Spiritual Babylon Rides the Beast

At the initial writing of the book of Revelation, Babylon was considered to be Rome which ruled the nations in the world with great power, and the beast was considered to be a Roman emperor or Caesar. With the founding of the new world, America became the new seat of power in the world rivaling every other nation or kingdom to this day. It has attracted immigrants from around the world in search of prosperity and freedom to worship or believe as they wish. Although in the beginning, Christianity appeared to dominate the stage setting forth its new political agenda, it was not long before others coming would magnify their own voices in a free society. It was not long before America became a bright shining city sitting on a hill allowing the popular vote to set the agenda for both beliefs and practices. It was not long before the city, spiritual Babylon, was riding the beast allowing it to take them wherever it wanted to go. The woman riding the Beast was Mystery Babylon, later described as the great city (Revelation 17:4-5;18). The beast through the guise of a free and democratic process was setting the agenda and leading the entire population to sin against Almighty God. Little by little one perversion after another was accepted as the nation chanted USA, USA.

Well, we live in a new day and the Lamb of God is going to fight back by fulfilling all of His prophecies on spiritual Babylon and the rest of the world who has followed her into the pit of immortality (Revelation 17:14). Spiritual Babylon will be brought to its knees along with all the other nations in the world who has prospered from doing business with her. Yes, the ships of cargo will sit off the coast and wailing because they no longer have anyone to buy their cargo. They will witness spiritual Babylon being engulfed in flames (Revelation 18:9-11). However, before this happens the entire population, other than the faithful remnant, will join wholeheartedly in the political process attempting to ride the beast to glory, proclaiming that they are part of spiritual Babylon the most powerful nation in the world. They will accept every person to demonstrate their tolerance for every perversion and every belief system in the world. The bottom line is it doesn’t really make any difference who you vote for because neither party will follow their promised platform used to garner your vote. They know that their professed platforms will allow everyone to express their beliefs and immoral behavior. Nothing will change the hearts and minds of the population even with the greatest speakers and most incredible music electrifying the audience.

The only thing that can really change hearts and minds is the powerful Gospel of Jesus Christ, but even that will only put them on the right path (Romans 1:16). People will still need to be transformed in Christ, which is a lifelong process (II Corinthians 3:18; 5:17). We cannot follow spiritual Babylon and follow Christ at the same time. If we do then we will become the lukewarm Church, who will be spewed out of the mouth of Christ. Not only will they be rejected by Christ, but they will face the most horrific plagues falling on spiritual Babylon (Revelation 3:16). There is no escaping that fact. We will reap what we have sown (Galatians 6:7). We will reap the consequences of humanity’s sins. No political platform will change the inevitable; both Republicans and Democrats will reap the consequences of their personal and corporate sins. We must get back to sharing the simple Gospel with everyone we meet, but that’s only the first step. We must also disciple them in God’s truth helping them to grow from one degree of glory to another. They become our responsibility. Who are you responsible for, who are you helping to grow spiritually? Dear children, this is not possible on social media. It must be done face to face where you can read their body language and practice the art of listening before responding with spiritual guidance. Your success will be measured by your disciples disciplining others to the glory of God.

Now what happens if we don’t do anything but remain in spiritual Babylon and be carried around by the beast of worldly power? We must prepare for the inevitable. Nothing will stop the Lamb of God. Nothing will stop the Alpha and the Omega. Everything the scientists say will happen, will happen sooner than you think. They may not connect it to the prophecies, but they can effectively read what the world is doing. The heat will increase to the point where whole areas on the planet will be inhabitable. Sea levels will continue to rise and whole areas will be submerged swallowing up whole cities. Earthquakes will increase bringing death and destruction to millions around the world. Hurricanes will increasingly get worse taxing the electrical grid and sending millions into darkness while robbing them of both air conditioning and heating. Great fires will continue to plague the planet scorching millions of acres, destroying crops, and leveling cities. But the worst is yet to come the sun will play its part going well beyond the beautiful auroras. Many scientists today believe that a huge coronal mass ejection (CME) from the sun could easily perform the task of first destroying our atmosphere and then our planet with fire. No, the green initiative will not stop this. Nothing will stop the hand of God. Finally, the new viruses are increasing exponentially with humanity struggling daily to come up with a new cure causing them to enter into areas never explored before from questionable vaccines to manipulating our DNA. Nothing will stop the hand of God.

