As the new President Elect Donald Trump is inaugurated in a few days will he eventually win the hearts and minds of all the people? Will he be the standard bearer for all the Western countries? And more importantly will he be able to bring peace to the nation of Israel? Yes, I believe he can and will if he succeeds in following through on his rhetoric of building the strongest and most feared military in the world along with nuclear superiority unmatched by any. He will not be dragged down by every little war on the planet as was the case with ancient Rome and previous administrations. Nor will he be bothered by meaningless Intelligence briefings in areas of little concern for his overall policy. On the other hand, he will give full latitude to such countries like Russia and Turkey to settle their own regional disputes over territory or religious differences in the Middle East. For too long now America has played and paid the part of the world policeman, at times pulling out when things got totally out of control thus gaining the disdain or hatred from the people we promised to help. I can assure you Mr. Trump will change this failed policy allowing him to keep the resources for the building up of this nation both militarily and economically. Furthermore, if his rhetoric holds true concerning rebuilding a nation teetering on excessive debt, crumbling infrastructure, mass (real) unemployment, and seriously lacking in industry then he will have all the resources he needs to exert his power upon the global stage, which is very important if he wants to bring peace to the nation of Israel. “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written:” (Romans 11:25-26a). As it is written! God made an everlasting covenant with Israel choosing them from all the nations in the world to be His people. And to this day there has been a faithful remnant in every generation professing Yeshua as their Lord, being filled with the Holy Spirit and rejoicing in the benefits of a new life in Christ (Messiah). Yet there will come a time when all of Israel will be saved, not every single person, but the nation as a whole will be saved. What a glorious day that will be for all those living upon the earth. Throughout human history evil men have demonstrated brutality to their fellow man beyond our most horrific imagination. Men, women, and children where decapitated, burned alive, sawed into, drowned, buried alive, herded into gas chambers, or shot and thrown into mass graves. Unless you were present the world’s population knew little about the actual events nor did they experience the trauma associated with its shocking carnage. Case in point; we knew little about the extent of Hitler’s mass extermination of the Jews until months before the war’s end. However, we now live in a new day where this brutality is observed almost in real time through Social Media, YouTube, and the 24 hour news channels. The graphic images are beyond appalling as we see little precious children being decapitated by the ISIS caliphate in Iraq. This coupled with their real threat to occupy the White House perhaps through our porous Southern borders it leads most to either an explosive rage or stark fear. Especially when you seriously consider how the Sunni Muslims are being drawn to this ISIS terrorist group like a magnet attracting more followers every day. Who can say how many are living in this country? Continue reading Satan’s Tactic is Fear (Concerning the ISIS Caliphate)
If God is love then why did He tell the children of Israel, “Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man” (Numbers 31:17). This verse along with many other verses out of the Old and New Testament atheist use to supplant the love of God for their own misguided interpretation. Furthermore, they have concluded that all religions are evil being the cause of numerous wars and atrocities inflicted upon their fellow man. Then atheists typically conclude their argument by stating if God is love then why does He allow all the evil in the world. As we near the end of time atheists have become arrogantly emboldened while most believers remain silent. I often wonder if this silence is caused by fear or the believer’s lack of biblical knowledge. Let’s remember dear children that He who is in us is stronger than he who is in the world. (See I John 4:4) It’s past time to take our stand against the foolishness of this world by wielding the sword of the Spirit with all truth from His anointed Word.
“When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour” (Revelation 8:1). This is a most interesting verse. After the sealing of all true believers in Christ and in the midst of the Great Tribulation everything stops for prayer. This is a worldwide prayer meeting with devastating consequences for those living on the earth. This is more than just a gentle wake-up call that the end is at hand and that we all need to get our spiritual house in order. “The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before God from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake” (Revelation 8:4-5). We must conclude that our prayers going up before God have a tremendous effect upon the world in the midst of the Great Tribulation. As things start to heat up around the globe, it’s time to evaluate our prayers and their effectiveness. Continue reading Silence in Heaven
