God’s Will is Beyond Human Logic

Logic has become a popular term, in our day, that goes by many different names. It has become the culmination of acquired knowledge, and wisdom, and the result of many hours of research. It has also been referred to as a sixth sense, the receiving of a gut feeling, or the expression, “it makes sense.” Logic contrary to what we call it allows humanity to make their many choices in life, which is always a gamble that can cause tremendous suffering when wrong choices are made. Although we make hundreds of decisions every day, there are a few that could have profound consequences if the wrong decision is made. Unfortunately, those consequences are not always immediately observable as we see through a glass darkly, limited by time and space (I Corinthians 13:12). Most will do all their homework, run the numbers, and have even done their research. Still, for fallen humanity, it’s always a gamble. Granted, some of fallen humanity doesn’t even bother doing any kind of research but allows their felt needs to direct their choices in life, even if they know it’s wrong or costly. When humanity removes God from their decision-making or just pays Him lip service, then the consequences can be devastating. So, it’s essential to understand God’s will even if it’s beyond logic.

Unfortunately, we live in a world that has completely removed God from their decision-making by following the spirit of Antichrist. The spirit of Antichrist tells them that they have the power within themselves to make the correct decisions. They are told that all the information is at their fingertips. The spirit of Antichrist says we can have the proper discernment by weighing all the facts. Many of the facts examined are outrageous lies, half-truths, and propaganda or conspiracy theories circulating on the internet, especially social media. Therefore, discernment becomes a self-imposed logic. This type of thinking has created think tanks of learned men and women that will also examine the history, often changed, the psychological profiles of nations or cultures, and world economics to determine the best course of action for the world to take in its decision-making. Again, God is completely removed from the equation, or He is simply paid lip service by allowing Him to validate their decisions. The will of God is no longer required or sought by most of humanity. Although some Christians may sincerely say that they want to follow God’s will, they are at a complete loss on how to understand it, and without understanding His will, then it cannot be effectively followed.

Logic and all that it entails will not allow us to understand God’s will. If you have all the facts that can be observed, you still will not understand God’s will. Without understanding God’s will completely then it is impossible to make the right choice. To understand God’s will, we must look beyond logic by stepping out in faith. If we sincerely pray seeking God’s will, then He will impress His will upon our hearts through His still small voice. The good news is God’s will for our lives will not violate the Holy Scriptures, which is our standard for all of time. God’s will may seem illogical because we cannot see all the facts. Simply put, we cannot see the future, which could adversely affect our decisions. God can see the future because He is already there. Jesus Christ said I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning, and the end. In my personal journey, I have followed God’s will even when it did not appear to be the most logical choice. I followed God’s will even if my research told me otherwise. I followed God’s will even if it was against my heartfelt desire. I trusted in God’s loving providence to work out everything to the best for His chosen children (Romans 8:28). I trusted God because He has shown me multiple times that His will was the best choice even if it was against our human logic.

So, God’s will is truly beyond logic. If we can no longer trust our instincts or our time-honored research, then how can we determine God’s will? We must learn how to listen to the Spirit who will always put us on the right path. Although we may not immediately arrive at the proper choice, we are now on a path keeping in step with the Spirit until the proper choice becomes evident. This is very important to allow God through the Spirit to lead us to the right decision. This is the hardest part for humanity who pridefully wants an immediate decision without waiting. Even many believers have no desire to follow the Spirit one step at a time waiting patiently for God to reveal His will. Most want immediate gratification even if it leads to the wrong decision. On the other hand, if we keep in step with the Spirit, then we soon realize that God opens new doors giving us a completely different perspective. We begin to see things that we never saw before. Also, when we keep in step with the Spirit, He brings to our memory certain Scripture texts that will shine a bright light into our souls, either to validate or nullify our decisions. Every step of the way God will reveal His will in His time and not ours (Isiah 55:8-9).

