We Are A Holy Sanctuary

As we face a deeply troubled world on the precipice of Armageddon it is essential to remember who we are in Christ. We are a Holy Sanctuary. The moment we surrender our life to Jesus Christ as Lord, the Holy Spirit enters the throne room of our hearts to begin the transformation process. This process will continue for our entire life on planet Earth. It is a process often described in the Bible as growing spiritually from one degree of glory to another (II Corinthians 3:18). Dear children, please remember that we are constantly in a state of spiritual growth, or we are slipping back into the ways of the fallen world run by the powers of darkness. It is essential to remember that we were not created to be stuck in a static personality or given a label by the counselors of psychology. The whole world is being labeled, drugged, and counseled for the rest of their lifetime by the spiritual powers of darkness. Today, we will learn again that as a Christian and faithful follower of Jesus Christ, we have been made into a new creation where old things are passing away, and behold all things have become new (II Corinthians 5:17). Embracing this biblical truth will put you back on the path of God making you into a Holy Sanctuary. As we shall soon discover being God’s Holy Sanctuary is our only sure defense against all of God’s wrath falling upon an unrepentant world. It is our only sure defense for standing against the whiles of the devil and his powers of darkness.

We are a Holy Sanctuary. The first step is to ensure that we have allowed Jesus Christ to take His rightful place on the throne in the throne room of our hearts (John 14). We wrote extensively about this in my last article. Today we will go deeper by asking ourselves what are we exposing Christ to, through the indwelling Spirit, as He sits upon our throne. Let’s take our time and walk carefully through this question one step at a time. Let’s begin with our thoughts. If Christ, through the Holy Spirit, is really sitting on the throne of your heart, then He is exposed to your every thought. Think about that. Every thought. As we sit alone or even with others the mind is always thinking. We talked before about our vain imaginations that can consume our thinking for hours on end. Vain imaginings are often carried away by our desires and fantasies that go well beyond the reality of what Christ has planned for our lives. They often border on the malicious, the lawless, and sexual fantasy. The whole world has been led by the powers of darkness to enhance your vain imaginations through Hollywood movies, YouTube videos, and social media Reels. Again everything you watch or listen to is designed to enhance your vain imaginations and invites Christ to participate as He sits upon the throne in your heart. Our beautiful minds designed by God can also become trapped into thinking the same things over, and over again causing us to spiral further and further away from God and not being His Holy Sanctuary.

Essentially there are two traps of thinking that you can easily fall into, causing us think about something endlessly and even repeat it to others, time and again. The first trap is our unwillingness to truly forgive others. When we do, then it will stay in our minds to be dwelled upon indefinitely. Let that sink in. How do we know if we have truly forgiven someone who has wronged us? That’s simple. If we have truly forgiven them, then we will eventually forget it, if we use the three principles of forgiveness. First, we must no longer bring up the offense to the offending person. Secondly, we never bring up the offense to others, often done to garner their sympathy. Thirdly, and this is the most difficult, we never think about the offense but cast it out of our minds immediately, less than a millisecond. Again, dear children, all these thoughts go before Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit sitting on the throne in the throne room of your hearts. Because of our failure to forgive others, then God will not forgive us (Matthew 6:14-15). The Holy Sanctuary becomes tarnished allowing us to partake of God’s chastisement and suffer the depravity of missing out on so many of His wonderful blessings (Hebrews 12:6-8). The greatest motivation in truly forgiving others that leads to forgetfulness is keeping those horrific thoughts from our loving God by not allowing Him to participate in them.

The second trap that most believers fall into is being trapped in the past and specifically the deep valleys that we had encountered. I call this a trap because most will never forget the horrific valleys by repeating them again and again for many years. Because these stories have been repeated so often they tend to change over the years driving many into a deeper pit of depression. It can even cause anger at God or doubt His ability to make them into a brand-new creation where old things truly pass away. So, how do we get out of these traps set by the devil that keeps many in a static personality and not growing spiritually from one degree of glory to another? If you are stuck in the past you will never become all that God wants you to be. Therefore, the first thing we need to do is remove the scars. Simply put, you turn the scars into the loving providence of God (Romans 8:28). Instead of constantly thinking about the horrible pit and its debilitating effect upon us, we think about the lessons we learned and God’s amazing deliverance from the pit often caused by our own careless decisions. Memorize the previous sentence, which will remove the scars from the valley and replace it with an amazing testimony for Jesus Christ.