As we have already discussed, the political process will not stop the hand of God, although, as Christians, we have been given the ability to slow it down and rescue the perishing. Won’t you join God’s team today? Uncovering what the government or politicians are doing will have little effect as Satan laughs at us for burning up valuable time. Spending countless hours supporting one political platform over another will also cause the powers of darkness to rejoice for humanity missing the larger picture. Also, sharing probable conspiracy theories on social media must have the devil and his legions in stitches as they work on producing another. Spending countless hours on the internet, run by the powers of darkness, to do endless research on what the latest vaccine will do or not do to humanity must be the greatest entertainment for Satan and his powers of darkness. Yes, humanity will make mistakes trying to improve the vaccine and increase the food supply, but I am convinced that they are as afraid as we are that the next pandemic will wipe out humanity or we will simply not have enough food to feed everyone. Dear children, there is a better way to spend your time on earth. Let’s join God in helping others see the light and the only path to salvation. Let’s start by helping them to look at their own sins, which are blocking their path to salvation in Christ. Let us start by loving others more than we love ourselves, which often begins with learning how to forgive and forget.

In conclusion, we cannot stop spiritual Babylon from riding the beast, or following the Antichrist, any more than we can stop the hand of God from pouring out His wrath on unrepented humanity. But we can redeem the time by no longer following the ways of the fallen world. We can use that time by memorizing the simple Gospel printed below and making sure that everyone in our circle of influence knows it too. You can use your redeemed time learning how to grow spiritually from one degree of glory to another. We can start by controlling what we think about, see the Scripture posted below. Finally, learn from Holy Scripture how to truly love others more than you love yourself. We cannot stop the hand of God, but we can join the winning team, God’s faithful remnant. Amen

 The Gospel Presentation

We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, which explains the many difficulties that you are currently facing in your life. Well, I have good news, God has solved that problem by sending His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who was born of a virgin to show us the way to a beautiful new life in Christ. God has dealt with all of our sins past, present, and future by having His son pay the debt for our sins. Jesus Christ willingly went to the Cross in our stead by allowing all of the world’s sins to be placed upon Him as a sacrificial Lamb. As Christ hung on the Cross, the wrath of God was poured out on Him to pay the penalty for our sins. Jesus Christ died on the Cross and was buried for three days. On the third day, Christ arose from death to life everlasting. The good news is if we believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, then we will be forgiven for all of our sins and receive the Holy Spirit. The Spirit will lead us into all truth helping us in the transformation process of putting off the old life, allowing the old sin nature to die with Christ, and then putting on our new life in Christ by being raised with Christ to everlasting life. You can accept Christ today by confessing your sins to Him through a simple prayer asking Him to forgive you and make you into a new creation filled with the Holy Spirit. If you have done that, then you have just begun the greatest journey of your life that leads to heaven and eternal life. Welcome to the Kingdom.

Think About These Things

The Bible says, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (Philippians 4:8) If you can’t control your thoughts, then there will come a time when you can’t control your actions. Don’t be a part of the raging chaos and unchecked lawlessness but join the winning team today. The Lamb of God will be victorious.

Good morning Heavenly Father. We know that every true believer longs to see the fulfillment of their new transformed life, to experience true love, to see Christ face to face. Now we see in part. We pray that every believer continues to press on to experience the perfection that awaits us and not settle for an illusion, to be content with a lukewarm Christianity. We pray that they will not settle for the demonstration of Spiritual gifts and the frenzied show of power. We pray that they would not even settle for the prophetic. Let us all press on to the Heavenly bliss of love and perfection that can only be fully known in our new life in Christ. We pray that your beloved children will not settle for anything less. Help them to throw off the intellectual crutches of this world and learn to trust in you alone as they seek transformation, the new life in Christ. Oh Lord, help them to see that true love is the most excellent way to catch a glimpse of the transformed life – “then shall I know even as also I am known.” Hallelujah. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known” (I Corinthians 13:12).

