Silence in Heaven

When heaven goes silent let the whole world take notice. Let God’s elect children press on with the beautiful memories that changed their lives forever. With every memory, it will be like a blessing, that solidifies their abiding trust in God. With every memory, the joy leaps within their hearts as peace fills the empty holes left by those who have passed on before them. They have learned how to cherish the silence, remembering the still small voice from God that they had heard so loudly in the depths of their hearts. It had been prophesied more than two thousand years ago that heaven would go silent briefly just before the end, as the seventh seal, the seventh trumpet, and the seventh bowl of God’s wrath simultaneously brings the world to an end. For many, this will be a frightful silence bringing forth the consummation of all things. It is the Lamb of God who opened the seventh seal as each event of the seals, trumpets, and bowls of God’s wrath unfolded simultaneously growing worse through each age from the resurrection of Christ to His return in glory to catch up all of His elect children. Let’s not lockup the encouraging truth in the Book of Revelation needed for each age. Continue reading Silence in Heaven

The Sins of the Mind

As God’s children, we must recognize the sins of the mind, so we can overcome them. Most every true believer in Christ recognizes the outward sins of what we do and what we say. However, very few recognize the sins of the mind, which encompasses every thought and every imagination. Yes, we will be held accountable for every unrighteous thought and every vain imagination not dealt with properly. Simply put, they must be cast out of our minds immediately, less than a nanosecond. This will take a lot of hard work observing every thought or imagination, deciding instantly if it’s evil, then successfully casting it out, if necessary, again and again. The good news is that we can trust in God’s grace to be with us every step of the way, ready to forgive every trespass after we have cried out to Him in true repentance. The Bible makes it abundantly clear that every unrighteous thought and vain imagination can be seen as committing the trespass in our hearts. Simply put, inwardly thinking about committing the trespass or allowing your mind to be carried away with the vain imagination is the same as doing it, actually committing the trespass. So, let’s look closely at the sins of the mind most often overlooked to our own detriment. Continue reading The Sins of the Mind

Cherish Only the Good Memories

Our memories are one of the greatest blessings from our Creator. It is a tremendous blessing to learn many beautiful things and store that information into our memories. It is a miracle to recall most of this information in perfect sequential order for the remainder of our lives. God has also given us the unique ability to memorize vast amounts of information to perform our jobs, to create, and to remember various tasks that are essential for our survival. Memories are also important for our social interactions with others and for building personal relationships. We were given commandments to memorize for the building of a community with others and a proper relationship with our God. We were given memories to cherish all that our Creator has done for us in the past and all that He plans to do for us in the future. Without memories, we would be lost in a cave of despair and robbed of the very essence of what life means. Without memories, we could never cherish the many good memories from times past. Without memories, we would grow stagnant, unable to learn, and retain needed information from our Creator. Without memories, it would only be a tragic existence forgetting immediately the wonderful joy and peace just encountered. How heartbreaking to have no memory of a loving relationship. Living with Your Holy Resident (Video)

The Bible says, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” (I Corinthians 3:16) As believers in Christ, we all know this truth. We are the temple of God’s Holy Spirit. Unfortunately, for most, it hasn’t sunk in. It’s something they believe but have not acted upon. After watching this eye-opening video on my secure website, please share it with others.

Living with Your Holy Resident

“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”  (I Corinthians 3:16)

As believers in Christ, we all know this truth. We are the temple of God’s Holy Spirit. Unfortunately, for most, it hasn’t sunk in. It’s something they believe but have not acted upon. I can remember dating my wife and inviting her to my home for a visit, but things changed when she moved in and it became permanent. All of a sudden, we were doing things together all the time, which meant my behavior was front and center. Now, plans were made together and agreed upon in advance. Even trips to the grocery store took on a whole new dynamic, realizing that there was more than one kind of milk. It didn’t take long to realize that we had our own way of doing things. We also had different likes and dislikes. Although this joyously turned my whole world upside down, it was well worth the journey. In time we truly became one, and she will always tell you that she is my better half. Today, I would like to speak to you about another full-time resident. This one too must be invited in, to take up residence in your heart for the rest of your life. Continue reading Living with Your Holy Resident