Yes, dear children the valleys are lessons to be learned often caused by making our own decisions instead of listening to Christ who should be sitting on the throne in your heart. But if we remove the scars and erase the old, tarnished memories by replacing them with God’s deliverance and anointed lessons, then we can construct a beautiful testimony to the glory of God. The Apostle Paul often did that causing the Spirit to write them in the Holy Bible (Acts 22:6-21). In each instance, the Apostle only briefly highlighted his difficulty but immediately stressed the deliverance by the risen Lord, Jesus Christ, which always led him into the Gospel and its amazing benefits through faith. The valleys were never magnified and repeated over and over, rather he always stressed the loving providence of God. He often stressed that when he was weak that through Christ he would become strong (II Corinthians 12:10). As we face uncertain days ahead, we cannot be stuck in lukewarmness being controlled by the powers of darkness, but we must turn our valleys into peaks by stressing God’s providential deliverance. Our lessons simply become our very short testimony leading us into the powerful Gospel of Jesus Christ. When we do, then we are a Holy Sanctuary with Jesus Christ on the throne. This is our only sure defense in the days ahead when the world completely falls apart.

Finally, as a Holy Sanctuary with Christ on the throne we not only guard our thoughts and memories, but we guard our eyes and ears. Yes, remember everything you watch or listen to will also be seen and heard by the Lord sitting on the throne of your heart. Now, I know most Christians don’t think about this as they face a troubled world. So, when they watch their silly little videos or watching movies endorsing perversions, the Bible says it grieves the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30). When we grieve the Holy Spirit it does two things that will greatly impact our walk with Christ or our transformation in Christ. It will immediately cause the Spirit to weep and secondly, it will cause Him to withdraw from participating in your godless activity. Dear children, just because the lukewarm church has allowed the perversions to enter their doors, it doesn’t give us the liberty to bring the perversions before Christ sitting on the throne of our hearts. Let us be the Holy Sanctuary that Christ has created us to be. Listen to the angel and come out from among them so that we will not receive the plagues falling on humanity (Revelation 18:4-5). When you become the Holy Sanctuary then you will experience the greatest heavenly blessings of love and simplicity. You will also receive all the protection from the Father of Lights that holds everything together (James 1:17; Colossians 1:17, ESV). Please, dear children, let me encourage you today to be a Holy Sanctuary for the risen Lord through Holy Spirit. Amen

The Gospel Presentation

We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, which explains the many difficulties that you are currently facing in your life. Well, I have good news, God has solved that problem by sending His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who was born of a virgin to show us the way to a beautiful new life in Christ. God has dealt with all of our sins past, present, and future by having His son pay the debt for our sins. Jesus Christ willingly went to the Cross in our stead by allowing all of the world’s sins to be placed upon Him as a sacrificial Lamb. As Christ hung on the Cross, the wrath of God was poured out on Him to pay the penalty for our sins. Jesus Christ died on the Cross and was buried for three days. On the third day, Christ arose from death to life everlasting. The good news is if we believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, then we will be forgiven for all of our sins and receive the Holy Spirit. The Spirit will lead us into all truth helping us in the transformation process of putting off the old life, allowing the old sin nature to die with Christ, and then putting on our new life in Christ by being raised with Christ to everlasting life. You can accept Christ today by confessing your sins to Him through a simple prayer asking Him to forgive you and make you into a new creation filled with the Holy Spirit. If you have done that, then you have just begun the greatest journey of your life that leads to heaven and eternal life. Welcome to the Kingdom.

We Were Created in Love

What an amazing truth that all of creation was created in love. Every life form from the animal kingdom to the crown of His creation, humanity, was created in love. We were created to love God, our Creator, and to love one another. This was the perfect world before Satan entered the scene and led humanity to sin against God, their Creator (Genesis 3:1-24). Can you only imagine what it was like to see the entire world loving one another with no hate or malice? Can you imagine the entire world, including the animal kingdom loving their Creator, God? When mankind turned away from God taking all of God’s creation with them they lost true agape love. What a horrible day that was for the entire world. Instantly, with the introduction of sin, we lost our capacity to love. We lost our ability to truly love others more than we love ourselves. God sent His only begotten Son to show us the Way back, but we hung Him on a Cross. That way given to us by Jesus is still valid. It’s still accessible to all those who step out in faith believing that all things can be made new again in love. In true agape love, we can touch heavenly bliss rising above all the hate and confusion in the fallen world.