Humanity is Losing Its Mind

Why does it appear that humanity is losing its mind and ability to function? For those who have eyes to see, this is very scary. We have all seen the little signs with people repeating themselves or telling the same stories over and over again. We have seen seemingly intelligent people all of sudden act like little children. We have seen the confusion and the word salads from our leaders. Even more disturbing is the anger, the bashing of one another, and the outrageous lies. We have also seen people make terrible decisions often based on an immediate desire while ignoring its future impact. We have seen many so-called improvements or updates go from bad to worse leaving many scratching their heads. Anxiety and stress among the world’s population have increased dramatically with people doing the most insane things or withdrawing completely from society. The suicide rate has increased exponentially. As divisions among the population continue unabated it’s destroying the very fabric of society that binds us together. As humanity grows more godless it no longer questions the rising tide of gross immorality and the unbelievable lawlessness that has gripped the world. It’s like the entire world is sitting on a time bomb while most of humanity is completely oblivious to what’s happening.

As humanity lines up at the counselor’s office and everyone is pointing their fingers at global warming, the latest vaccines, the increasing number of fringe groups, or the other political side to explain what is happening in the world. Others blame the increase in immorality, the lack of religion, humanity’s captivity to technology, or Satan himself for causing all the problems. On the other hand, some are even blaming religion along with the many conspiracy theories for all the problems. Contrary to what is really causing the problem, it should make us all take pause. We should be greatly concerned about where humanity and the world are headed. Dear friends, we are all affected if we want to admit it or not. Humanity is on the brink of annihilation. Although we cannot change the eventual outcome, we can attempt to safeguard our sanity by making a more assertive effort to be in the center of God’s will. So, we must ask the question, what is God’s will for His children living in the Last Days? Although I think the first thing we need to stress is God sees what you are doing. You may fool some, but you will never fool God. He knows your every thought, your every search on the internet, your every view on YouTube, your every surf on social media, and your reading or watching of every news story. You may not be as excluded as you think you are. God knows.

Now, let’s answer the question. What is God’s will for His children living in the Last Days? God knows full well the power of Satan in the Last Days. God knows with every new technology humanity is brought deeper into captivity. This blinding captivity leads people to believe that they have more freedom, that they have more control, and that they are partners in building a brave new world. Of course, this is the greatest lie of the devil. Our captivity is destroying our capacity to interact with others. It is destroying our capacity to truly love others more than we love ourselves. This captivity is leading us down a very dark path that will destroy everything we hold dear. Yes, the love of many will grow cold, which is only the beginning of our horrific descent into oblivion. We only have one option. We must heed the voice from heaven instructing us to come out from among them. I have already written much on this topic but what I give you today will truly set a new path forward for God’s elect children on what to give up. We will identify each source or activity in the world that’s leading God’s children to sin. Once identified, then we must immediately separate ourselves by coming out from her, spiritual Babylon (Revelation 18:4-5).

The obvious areas that must be avoided, such as X-rated movies, bars, strip clubs, and pride marches won’t be mentioned. On the other hand, we will concern ourselves with the areas that are not that obvious and often embraced by God’s children causing them to stumble into sin. We know from the raising of our own children that bad behavior is taught through observation. As children, we often mimicked what we saw in our parents or observed in other children. As adults, we are still learning through observation. The bad behavior we observe in others will become a part of our thoughts and then our actions. We now live in a world where bad behavior is expressed openly on social media, News feeds, videos, and movies. We cannot escape the bashing of one another, the outrageous lies, the finding of fault with others, and the unwillingness to forgive and forget. The absolute hatefulness and foul language cannot be missed. We can only imagine what is happening with the little children that are much more susceptible. We must come out from among them now or be led into the same sins. Also, let me say briefly that we also live in a society with constant flashy advertisements leading people to buy what they don’t need and what they cannot afford. If we enter into debt to appease our desires, then we have followed them in their sins. Again, these flashy advertisements are everywhere from scrolling on social media to watching television or watching YouTube videos. We must come out from among them by stopping our scrolling and viewing.

The other sin that has been ingrained into all of society is tolerance for every form of evil and belief system, either humanistic, scientific, or religious. This tolerance has become so popular in democratic societies where everything will be accepted, and nothing will be challenged. Tolerance has become a code word for total acceptance of what they do in their perverted lifestyles or the acceptance of their scientific discoveries that disagree with God’s Holy Word. Perhaps this is one of the greatest dangers for God’s children to be constantly exposed to other belief systems that are diametrically opposed to God’s truth. These other belief systems are running rampant on social media, News media, videos, movies, and the internet. Yes, discernment is essential, but unfortunately, most of God’s children don’t have enough of His truth assimilated, nor have they matured enough in their faith through their transformation in Christ to even recognize the sin and reject it as a perversion or a lie of the devil. So, our only option is to come out from among them or be led into the same sins. Finally, let me say a brief word about psychology that’s also ingrained into every fabric of society teaching the world that they have discovered how to treat all of your emotional and psychological problems. Although these problems only skyrocketed after the world started turning away from God, they dismiss the fact that those in Christ are made into a new creation and have been given everything they need for life and godliness (II Peter 1:3-4). As believers in Christ, we don’t need their endless counseling and drug therapy. We must come out from among them now or be led into the same sins.

