Is the world holding its breath waiting for the next major catastrophe to happen or are they remaining silent hoping to stop a global panic? Almost every believer feels something deep within their spirit that something major is about to happen. Well, if we all feel that way, then what are we going to do about it? We can’t hide our heads in the sand or find the nearest cave to hide in, nor can we just sit back and ignore everything that we are witnessing in the world. We hear all the senseless chatter, but we don’t hear what’s really happening in the world. On the other hand, we are bombarded with politics, unbelievable lawlessness, and hateful rhetoric from the rich and powerful elites, but no one is speaking the truth about what’s really happening in the world. They either don’t know, or they don’t care. Even many of the so-called prophets are being ignored because their prophecies are being disproved over and over again. It unleashes unchecked pandemonium in the digital town square, casting the left against the right. On the other hand, silence has become louder than words, raising the level of anxiety and causing a rush to the counselor’s office. Sins Will Cloud Your Eyesight
We can all disagree on eschatology and the timing of Christ’s Second Coming, but we cannot disagree on our need for repentance. My concern as a pastor for many years is that most don’t have a full understanding of what they need to repent of and more importantly how to properly repent. Most people qualify their need for repentance by what they see in others. If they see others on the news or social media with what they perceive as a much greater sin, then it often leads them to overlook the sin in their own lives. It’s very easy for the self-righteous to look down on others while ignoring their own so-called little sins. Therefore, our goal is to stop judging others, so that we have ample time to examine our own sins. Yes, it will take a great deal of time and effort to look within to examine our own character, our own thinking, and our own behavior. If we are honest, then we will soon discover that we all need repentance, including ourselves. Let’s look at the process together on how to look within to discover every unknown sin that has clouded our eyesight, then we will discuss the process of true repentance. My Dream and Its Interpretation
I have had only a few dreams that I know for certain that have come directly from the Lord. The following article is a dream and its interpretation that I received on January 29,2022. May you take great encouragement that God still speaks to us in our dreams (Acts 2:17).
My Dream
In the first scene, I was with a group of well-dressed intelligent people who had a lot to offer. They spoke well holding their audience spellbound. They appeared to be great entertainers. I was quite taken by their appearance and what they seemingly had to offer. They all demonstrated a great presence standing erect with a commanding posture.
