The Faithful Remnant Seek to Know Their God

The one thing missing among God’s people these days in the midst of their many trials and tribulations is the seeking of your people after their God. They seek a great many things, but they don’t prepare their hearts to seek after their God. This is tragic. They seek knowledge but miss knowing their God. They study all the manuscripts and understand a great many things about the history, the languages, and the culture of biblical times, but miss knowing their God. They banter back and forth in their study groups and have heated arguments about certain words and meanings but have missed knowing their God. They know all the church doctrines and have the ability to recite their systematic theology and can discuss the finer points of their religion but have missed knowing their God. We will discover together how the Faithful Remnant seek to know their God.

The devil has blinded humanity and all its different religions from really knowing God. He has led them to discover and know things about their different gods but has blinded them from knowing the one true God. The Bible says, the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who believe not the Gospel of Jesus Christ (See II Corinthians 4:4). Satan has led them down the path of learning about their individual religions and producing the works of righteousness as defined by their sect. He cares little that you learn things about your God, he just doesn’t want you to know your God. He does not want you to have an intimate relationship with God. So, if necessary he will even instill fear into the hearts of those who seek to know their God. Unfortunately, many who call upon the Name of Christ are not unlike the people on the ancient mountain who did not want God to speak to them directly. They were not interested in coming into His presence, lest they die (See Exodus 20:19). In the same way, we have a whole generation of believers who are not really interested in knowing their God intimately and are no longer interested in or think it possible to hear His voice. The Faithful Remnant seek to know their God.

The Bible says, “A word fitly (or aptly) spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver” (Proverbs 25:11). Well, the aptly spoken word today is, “seek” the Lord. If we seek the Lord properly then we will come to know Him intimately. On the other hand, if our hearts are not properly prepared then we will be doing evil in the sight of the Lord. The Bible says, “And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD” (II Chronicles 12:14). To prepare our hearts we must truly be on the path of transformation. Let’s be clear this is not evolution, its transformation. Humanity is not evolving, if anything humanity is regressing from its original created state. It’s original design by our Creator. Whereas transformation is growing, changing and becoming more like our original state of perfection and innocence. If we truly want to seek after our God, we must be on the path of transformation or what the ancients referred to as the Way. There is no shortcut. We cannot whip ourselves up into a spiritual frenzy, becoming ecstatic, and attempting to come into God’s presence without first preparing our hearts. The key to preparation is faith or belief that Christ will do exactly what He said He would do; to give us life, a bountiful life in Him.

Of course if we don’t believe that, then transformation is quite impossible, and without transformation knowing God is also impossible. So, let’s start at the beginning. The Bible says, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). A Superior (God) has extended His grace to an inferior (us), by giving us the faith needed in order to believe as a gift. We approach the mystery of godliness, that we can’t, but He can; and if we won’t, He will. To simplify this further, when we come to the Cross believing that Christ died for all of our sins, past, present, and future then we believe that the slate is clean. We have been rescued from the power of sin and the devil. But we can’t stop here! We also believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from death and the grave. He has paved a new Way, giving us a brand-new life in Christ. A clean slate and a new life. Praise God! The Bible says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (II Corinthians 5:17). If you truly believe all this then you are being transformed as you put off the old life and put on the new life in Christ. As we put our complete trust in Christ (we can’t) then the indwelling Spirit transforms our lives (He will).

We all without fail know the old life. We know the things we should not dwell on, the things we should not do, but how about the new life in Christ. It is much more than our religious duties. Simply put it is coming into the presence of our God through Christ who has given us the indwelling Spirit. Yes, we must come up to the mountain and leave the valley of frenzied behavior, of those seeking their false gods down below. Fear not! God has already given us the grace, unmerited favor, needed for walking in this new life. We will, especially in the beginning, say and do things that may feel uncomfortable and perhaps a bit frightening; but we must step out on faith believing that God is with us through the Spirit transforming us. For the unbelieving world it is a very frightening thing; to turn the other cheek, to go the extra mile, and to love your enemies. Yes, it takes a great deal of faith, but remember that faith was given to us through grace. Step by step, we will learn how to forgive those who have sinned against us; to bless those who have cursed us, and, pray for those who have persecuted us. Through repentance, confession, and humility we, the Faithful Remnant, seek our God through the indwelling Spirit.