The Bible says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2). This takes time. It’s a process. One step at a time we move closer to God allowing Him to transform us by renewing our minds. We are no longer locked into time and space, but we understand that there is a much bigger picture that encompasses all of time. We begin to see everything from a new perspective. Decisions are no longer based on only what we see but on God’s will who knows the future. So, if we can’t see the future, which we can’t, then it always takes faith, believing God knows best even if it seems illogical at the time. In my journey, I have stepped out in faith many times even when the decision seemed illogical, and have been greatly blessed with what I have termed as God’s little miracles. It would be easy to fill up an entire book of these little miracles, but one will suffice. Early on in my ministry when finances were tight, we were faced with a decision about purchasing an expensive new tire (that was not quite the right size, because of its unavailability) or trusting God to make the trip with our old tire. Well, we prayed and trusted God to make the long trip with the old tire, and halfway to our destination the tire blew out, but to our amazement, a service station was spotted in the middle of nowhere that had the correct size tire at a much cheaper price that we could afford. All glory to God for His perfect will.

Dear children, if we trust in God’s loving providence to always lead us to make the right choice, even if it seems illogical at the time, then all of our anxieties will be exchanged for peace that defies understanding. Think of the times in your life when you said, “if I had only known, then my decision would have been different.” God knows, so this should motivate us to always follow His will. Now, let’s take this to a higher level that deals with the entire world and not just our personal choices. Prophecy sheds light on the choices of an entire world. New Testament prophecy is meant to give God’s children direction in every age from the first century until now. The prophecy is not static for only one time in the future, often misunderstood by the lukewarm church, but is dynamic for the entire End Times. So, what does the Revelation prophecy tell us? In every age, there has been the spirit of Antichrist leading God’s children astray to trust in their own logic while the prophecy warns the world that the consequences of their sins are increasing exponentially through world wars, natural disasters, and global pandemics. The spirit of Antichrist has blinded humanity into believing that they have the power to defeat the enemy in their proxy wars, to stop the pandemics by engineering our DNA, and to stop global warming with their latest decisions. Yet, humanity misses the only solution, which is following the will of God through global repentance. For the world, this seems illogical, so they will reject the will of God and suffer the consequences of world war and complete devastation. Dear children, God’s will is beyond logic. The world must repent now by following God’s will exclusively or face Armageddon. Let us pray: “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

The Gospel Presentation

We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, which explains the many difficulties that you are currently facing in your life. Well, I have good news, God has solved that problem by sending His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who was born of a virgin to show us the way to a beautiful new life in Christ. God has dealt with all of our sins past, present, and future by having His son pay the debt for our sins. Jesus Christ willingly went to the Cross in our stead by allowing all of the world’s sins to be placed upon Him as a sacrificial Lamb. As Christ hung on the Cross, the wrath of God was poured out on Him to pay the penalty for our sins. Jesus Christ died on the Cross and was buried for three days. On the third day, Christ arose from death to life everlasting. The good news is if we believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, then we will be forgiven for all of our sins and receive the Holy Spirit. The Spirit will lead us into all truth helping us in the transformation process of putting off the old life, allowing the old sin nature to die with Christ, and then putting on our new life in Christ by being raised with Christ to everlasting life. You can accept Christ today by confessing your sins to Him through a simple prayer asking Him to forgive you and make you into a new creation filled with the Holy Spirit. If you have done that, then you have just begun the greatest journey of your life that leads to heaven and eternal life. Welcome to the Kingdom.

Cherish Only the Good Memories

Click to Listen or Enjoy Reading

Our memories are one of the greatest blessings from our Creator. It is a tremendous blessing to learn many beautiful things and store that information in our memories. It is a miracle to recall most of this information in perfect sequential order for the remainder of our lives. God has also given us the unique ability to memorize vast amounts of information to perform our jobs, to create, and to remember various tasks that are essential for our survival. Memories are also crucial for our social interactions with others and for building personal relationships. We were given commandments to memorize for the building of a community with others and a proper relationship with our God. We were given memories to cherish all that our Creator has done for us in the past and all that He plans to do for us in the future. Without memories, we would be lost in a cave of despair and robbed of the very essence of what life means. Without memories, we could never cherish the many good memories from times past. Without memories, we would grow stagnant, unable to learn and retain needed information from our Creator. Without memories, it would only be a tragic existence forgetting immediately the joy and peace just encountered.