In the beginning, this may seem like an insurmountable task overcoming the many years or decades of hurt, anger, resentment, and unforgiveness. In the beginning, it may seem impossible to love those who have hurt us or others that we have cherished. In the beginning, it may seem impossible to overcome our many years of suffering and fighting to supply our own needs or desires. However, this is not only possible, it becomes a reality through our transformation in Christ.  The lie of the devil has kept most of humanity locked in bondage to their old lives believing that there is no escape. This has been an accepted norm for many thousands of years popularized by modern psychology saying if you can’t escape then your only alternative is endless counseling and drug therapy to supposedly relieve you from your suffering of past experiences, and bad memories. Yet, there is a better way taught to us by our Lord, Jesus Christ. Through transformation in Christ where all things are made new, and old things have passed away, then we are no longer locked in the past (II Corinthians 5:17). This is how forgiveness works. Through faith, we believe that Christ has forgiven us of all our past, present, and future sins. We have been washed clean by the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the Cross of Calvary making us into a brand-new creation.

In our daily prayer, we are reminded that God forgives us making us whiter than snow with no past failures to haunt us. Through love, God is recreating us, so that we will have the ability to love God and to love others. As forgiveness wipes away every sin in our lives, it also gives us the ability to forgive those who have sinned against us. Our sincere forgiveness depends on it, because the prayer continues, “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors” (Matthew 6:12). We are praying that God will forgive us in the same way that we forgive others. And how does God forgive us? He does so by removing the sin and never remembering it again, and that’s exactly how we must forgive others, by never remembering it again. Transformed believers in Christ have learned the secret of turning forgiveness into forgetfulness in three easy steps. Dear children this is essential because unforgiveness will not allow us to truly love others as we love ourselves. The three simple steps are don’t bring it up to the offending party, don’t bring it up to others to gain their sympathy, and don’t dwell on the trespass, which will all keep the trespass alive violating our commitment to forgive others as God forgives us. When we truly learn how to forgive others, then we will be in a position to learn how to love others as God loves. (Furthermore, it’s important to note that we can still forgive and forget the trespass even if we have reported it as a crime against us to the authorities.)

We have also been taught from the beginning the importance of supplying our own selfish needs first by doing whatever is necessary, even if it crosses the proverbial red line. We have learned about love from the world where it is always equated to fulfilling our needs first. We could easily parrot the four-letter word “love” to whoever met our wants and desires. And if they don’t meet our expectations then we can easily say, and most do, we no longer love you. True agape love, on the other hand, is giving to others without expecting anything in return. Moreover, it is not giving out of our excess but giving out of our poverty. Billionaires can brag all day long about giving a few thousand dollars out of their great wealth, but they don’t touch the garment of true agape, self-giving, love. Agape love, simply put, is loving others more than you love yourself. This love even surpasses the Golden Rule that says, “Do unto others, as you would have them to do unto you” (see Matthew 7:12). Jesus also said, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). And of course, that’s exactly what He did for us when He died on the Cross to forgive us of our sins that blocked our way to heaven. There is a lot more that can be said about agape, self-giving, love, but let me stress at this juncture that self-giving love is immediate, not when you have time or when it suits you. True love stops what you are doing and immediately addresses your brother’s concerns.

Dear children, that’s exactly how true love works. Remember, that it is God who really loves others through us. His love flows down to us and through us to others. And when we truly love our brothers, then that love from our brother flows back up to God in the perfect pyramid. It is God who orchestrates our many encounters during the day. He is the one that opens and closes doors. If God opens a door of encounter, then we are meant to immediately go through that open door and extend our love to others. Dear children, we miss out on so many blessings by bottling up God’s love and refusing to encounter others. I am so sad to see that happening more often in our day. People have become so consumed with technology that it not only takes precedence in their lives, but it controls them and robs them of their many blessings. I know all this agape love will take a completely different mindset, but we can start today by letting down all of our guards, putting a smile on our faces, and seeing how we can honestly extend our self-giving love to others. Don’t be afraid when people start to open up and share their problems or concerns but relish the opportunity to bring them before God in silent prayer seeking His direction on how to respond. Let me stress that listening, really listening to others, is essential in extending our love to others. Oh, what joy it is to witness God loving others through us breaking down barriers, overcoming obstacles, and ministering to the hearts of others through self-giving love.