Yes, as God’s children we learn to listen to the indwelling Spirit. We don’t ignore His nudges or His convictions. Remember it is He that’s transforming us. We don’t ask Him to step into a different room so that we can do something that we know that God would not approve. We never allow fallen man to explain away the clear teachings of His Scriptures made alive through the indwelling Spirit. If the Word says that He has given us everything we need for life and godliness, then we believe it (See II Peter 1:3) If the Word says we are a new creature and the old things are passed away, then we believe it (See II Corinthians 5:17). If the Word says that Jesus came to give us life and that we might have it more abundantly, then we believe it (See John 10:10). If the Word says we can participate in the divine nature, then we believe it (See II Peter 1:4). When we seek our God we do so in faith, believing all that He has taught us through the indwelling Spirit. We approach God in humility, in faith, with a clean heart, and in quiet meditation. A proud, faithless, unrepentant sinner, that’s undisciplined will not know God. On the other hand, we will enjoy intimacy with our God. Then we can finally say, “We have moved beyond just knowing about our God, to actually knowing God.” Amen.

We Are the Faithful Remnant

As we draw closer to the end no one will doubt the increase in wickedness and the power of Satan. They won’t doubt the destruction of humanity and our home, planet Earth. We would all have to be blind to miss what is happening all around us. However, what most will not easily admit is how difficult it is to stay pure in an impure world. They will not easily admit their tremendous struggle with the things they see and hear in the world. There is a growing group within all of Christianity that admits to this struggle and have banded together through small groups in churches, in business and on Social Media to support one another in prayer and mutual encouragement. By way of introduction, we are the faithful remnant. Some have referred to their selves as the remnant army, but whatever we call ourselves our goals are the same to stay holy in a wicked world that’s being slowly destroyed from within.

We are the faithful remnant. Our allegiance is to Jesus Christ alone above any organization established by self-righteous man. We see clearly the polarization taken place in the world and within Christendom. Some of the faithful remnant may remain in their respective groups, organizations, and churches but they sense the difference. They know that their faith is different. It’s more radical and focused on God alone. They know those things in the world that tug on their faith. They have learned those things in the world that want to interrupt their time with the indwelling Spirit. They have learned to control their emotions but also how to embrace the positive emotions to the glory of God. They also long for and expect the transformation to take place in their lives. Finally, we are not a cult by anyone’s standards because we stay within the groups that we were called. If we came out of the group, the organization or the Church, we would no longer be considered a remnant. We are not divisive, nor do we entertain a split.

We are the faithful remnant. No matter what happens in the future our faith grows stronger every day. Yes, we hear the cries and the complaining. We hear the agony of others who are ready to give up their holy pilgrimage and just be good to their selves and plunge into the many social activities or entertainment the world has to offer. We hear their excuses for not redeeming the time; for not taking the time to walk with God in the Spirit. On the other hand, we of the faithful remnant relish those times of quiet solitude in the Spirit that can last for hours. It’s not just another religious duty, it’s life in the Spirit. When things happen we may experience all the same negative emotions as the world, but they are very short lived. As we turn to the Lord we have learned how to dissipate fear, anxiety, anger, wrath, and even a momentary lapse of depression. We have embraced all the positive emotions of each of the Spiritual fruits and especially love, even for our enemies.

We are the faithful remnant. We long for the transformation and expect it. So, we don’t look back on our previous life before we knew Christ because we know those things have passed away. We don’t even dwell on past failures, because we know that we have been forgiven and as far as God is concerned it no longer exists. We hear the world tell us how they have discovered their personality type and are eager to live up to it, on the other hand we know and believe that our personality is changing every day to be more like our Savior Jesus Christ. We hear the world say that they can never change who they are because some counselor told them they would always struggle with the same psychological problem for the rest of their life. We say that God has already delivered us from our past life and its multitude of problems, now we have this bountiful life in Him to the glory of God. As the world grows more-evil and trapped in their old lives, we are growing and becoming more like Christ every day. We are being transformed.

We are the faithful remnant. When we come before the Lord in the Spirit it makes little difference of our surroundings. If we are in a small hut in the deepest part of the jungle, the prison cell, on death row or in the comfort of our home, it makes little difference if we are in the Spirit, the safest and happiest place to be. We have been accused of being too Holy or being too extreme in our Christian pilgrimage, for we bear in our body the marks of Christ in our fight against the real enemy of our souls. Every vain imagination and immoral thought that has been cast at us by the enemy, we have successfully repelled them to the glory of God. We have also repelled the hateful and threatening words spoken to us by the heathen encouraged by the enemy. Our emotions are still intact and the joy of things to come still enters our hearts. We have remained faithful. The prayer that’s always on our lips is that God will strengthen the inner man to stand firm as we see the many signs of His coming all around us. From blood moons to earthquakes we are ready. May we, your faithful remnant always be Holy and righteous in the Lord singing praises to you out of our good conscience Amen. We are the faithful remnant.

