecy

When the prophets stop prophesying it will be a dark day indeed. Although many will continue to prophesy from their own imaginations, it will not bring light to a dark world, it will only bring greater confusion. I have written about the coming Antichrist, the wiles of the devil, and the evolving Metaverse but nothing can really prepare humanity for the horrific days ahead. The prophecies in the book of Revelation have warned humanity for over two thousand years and it has only created greater confusion with one saying one thing and another saying something different. Yet, with spiritual eyesight, the book of Revelation is understood as a prophetic history methodically unfolding since the first century. The woes have unfolded, and all the trumpets have sounded from the beginning announcing the progression of each plague and woe poured out on unrepentant humanity. We have seen Antichrists arise in each age, some leading whole civilizations astray. We have witnessed the greatest wile of the devil, which has brought most of humanity into a lifetime of bondage to counseling and psychotropic drug addiction. This wile of the devil is also the first woe in the book of Revelation (Revelation 8:13-9:11), which I have explained in detail in my latest book, “God’s Loving Pursuit”. Satan’s Surreptitious Drive to Globalization

Someone who has grown up in the West, and specifically in America, with certain inalienable rights along with the freedom to prosper financially with hard work and determination, is likely to find this article difficult to read. Any person who has fond memories of public education that always started with the pledge of allegiance to one nation under God and a prayer to the Christian God recognized by all, will find it difficult.  A person who grew up in quieter times with front porches, friendly neighbors, and big Sunday meals with the whole family around the same table is discovering that those days are now far behind us. Although we had our occasional hooligan, bomb shelters, and the civil rights movement, generally it was the best of times when the rest of the world seemed distant. Except for a few diplomats and some far-flung missionaries, most only saw foreign countries as a nice place to visit. Well, in the past sixty years everything has changed, not all at once, but one step at a time where most didn’t recognize it. Some, now, are beginning to wake up and wonder how did we get here? Have we entered a different reality that is literally pulling itself apart or is this Satan’s surreptitious drive to globalization? Continue reading Satan’s Surreptitious Drive to Globalization
