Most people in the world today will never hear the voice of God. Most people in the Synagogues, the mosques, and the churches will never hear the voice of God. Most people who study and read the scriptures daily will never hear the voice of God. That’s a frightening thought that most believers today will never hear the voice of God. I tell you in one answer, but we will need to dig much deeper to really understand why most believers will never hear the voice of God. The one answer is that humanity is distracted by the powers of darkness, which has integrated itself into every area of society. The Bible says, “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 12:17). Yes, this is war as the dragon does everything in his power to lead God’s elect children astray with every conceivable distraction.  As we shall see these distractions are so strong it will take a great deal of effort, the truth from God’s Holy Word, and the power of the living God to repel them.