Yes, memories are a beautiful part of life. While some can cherish beautiful memories, many others in the world are inundated with painful memories. Their painful memories or bad memories can cause a multitude of problems. These memories can surface at any time for no apparent reason. We have all experienced these sudden reoccurrences even if they only lasted a short duration. If these reoccurring memories are not dealt with properly then they can cause devastating problems that will affect people for the rest of their lives. The most common memory to hold onto for many years or the rest of your life is the memory of being hurt. The hurt from others can take on many different sizes and shapes where a seemingly small hurt or crisis can be overwhelmingly difficult to bear. This hurt from others could be a misinterpreted glance from another or it could be the horrible pain of being physically or psychologically abused. Either way, the pain is real and gets tremendously worse if it’s digested and agonized over for any length of time. The longer it’s agonized over, the greater the pain increases. The sooner this bad memory is dealt with the quicker an individual will be on the road to recovery.

There is another common bad or painful memory that must be dealt with immediately. This memory is similar to the one that we just discussed, except this hurt does not come from another person. The hurt comes from yourself. Yes, humans are quite capable of hurting themselves, thus creating a lasting memory. This too comes in various sizes and shapes. It could be something as small as making an innocent mistake while speaking to others or it could be falling in with the wrong crowd and doing horrible things that are difficult to imagine. Believe me, there are many different ways that a person can seemingly hurt themselves. No matter how large or how small, if the bad memories are not dealt with properly, then there could be devastating problems. Just as before, the sooner this bad memory is dealt with the quicker the individual will be on the road to recovery. Before we look at the biblical solution to these multiple problems relating to our memory, let me say a word about what will not help. Group therapy of calling out your hurtful or bad memories multiple times to others will only exasperate the problem making it far worse by giving you the liberty to keep bringing it up to your mind again and again.

Unforgiveness is the problem that’s creating all of these bad memories. The good news is there is a biblical solution for unforgiveness. Although forgiving and forgetting is probably one of the most difficult things for humanity to do, it’s not impossible. God has given His children both the ability and the motivation to forgive. Furthermore, as we shall see, truly forgiving will also lead to forgetting the hurt caused by yourself or others. So, what is our motivation to forgive? The Bible says, “But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 6:15). This is tremendous motivation because the unforgiven will be cut off from all of God’s blessings and His protection until they have truly forgiven others. On the other hand, if we truly forgive by following the biblical principles below, then we will continue to receive all the blessings needed to overcome the hurt caused by others or the hurt caused by ourselves.  Now let’s look at the three principles of forgiveness, which will help us to forget the hurt. Dear friends, to truly forgive is to forget, allowing it to completely disappear from our memories.

So, let’s now look at the three principles of forgiveness if you truly want to forgive and forget the hurt. The first principle of forgiveness is to never bring the hurt or trespass up again to the offending party, which always keeps the trespass alive and well. We have the same tendency to bring up the past to ourselves when we have acted foolishly by beating ourselves up, allowing unforgiveness to flourish. The second principle of forgiveness is to never share the trespass with others (unless you’re in danger). Most everyone wants sympathy from others when they have been mistreated or wronged in some way. It’s part of our human nature. So, to truly forgive another we must not pass it around to others, which keeps the offense alive. The final, and most difficult principle is to not dwell on being hurt by others or by yourself. We must immediately cast it out – stop thinking about it. Although this third principle may seem impossible because the hurt keeps coming back again and again, it’s not, if we truly forgive and trust God’s loving providence to render the appropriate judgment leaving it completely in His hands. Following these three principles of forgiveness will truly help us to forgive and forget the hurt caused by others or by ourselves, following the Lord’s own example, who in Jeremiah 31:34 says, “For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” There is great power in forgiveness to bring total healing to our memories. Let me stress going forward, that the moment that you are hurt by others or by yourself, then you must forgive immediately seventy times seven, an infinite number of times (Matthew 18:21-22).

