As the new President Elect Donald Trump is inaugurated in a few days will he eventually win the hearts and minds of all the people? Will he be the standard bearer for all the Western countries? And more importantly will he be able to bring peace to the nation of Israel? Yes, I believe he can and will if he succeeds in following through on his rhetoric of building the strongest and most feared military in the world along with nuclear superiority unmatched by any. He will not be dragged down by every little war on the planet as was the case with ancient Rome and previous administrations. Nor will he be bothered by meaningless Intelligence briefings in areas of little concern for his overall policy. On the other hand, he will give full latitude to such countries like Russia and Turkey to settle their own regional disputes over territory or religious differences in the Middle East. For too long now America has played and paid the part of the world policeman, at times pulling out when things got totally out of control thus gaining the disdain or hatred from the people we promised to help. I can assure you Mr. Trump will change this failed policy allowing him to keep the resources for the building up of this nation both militarily and economically. Furthermore, if his rhetoric holds true concerning rebuilding a nation teetering on excessive debt, crumbling infrastructure, mass (real) unemployment, and seriously lacking in industry then he will have all the resources he needs to exert his power upon the global stage, which is very important if he wants to bring peace to the nation of Israel. Today’s article continues an eight week series on the armor of God. A very important part of being prepared spiritually for the “End Times” is being dressed in and utilizing the whole armor of God for Satan will be extremely powerful and even more deceptive because he knows that his time is short. Equipping your feet in preparation for the gospel of peace is the next piece of armor to be put on by the Christian soldier. In the First Century when this was first penned by the Apostle Paul without the use of feet to carry man to the furthest parts of the Roman Empire the Gospel of Jesus Christ would have never left Jerusalem. Clearly those hoping to vanquish the powers of the enemy needed to carry the Gospel into hostile lands exercising the use of their feet. Along with the feet came the whole person not just sharing empty words, but powerful words made manifest through their holy demeanor. Their body language came aglow through the Holy Spirit, as their spiritual fruit gloriously ripened and their loving actions were demonstrated. In a dark and callous world it was a breath of fresh air for those who were suffocating under the weight of confusion caused by the devil. Although, we live in a different world were the gospel can be shared over cyberspace, closed circuit TV, and print media it will never truly take the place of a face to face encounter, where people can not only hear the gospel presentation, but observe it in the life of the one delivering it. “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written:” (Romans 11:25-26a). As it is written! God made an everlasting covenant with Israel choosing them from all the nations in the world to be His people. And to this day there has been a faithful remnant in every generation professing Yeshua as their Lord, being filled with the Holy Spirit and rejoicing in the benefits of a new life in Christ (Messiah). Yet there will come a time when all of Israel will be saved, not every single person, but the nation as a whole will be saved. What a glorious day that will be for all those living upon the earth. The three great religions believe in the God of Abraham and His selection of the Jewish people to make His name known among the world. The divergence of their faiths depends exclusively upon the messenger, messengers, or lack of a messenger or more correctly stated the true Messiah. When Jesus Christ proclaimed Himself as the true messenger sent by God to be both Messiah and the Son of God, the Jews almost immediately rejected His claims and refused His message. However, His disciples were able to see, really see the compassionate, loving heart of God. For the first time they saw God as a Father of mercy who deeply cares for His children by promising them a new life through His beloved Son. No longer would humanity be held in the bondage of sin and continuous temptation of the Devil. What a tremendous joy to follow Christ and experience a peace that defies understanding. What a tremendous change from the Old Covenant where people were enslaved to the letter of the law compounded by the thousands of additional restrictions placed upon them by their religious leaders.
They say that foreign policy is written for the best interest of the country writing it. However, when one looks out on the world stage one must seriously question if that interest is for all the people or just for a select few who have been empowered to write the policy. How is it in the national interest of all of our people that we should arm rebel groups fighting against their elected officials in their respective countries? How is it in our national interest to send money, some call it blood money, to countries for seemingly humanitarian purposes to have that money enrich its leaders to live in luxury and its military to purchase weapons on the open market? How is it in our national interest to gamble the possibility of having those same rebels who received weapons, training, and money to turn against their own people because of their religious believes or give them the ability to invade another sovereign nation? I am here to say with the loudest voice that I can muster, screaming from the rooftop that it is not in our national interest and must have been written by corrupt politicians. Let’s look at the specifics. Continue reading Corrupt Foreign Policy – (Gaza, Syria, Iraq, and Israel)
