It is the Spirit of God that helps us to make the mental ascent to heavenly bliss. Without the Spirit, it would be impossible. Without the beautiful mind created by God, it would be impossible. It’s not only possible for the followers of Jesus Christ, but also essential to maintain our sanity in a world gone mad. All the hateful rhetoric and all the horrible actions of humanity begin in the mind. As we fast approach the End of Time, Satan and the powers of darkness have taken over total control of what most people think even if they vehemently deny it. Satan wants your mind. Thoughts from the enemy come in like a flood leading humanity to think the most horrendous thoughts even if they don’t express those thoughts openly. Often those thoughts from the enemy will return again and again leading most to dwell on those thoughts for hours at a time as if they were their own thoughts. As a believer, if you are honest, you too have had to contend with these unwarranted thoughts invading your space more than you realize. Thoughts from the enemy often sneak in when you least expect them to tempt you to entertain the thought even if it’s only for a brief moment in time. Today we will talk about how to guard your thoughts so that every thought, even for the briefest amount of time, will be pleasing to God. Continue reading Mental Ascent to Heavenly Bliss

In the Center of God’s Will
Living in the center of God’s will on earth as it is in heaven is a most amazing experience filled with awe. If I had only one prayer for all of God’s children living on the planet, it would be that they would all live in the center of God’s will every moment of every day. If that happened it would truly turn the world upside down. Imagine how that would look. The lukewarm church would no longer exist. Everyone in the church would be completely out of the world and following God’s will every moment of every day with both feet firmly planted in the Church, the body of Christ. They would no longer follow the ways of the world. Loving one another would be paramount. Every believer would live to serve others by learning how to recognize their real needs and immediately fulfill them with humility. No longer would they build up their self-esteem by displaying perfected self-images, beautifully crafted rhetoric, and the vanity of rehearsed mannerisms. True love would not be braggadocio but in humility would count others better than themselves (Philippians 2:3). What joy it would be to see God’s magnificent love radiate one to another in selfless acts of service. In an egotistical and prideful world, how can we ever get there? Living With A Thousand Voices
If we count up the number of different voices that we hear from the world in the course of a day and the voices that we hear in our own minds from memories to vain imaginations and from trying to figure things out to what we are going to say next, a thousand voices may not seem that far-fetched. The problem with attempting to assimilate this many voices it can create a great deal of confusion leading to anxiety, stress, and even depression. Silence and solitude for Christians have become a thing of the past, long forgotten in the dusty annals of church doctrine. Before we look at silence and solitude, let’s examine some of these different voices that come at us at the speed of light, each of them begging for our undivided attention and the acceptance of it as the undeniable truth. I don’t need to tell you where all these voices come from in the world. You already listen to these many voices on social media platforms, YouTube, television, radio, podcasts, the internet, newspapers, books, magazines, apps on your cellphone, political rallies, and people you encounter along the way. Yes, we all listen to these voices proclaiming to have the only truth. Continue reading Living With A Thousand Voices
The Unseen Enemy (Video)
They say, “seeing is believing.” Well, I am here to tell you, that some things unseen is more dangerous than anything you can see with your physical eyes. It’s more dangerous than the so-called deep state or the worst conspiracy theory. This unseen enemy can destroy your life in ways that are hard to imagine. He can do far worse than all the plagues falling upon unrepentant humanity for the consequences of their many sins. Are You Denying the Power of God? (Video)
“As Christians, we don’t deny the power of God, we walk in His power. Learn how to access the power of God to stand firm in a lawless world.”
All through history it can be seen, if you have eyes to see, the running not only in the opposite direction but as far as possible to escape what you fear most. This is what’s happening now in the world and specifically in America. There is great fear from the violent protesters in the streets and their talk of supporting an ideology of the far left, where many hold the doctrine of socialism or communism.
