The New Resistance Ordained by God (Video)

If the current division in this country and from around the world goes unabated, then the devil will have won. If the mudslinging and hateful rhetoric continues, then we will have made a path for the coming Antichrist to exercise his dominion over all humanity. If the marching, the vandalism, and the fighting continues, then the devil’s kingdom will be cast into utter darkness and decay. As Christians, we must resist the powers of darkness and the devil, but our strategy must change. Destruction, persecution, and death are on the horizon. We need a new resistance. We need a resistance ordained by God. After watching the video on my secure website, please share with others.

If the current division in this country and from around the world goes unabated, then the devil will have won. If the mudslinging and hateful rhetoric continues, then we will have made a path for the coming Antichrist to exercise his dominion over all humanity. If the marching, the vandalism, and the fighting continues, then we will become the devil’s kingdom that will be cast into utter darkness and decay. As Christians, we must resist the powers of darkness and the devil, but our strategy must change. Destruction, persecution, and death are on the horizon if we don’t change course immediately. We need a new resistance. We need a resistance ordained by God. Continue reading The New Resistance Ordained by God

The Third Step to Transformation in Christ is Love (Video)

We have seen in the last article in the series transformation in Christ that understanding and using our unique Spiritual gifts was the second step. Now as God’s Word says, “But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way” (I Corinthians 12:31). Of course, that most excellent way is both a Spiritual gift and a fruit of the Spirit, which I am calling our third step to transformation in Christ. The Third Step to Transformation in Christ is Love

This is the gift that opens the floodgates of Heaven because true love comes from God. Let’s be clear right in the beginning, we cannot conjure up this love. It either comes from God or it’s not true love. God is Love. His greatest desire is to love His creation. In fact, the miracle is He chooses to love others through us. We simply cannot out love God. Do you really want to feel God’s love then allow His love to flow through you to others? This is your next step to transformation in Christ. Desperate People

Desperate People Need ChristAs we fast approach the end of days we have seen a rise in desperate people across the globe, many of them doing the unthinkable. This desperation is caused in large part by rising food cost or food shortages. It’s also caused by a lack of employment or underemployment robbing a family of the needed resources to feed, clothe, and shelter their families. Most will agree that there are levels of desperation where some on a lower level are led to lie, manipulate, bear false witness, and intimidate others to get their needed resources.  As the desperation level increases others are led into a life of dishonesty, shoplifting, and even armed robbery to provide for their needs and the needs of their family. While working a night shift at a hotel during my Seminary days I have vivid memories of being robbed at gun point by a very desperate young man. Upon questioning his motive and seeking to change the outcome I was informed that his family was starving and he felt that he had no other options. Although I was unsuccessful in changing his mind, to this day I believe God gave me the courage to witness His love to a hurting and confused person in the midst of a very dangerous situation.