There is one more bad memory that people dwell on that is paralyzing a large part of humanity. This memory is not caused by others or even by oneself. This bad memory is typically caused by unforeseen circumstances outside of their control. Unfortunately, these bad memories will grow worse as we fast approach the end. These bad memories are caused by the effects of war, a poor economy, Global Warming, diseases, and pandemics. These bad memories will become so bad among the general population that it will cause many to lash out in unchecked lawlessness, commit suicide, or attempt to withdraw from reality altogether in some kind of Metaverse. This most devastating effect on the mental or psychological well-being of humanity is the constant recall of bad memories, dwelling on the memory for hours, days, and even years. I could simply tell the one constantly entertaining the bad memory to simply stop and cast it out, but it’s not that simple. We must do more. We must learn to trust in God’s loving providence. Trusting in God’s loving providence believes that He does nothing by accident, nor does He allow anything to happen without a path of escape, the wisdom, and power to overcome, or a valuable lesson that must be learned for our continued spiritual growth. Furthermore, if we had eyes to see we can often witness the miracle of God turning something bad into something amazingly good, truly a good memory to be cherished. Let’s learn to trust in God’s loving providence.

Oh, what joy it is to be finally set free from the bondage of our past mistakes or from being hurt by others. Yes, we have all been hurt by unforeseen circumstances, by others, or even by ourselves. Thank God, we have learned the power of true forgiveness that leads to total forgetfulness. Thank God we have learned how to trust in God’s loving providence. We have learned to cherish only good memories. Once the bad memories are gone through forgiveness and trust in God it’s like putting on the wings of eagles and flying to the utmost heights of heavenly bliss. It’s never too late to forgive and forget. For those who are not in Christ, it will be a most difficult journey, so I implore you to ask Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins and make you into a new creation, where old things, and painful memories, will truly pass away (II Corinthians 5:17). As a new person in Christ who is no longer burdened by the past, then you are free to add to your memories some of the greatest miracles this side of heaven. There is not a day that goes by when we don’t recognize the beauty and grandeur of our new life in Christ. Every day is another miracle full of abounding joy and a peace that truly defies understanding. Every day is feeling the warmth of His love enveloping us like a warm blanket on a cold night. Every day we learn how to quickly forgive and how to love others as Christ has loved us. We have learned how to trust in His loving providence and cherish only good memories. Dear children, cherish only the good memories.

Our Goal, Transformation in Christ

Yes, transformation in Christ is a reality. You have come out of the world, which has given you an amazing amount of free time. Free at last! You have gloriously redeemed the time (Colossians 4:5). You have redeemed the time by no longer being tutored by the world through all their technologies. Now, let me invite you to join me in an awe-inspiring journey that will joyfully experience your miraculous transformation in Christ. It starts with the mind, the marvelous mind created by God. A mind exquisitely designed for all of humanity created in the image of an omniscient God. The Bible says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2). If you have read my previous article and have already started coming out of the world, then you have taken the first step. You forcefully stopped Satan from conforming your mind to the ways of the world by constantly filling your mind with useless and contradictory thoughts. But this is only the first step in the journey, many don’t make it this far or immediately reverse course returning to the ways of the fallen world. Rediscover the Power of Classic Christianity (Video)

To be a classic is to be like an original without all the defects caused by improper use and the passage of time. Classic Christianity is not any different. For two millenniums Christianity has endured the changes of self-righteous man and many defects caused by their unbelief. Christianity, as it was in the First Century, is no longer the same in the 21st Century. Christianity has grown old. It’s no longer relevant for the modern man. The World’s Being Prepared for a Savior (Video)

Most people in the world today feel lost, which can cause them great fear. This awful feeling of fear can be compared to the unrelenting dreams, that many have experienced, where the scenery and strangers keep changing as one struggles to find their way or make sense of what’s happening. This feeling of being lost can last for what seems like hours. And for those who try to help you find your way, you soon discover that they are also lost, pointing you in one direction and then in another.
