Progression of Biblical Prophecy a Tribute to Earth Day

At what rate is Biblical Prophecy being fulfilled is the biggest question occupying the mind of religious man. From the first century until now every generation believed theirs was the last, and rightly so, because it was written in such a way that every successive generation would prepare for Christ’s return. To deal with the world-wide plagues and catastrophic disaster’s in the book of Revelation most have either put them during a seven-year period of the Great Tribulation (either before or after the rapture) or have simply spiritualized the events. To choose the latter would dismiss the wrath of God, and to choose the former would not allow for the natural unfolding of events, but see them all unfolding at an alarming rate, sending the world’s population into panic and extreme shock. On the other hand, what if we interpreted it beyond the confines of a seven-year period where all the Biblical prophecies are being naturally unfolded over a longer period of time that stretches from the first century until all is fulfilled. Prophets Mantle

“Thus saith the Lord.” Do you really want to hear what God has to say? It’s irrevocable. It’s like fire torching the soul. There is no negotiation. No interpretation needed. No personal opinion, just the pure powerful words of God. Why God chooses humble, flawed, human beings to proclaim His Word is a mystery, yet understood. The prophet must be nothing so that God can be everything. All pride and self assurance must be eradicated. God doesn’t need your help, just your willingness to be His mouthpiece. Whatever you think God should say to His people or to the world must be jettisoned as pitiful rubbish. If you know what you are going to say before you say it then you have tricked your mind into believing that you are ready, you’re not. He did not ask you to think it through or give literary flavor to His Words. He asked you to be nothing so that He can be everything through you. Once the vessel is made empty it’s finally ready for the Master’s use. When you pick up the prophets mantle then God will speak to His people in a day of great confusion, He will speak to a world in unrelenting turmoil, and everyone will know that an unpopular prophet has come among them. The Last Crusade – Islam or Christianity

The three great religions believe in the God of Abraham and His selection of the Jewish people to make His name known among the world. The divergence of their faiths depends exclusively upon the messenger, messengers, or lack of a messenger or more correctly stated the true Messiah. When Jesus Christ proclaimed Himself as the true messenger sent by God to be both Messiah and the Son of God, the Jews almost immediately rejected His claims and refused His message. However, His disciples were able to see, really see the compassionate, loving heart of God. For the first time they saw God as a Father of mercy who deeply cares for His children by promising them a new life through His beloved Son. No longer would humanity be held in the bondage of sin and continuous temptation of the Devil. What a tremendous joy to follow Christ and experience a peace that defies understanding. What a tremendous change from the Old Covenant where people were enslaved to the letter of the law compounded by the thousands of additional restrictions placed upon them by their religious leaders.
