The Lukewarm Church is Blinded by The World (Video)

When did we stop trusting God? When did we stop trusting Him to really make us into a new creation and then to grow us from one degree of glory to another (See II Corinthians 5:17; 3:18)? Perhaps it all started when the world turned its back on God and then discovered very quickly that humanity was in trouble. Why were they in trouble? There was no longer a moral anchor and humanity began to drift into a greater sea of immorality. Many tried desperately … After watching the video on my secure website, please share with others.

Subject: “Teach Us How to Forgive”

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, why are our hearts torn so asunder by what we see in the world? We live in a world that is obsessed with remembering the past of others, unwilling to forgive them for past wrongs. We see this in every area of society from politics to news reporting, and to relationships in the home. Our hearts are breaking! Please, Lord, bring great conviction upon everyone and especially your beloved children to understand and practice the rules of forgiveness. We know when we do that there is great power in forgiveness to forget the trespass and be in a position to receive your forgiveness. We pray that you lead them to not to bring it up to the offending person, once forgiven, not to bring it up with anyone else, and most importantly not to dwell on the trespass, which Satan will use to keep the trespass alive and well. We have experienced the great freedom of no longer being burdened by the trespasses of others, which had weighed heavily, and the great joy of your forgiveness for our trespasses. We humbly pray this in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors” (Matthew 6:12).

PRAYERS FOR THE LAST WEEK,  IN CASE YOU MISSED ONE

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/16/2024

Subject: “Guard Us From Blind Guides”

Good morning Heavenly Father. After nearly seven years of making my personal prayers public, I have felt the weight of making sure that the prayer actually comes from you. And that’s only possible if I am truly in the Spirit, which can take three to four hours of meditation (or longer) in my prayer closet allowing you to direct my thoughts. Although I sincerely want these prayers made public to help others, the greatest benefit is to me and my own Spiritual walk. I cannot even imagine going one full day without prayer and meditation. We pray that we don’t follow the blind guides of the lukewarm church that teaches their people to speak softly, not lose their temper, and refrain from cursing, but ignore the weightier part of your law. A beautiful law that teaches us how to forgive others from the heart, to always speak the truth, and how to turn the other cheek when offended. We pray that we will never become blind guides but rather to lead others in obeying the whole truth so that they can experience the bountiful life in Christ. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“You blind guides! You filter out a gnat, yet swallow a camel! (Matthew 23:24, ISV)

Subject: “We Long to Hear Only Your Voice”

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for teaching us that organized religion can be very dangerous if it leads your beloved children to believe that their traditions, rites, and ceremonies bring them closer to you in the Spirit. Although most of them, in the beginning, were created by religious men to teach your children the truth, they have now become empty religious rituals void of the Spirit and baring their entrance to the throne of grace. Most can no longer hear your voice! Oh Lord, we pray that your beloved children will approach you with hands that have not practiced unrighteousness and a pure heart that’s not filled with all their preconceived ideas of what they believe is the truth. So many are so steeped in their false theology of eschatology that it has blinded them of the truth. Teach us all to come to you empty-handed admitting that we are sinners in the need of your grace. Let us come as little children unencumbered with all the world’s so-called wisdom and knowledge, for we long to hear your voice, the voice of God. We humbly pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully” (Psalms 24:3-4; see Luke 18:9-14).

Subject: “We Are Competent to Counsel”

Good morning Heavenly Father. When we witness so many little miracles and answered prayers it really puts us on the proverbial cloud nine, it puts joy in our step, and gloriously strengthens our faith. There are blessings upon blessings! We pray that we will remember these great times in the Lord to carry us through the dark times when so many around us are brought so low because of what’s going on in the world. There is so much fear in the world right now because of the previous pandemic and the possibility of WW III. We pray that we will meet them where they are in their distress with compassion and understanding. Lead us to come down from our mountain top spending all the time necessary to truly understand what they are going through and the fears they are facing. Above all help us to give good godly counsel to help them to overcome their fears and find solace in you, our magnificent Lord. We know if Christians can’t help their neighbors overcome their fears there is going to be very dark days ahead with pandemonium and riots in the streets. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“As far as I am concerned about you, my brothers, I am convinced that you especially are abounding in the highest goodness, richly supplied with perfect knowledge and competent to counsel one another” (Romans 15:14, Williams).

Subject: “Thank You For Your Warning”

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for your eternal wisdom given to your disciples and passed on to us through the Holy Scriptures. Through our many years of sharing the gospel in different countries and from house to house, we have learned that not everyone is open to hearing the truth. In fact, through careful observation of their body language, we have decided to stop sharing the gospel with those who displayed violent opposition coupled with an argumentative attitude. Although we feel compelled to share the gospel with everyone, we have discovered that not everyone is prepared to hear the truth about the miracle of our new life in Christ. What makes this extremely dangerous in our day is when the lesser mature believer attempts to share the truth to unseen (faceless) people on social media and then have them either viciously attacked or confused by fine sounding arguments from the dogs and swine of our day. How tragic that your wisdom has been so ignored. We pray that we all would take heed to your wise words spoken to us through the Holy Scripture. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you” (Matthew 7:6).

Subject: “We Cast Our burden upon the Lord”

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for the gift of righteousness given to us through our faith in the Son of God. Thank you for the tremendous desire to become like your beloved Son in all righteousness and holiness, truly a gift from heaven. Oh, how we enjoy the gift of our quiet solitude before you as you grow us from one degree of glory to another. We cry out to you, as we cast all of our worldly desires before you, now realized as a burden, a heavy burden caused by a wicked and hypocritical world. From the news media to the social media, we hear daily the perverted opinions from those who claim to be godly. From soft spoken rhetoric to their smooth words many are being led astray by fine sounding arguments, as they happily twist the Scriptures. We thank you Lord that your beloved children will be sustained by your mighty hand. We thank you Lord that we will not be moved to the right or to the left but will be stayed on the narrow path. We have cast our burden upon you. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved” (Psalms 55:22).

 Subject: “We Are Not Dismayed”

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord God, as we come before you, we can feel the fear that has gripped the world causing many to panic and become dismayed. Their minds and hearts are filled with the horrific path ahead consumed with how to protect themselves and their families from what lies ahead. We sense that their fear of things to come have changed their habits and schedules leading them to spend countless hours following every breaking news report, which is driving them further away from your righteous presence and total dependence upon you to bring them through the worst of times. We pray for all your beloved children would see and understand that you have promised to be with them, to strengthen them, to help them, and to uphold them with your righteous right hand. We pray that they will draw ever closer to you by casting their every thought upon your magnificent love and grace available to them through the indwelling Spirit. Let them spend every moment of every day rejoicing in your ability to bring us through all that’s being poured out upon an evil world. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10, ESV).

Subject: “Your Words are Our Best Defense”

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, we have heard a lot of testimonies as of late with both Congress and the American people seeking to find fault with what was being said. Although sides were easily chosen, I am afraid it will be a bit more lopsided when we give our testimony for the cause of Christ. Although we may not have the privilege of standing before Congress, we will take our stand against those who accuse us of lying, spreading unsanctioned theology, false religion, or simply misinterpreting Holy Scripture. We pray that we, your beloved children, will not rush ahead on our own small intellect, but wait upon You to speak through us. As our wonderful Creator, you know how most will fret or be highly anxious about what they’re going to say in their defense. Thank you, Lord, for teaching us not to give it any thought until the last hour when you will begin to put your Words within our heart on how to make our defense. How marvelous it is to witness the power of your Words, which no man can withstand. We pray this in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you” (Matthew 10:19-20).