Finally, let me conclude by dealing with a very sensitive topic, politics. In a democratic society, politics is everything, because we are under the illusion that we can actually make major changes, where we can essentially make other people do things against their will and be happy about it. We are under the false premise that if we vote the right political party into office and change the laws to force people to abide by them, then we have the power to make our nation great again. This is all a deception by the powers of darkness. We have no power to make a brave new world through the political process. The only power given to us is to change the world one person at a time through the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. The political parties run by the powers of darkness cannot change the hearts and minds of humanity but only control them by the many things we have already discussed in this article. So, what is our motivation for coming out of spiritual Babylon? We are motivated because we are so appalled at how the world is sinking deeper into chaos and losing its mind. We are motivated knowing that we will no longer be in captivity and no longer following the sins of the world. We are motivated because we are growing up in Christ and no longer affected by the plagues falling upon unrepentant humanity. As the world groans in agony, because of her plagues, we have come out of spiritual Babylon boldly rejoicing in the Lord. Won’t you join me in coming out of spiritual Babylon today?

We will no longer surf the internet and social media platforms or observe godless behavior running rampant on the News media, YouTube, streaming videos, and movies.

We will no longer be partakers of their sins.

We will no longer be held captive to their technology.

We will concentrate on building face-to-face relationships by loving them more than we love ourselves.

We will strive to live in the center of God’s will every moment of every day.

Divergent Methodology for Change

We all know that the world is in a crisis. We have heard the drums of war leading to World War III. We have seen the many signs of a global catastrophe. We have witnessed the pandemics, the many natural disasters, and the horrific effects of regional wars. What’s on the horizon will traumatize us beyond belief if we don’t change. In America, we have two very different political parties vying for change, saying they can bring peace and prosperity to a beleaguered nation. Although they both have different methodologies for obtaining their goals, neither one can really change the hearts and minds of the population. Neither one can really bring forth peace and prosperity to a world in crisis. Although I personally lean towards the conservative position because I detest the brainwashing of our precious children along with their approval of godless depravity, I know they too will never completely change the hearts and minds of the population. The world will remain divided because of the democratic process to accept two divergent platforms. Although the Antichrist will force his will upon the entire world, he too will never change everyone. Even the threat of persecution or death will not change what has been deeply implanted on the souls of the population through many years of indoctrination from both parties. The Slippery Slope of Deception

People are deceived when they think they have a new truth that no one else has, a truth, beyond scripture and the words of God. It typically starts with conspiracy theories, theories that cannot be proved. Although conspiracy theories may appear to be logical and easily accepted by those who distrust the establishment or the other political party, they will never be accepted as truth by those who have come out from among them and remain separate. Once you lose the anchor of God’s holy word and the indwelling Spirit you become open for every deception of the devil, his antichrist, and the false prophet. It becomes a very slippery slope moving you further away from God and His unchanging truth. The further you move away, the more the commands of God get lost in the rear-view mirror. What makes deception even more difficult in today’s world is everyone claims to have their own corner on the truth bringing great confusion among the people. This so-called truth is cemented in their social media echo chamber causing greater division among the population and driving them further away from God’s unchanging truth. Invasion of the Antichrist Spirit

No one can say exactly when this invasion took place, but we have seen the visible signs of it since they put the colored lights on the White House to hail same-sex marriages during the Obama administration. What we have seen since that day has been earth-shattering if we had eyes to see. Once we can clearly see the invasion of the Antichrist spirit, then the Antichrist and his minions will come more into focus. The Antichrist spirit is like a multi-headed beast (Revelation 13:1-2) reaching his tentacles into every area of society to overcome God’s children and to control fallen humanity. This is accomplished by raising up his dedicated minions to do his bidding even if they don’t realize that they are working for Satan and his Antichrist. His methodology from the beginning has been control, to control humanity even when they don’t realize that they are being controlled. See my last article “Are You Being Controlled Psychologically.”  We will briefly examine each of these minions, filled with the Antichrist spirit, to do his bidding.