However, in this fallen world that’s getting more evil every day, don’t be discouraged if some doors remain closed for many reasons, from being controlled by evil to being controlled by technology. That should not keep us from smiling, perhaps waving, and especially saying a silent prayer for them. Finally, true agape love will never follow the world in bashing others, ruthless gossiping, or finding fault with others. This is a very dangerous time for true believers in Christ. Almost every news article, social media feed, and streaming video will witness the world bashing the other political side. We cannot and must not join them in their hateful rhetoric bashing the other side or finding fault in everything they say or everything they have said in the past. That kind of malicious behavior proves that both sides are cut from the same cloth. We must use the adage, “If we don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” On the other hand, if we are carried away with their hateful rhetoric, then it will stunt our spiritual growth and rob us of the many blessings that come from truly loving one another more than we love ourselves. Won’t you allow God today to love others through you? The more you give to others, then the more you will get from God. Simply put we cannot out-love God. Let’s make the perfect triangle of love.

Divergent Methodology for Change

We all know that the world is in a crisis. We have heard the drums of war leading to World War III. We have seen the many signs of a global catastrophe. We have witnessed the pandemics, the many natural disasters, and the horrific effects of regional wars. What’s on the horizon will traumatize us beyond belief if we don’t change. In America, we have two very different political parties vying for change, saying they can bring peace and prosperity to a beleaguered nation. Although they both have different methodologies for obtaining their goals, neither one can really change the hearts and minds of the population. Neither one can really bring forth peace and prosperity to a world in crisis. Although I personally lean towards the conservative position because I detest the brainwashing of our precious children along with their approval of godless depravity, I know they too will never completely change the hearts and minds of the population. The world will remain divided because of the democratic process to accept two divergent platforms. Although the Antichrist will force his will upon the entire world, he too will never change everyone. Even the threat of persecution or death will not change what has been deeply implanted on the souls of the population through many years of indoctrination from both parties. A Blessing to Flee Bondage Now

In the Last Days following the Shepherd of our souls has become increasingly difficult for most people who call upon the Name of Jesus Christ. The Good Shepherd has been leading His children, for some time now, to come out from the world and be separate (Revelation 18:4-5). Unbeknown to most, the closer we get to the End the more difficult it has become. Regrettably, this difficulty has not only left His people in bondage to the world, but it has also caused them to miss the greatest blessings beyond imagination. First, we will examine the difficulty of coming out from the world and the extent of the bondage that will ultimately lead to destruction. Then, secondly, we will discuss the great blessings of taking the first steps in resisting the world and coming out of bondage. The further you come out of the world, the more you will experience blessings beyond imagination as you follow only the Good Shepherd of your soul, Jesus Christ. Dear children, I pray that you will join me on this journey that will open your eyes to a bondage you never knew existed until you are set free. Be free at last to enjoy blessings beyond measure! Brown Shirts and Lukewarm Christianity

Historically speaking both terms, brown shirts and lukewarm Christianity, have been used to describe a very dark period in the past with an astonishing relevance for today. The last Church to be described in the Book of Revelation had a very unique problem. They were neither hot nor cold, so Jesus Christ described them as being lukewarm. These end-time Christians held tightly to their professed religious doctrines but at the same time embraced many of the teachings from the world, which took precedence. These worldly beliefs could easily sway their behavior towards immorality willing to strike out violently at anyone who would disagree. In their hearts, they believed that they were Christians following the chosen path but in their actions they believed that they were on a higher path toward bringing renewal to a world or country that had lost its way. The match that lit the fire was believing that they were the only ones who possessed the truth, believing that everyone else must be false prophets or working for the enemy. This attitude of always being correct, even with known conspiracy theories, not only divides a nation, but it sends a very sharp blade right down the very heart of Christianity.