The Prophecy (Video)

Why does anyone reject a true prophet? Why would anyone reject, “The Prophecy.” Clearly, prophecies tend to dash people’s hope. Although I may proclaim loudly it doesn’t need to do that, for most it will. Hope is a very powerful tool in the hands of those who wish to shape the destiny of a nation. It’s very powerful when people want something different than what they had before. After watching this video please share with others.

The Prophecy

They say that a prophecy unsaid is like burning embers in the soul of man. If the spiritual vision was real and the mind was expanded to receive it then I must, I feel compelled, to proclaim it. Let this prophecy be spoken first to the Christian Church then in time all will hear. Some will accept it while many others will reject this truth and will continue on their merry way. Why does anyone reject a true prophet? Why would anyone reject, “The Prophecy.” Clearly, prophecies tend to dash people’s hope. Although I may proclaim loudly it doesn’t need to dash your hope, for most it will. Hope is a very powerful tool in the hands of those who wish to shape the destiny of a nation. It’s very powerful when people want something different than what they had before. Let’s keep that in mind while we listen to this prophecy. There is so very much to say it’s difficult to know where to start. So, I will start at the beginning.

Perhaps our hope was found in the new administration. For many years this country and the world were all headed in one direction. As the ship of State continued full steam ahead there was not that many major course corrections, no matter which party was elected. Their goal then and now was globalization. No borders, no walls, no problem. They worked frantically to build a brave new world to accept every lifestyle, every sexual orientation, and every religion upon the planet to accept one another as partners in this new world order. Even the Catholic Church has embraced this idea during the Obama Administration. The young men of science have paved the way by demonstrating how AI or Artificial Intelligence could greatly improve our lives and how they now had it in their power to stop global warming, send men to distant planets, to keep asteroids from hitting planet earth, to remove hunger, poverty and establish a UBI or Universal Basic Income, which we will talk more about in a minute.

First, we need a bit of a history lesson. For a very long time now perhaps from the late sixties step by step this country along with the rest of the world has been pushing God completely out of the picture. From evolution to psychology to prescription drugs young people were being taught that God did not have all the answers for modern man. The entertainment industry, schools of higher learning, and the news media agreed leading an entire planet to accept its new teachings. Eventually, the laws of God disappeared from our schools and government buildings being replaced with the laws of man. Teaching them that anything is possible if we just all learn to accept one another by tearing down our walls, opening our borders, and to hate the bigots or those who disagree. This has all been going on for a number of years while most of us slept. The previous administration of Barrack Obama woke up some of us to fight back while we still had haunting memories of colored lights on the White House.

This fight energized most of the Christian population to go to the polls. Deep in the heart of the American psyche they desired a new direction. They were tired of the perversions in the streets of America. They needed a new hope and they found it in an outsider. He was a bit rough around the edges, seemed a bit prideful, and had a sordid past with the women. But we liked his promises to make America great again hopefully sending it back to its biblical roots and to stop all this crazy talk about a new world order with open borders. We discovered quickly, however, that it was not going to be easy. The new administration rejected everything the world had been working on so hard to accomplish. People crying in the streets, making death threats, and abusing those who work for his administration showed us just how deep the divide was. The pendulum had swung fully to the right to rebuild the republic on the founding principles of capitalism. With the embrace of the Christian community the day had been won, a new hope and been established, but the prophecy does not look good for either capitalism or for the Christian.

Most economists know that eventually capitalism will fail. It will not be compatible with the new age of AI or Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Robotics that will replace most humans as workers on the planet. Once that happens they will have no choice but to enact UBI or Universal Basic Income which will not work with Capitalism. The world will need a form of socialism and we all know from history where that will lead. There will only be two classes of people, those who run the world and everyone else. Before we get to that point the globalists will be back in office making plans for the future. The transition will be a lot easier than you think, because all the young people that had been groomed and taught by the State for so many years are now back in power. The pendulum will once again swing all the way in the opposite direction and they will remember well who had sent their ship of State in a different direction. They will remember well how the Christian community supported the previous administration run by the outsider.

So how is this going to affect the Christian who is living after the pendulum swings back allowing the globalists back into power? Not much for those who have already fallen away and no longer believe in the sufficiency of Scripture and the exclusiveness of Christianity. On the other hand, those who have remained faithful to the doctrines of Christ will be hated for the years they disrupted all their plans by forcing the ship of State to go in an opposite direction. This hatred will not be curbed by the globalists but may actually join with them in an open persecution of God’s faithful remnant. What we have seen as of late, such as refusing to serve people in a restaurant, by taunting them on the streets, or their vulgarity in the news media will pale in comparison. The onslaught of their hatred will not be unlike the first persecution in Ancient Rome. The Christian community will be blamed for its years of frustration with the previous administration. The prophecy is true, the pendulum will swing back, and Christians will be persecuted. God help us to stand firm. Amen
