Christian Persecution is Much Closer Than You Think

As we quietly meander along life’s journey choosing our battles, aligning ourselves with one political party or the other, we feel as though we are really making a difference. We may feel as though we are on the right side of history. On the other hand, everyone is making their own political or religious statement casting a larger shadow of confusion over a beleaguered world. Everyone has his own opinion. In the midst of this confusion, the only thing we know for certain is that God’s true children will be persecuted. The Bible says, “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you; and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake” (Matthew 24:9). So, what is happening now that causes this tremendous hate toward the Christian community? What are the early signs of Christian persecution? Should we prepare now? Christian persecution is much closer than you think. Continue reading Christian Persecution is Much Closer Than You Think

Shelter in Place an Enigma in Disguise

With all the evil things in the world today, we hear a lot about “shelter in place.” Every time there’s a mass shooting or a disaster we usually hear this refrain and we all know what to do. Don’t move from the area, take cover, and remain silent. We are not meant to fight back, but hide. For many, if not most, it’s the loneliest time in their life. You are left completely alone with your fears, your anxiety and the unknown. The dark daunting unknown. Almost anything these days could cause us to shelter in place, from mass shootings to natural disasters; and, from martial law to a nuclear attack as we hear it over the loud speakers or on emergency radios. Yet, this is an enigma in disguise, because where is the real shelter? You are hiding, hunkered down, behind an unlocked door or in your home, but where is the real shelter? Where is the solace, or the comfort that everything is ok? For those in the world there is no real shelter. Shelter in place is an enigma, but for the believers it should be different. Let me show you how. Continue reading Shelter in Place an Enigma in Disguise

Divide and Conquer is the Devil’s Motto

There’s coming a time when the entire world will be united behind the devil’s representative here on earth, the Beast. Before that can happen every religious and philosophical thought must be brought to naught in the eyes of the world. They must all appear divisive, counterproductive, and worthless in man’s quest for perfection in a new age of enlightenment. All world religions and spiritual quest of a higher power must be soundly defeated in order to bring the entire world to the altar of the Beast. When one looks intently upon the world stage it becomes obvious that the old Devil is dividing the world religions by ruthlessly pitting one against another raising up one crusade and then another. Over the Centuries, Millions have died in the name of religion while the world grows ever more noxious and repugnant toward anything called god. Furthermore, it has turned many away from hearing the Gospel when they see the devilish division amongst those who claim to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. “What infinite mischief have needless divisions occasioned in the Christian world! Divide et impera (divide and conquer) is the Devil’s motto” (George Whitfield’s Journals). Continue reading Divide and Conquer is the Devil’s Motto

The Great Deception – Part I

Thinking GloballyThis will be a series of articles to help Christians to think globally. To do so will immediately recognize that there are powerful forces at work reshaping our world into a secular utopia galvanizing all nations to accept its destiny. The world population is spoon fed bits and pieces of world events by a media that keeps them blind to a larger truth. Although facts are reported, some correctly, the big picture is never realized even by their best commentators. Prophets, seers, and religious academia have also offered their interpretation of world events either drawn in part, often times out of context, from their holy books or simply from their own imagination. The civilization is deeply confused clutching to an emotional rollercoaster as its being jolted about by every crisis or dilemma facing the world. To think globally we must start by looking up and stop being captivated by each individual event. Clearly the media reports many stories but loses its focus quickly when a larger story comes along. We must move away from the tunnel vision practiced by the media and start to associate ourselves with all of history, with events in every country, with the ebb and flow of humanity and then put that all into context with God’s Word. We must learn how to think globally. Continue reading The Great Deception – Part I
