Don’t Give Up on God

We are now clearly in the time of the falling away, especially in the West (II Thessalonians 2:3). I believe that many have simply given up on God. Perhaps they have forgotten or haven’t ever known that God loves them deeply. Perhaps with the discovery of the size and depth of space with its infinite distance, mankind feels that they are too small in the sight of God, or they feel insignificant. They ask candidly, “Does God believe in me?” With all the horrific pain in the world, many ask does God really care. They ask, “How can a loving God allow this tragic circumstance, happen to me?” Every day it gets tougher for humanity. Every day many wonder if they can make it another day as the world grows increasingly more dangerous from unchecked lawlessness to the threat of a nuclear war. Every day many experience the trauma of emotional and psychological problems. Every day many feel the brunt of the many different natural disasters destroying their homes, their livelihoods, and even their loved ones. Let’s be quite clear Satan, our old arch-enemy, wants us to give up on God. His one aim is to destroy your relationship with God.

We have seen very clearly that the world’s answer to emotional and psychological problems also leads people to give up on God. When people are told that it’s impossible to break away from their past, then they are led to give up on God who has the ability to make all things new. When people are told that they must continue with psychological counseling and psychotropic drugs for the foreseeable future or the remainder of their lives, then they are led to give up on God. As we shall see, God has wonderful counsel from His anointed Word that will deliver you quickly from every known emotional and psychological problem. Furthermore, when we are faced with a physical problem that the world cannot solve or even identify, then it becomes easy for most to give up on God. Instead of turning exclusively to an all-powerful God, most will settle immediately for a lifetime of prescription drugs without giving God a chance. Most are unwilling to struggle with the slightest pain that could carry them to the foot of the Cross for God’s miraculous healing. Most in our modern world have already given up on God as they turn almost exclusively to humanity to solve all of their problems.

Please don’t give up on God, for I will show you a miracle of miracles that will change your life forever. You will never see things the same way again. Faith opens the door to amazing possibilities. Before we get started, let me be very clear, I can only show you how to open the door. The faith must be yours. Moreover, I am not telling anyone to stop their medication or worldly counseling. This is a decision that every called believer in Christ must make based on their own personal faith. If I tell you the truth that Peter stepped out on faith and walked on water with Jesus, then I can say with all assurance that faith alone can open a door to the miraculous. Well, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. To possess the faith that I am speaking of can only come from God through the indwelling Holy Spirit. To attempt faith without the Holy Spirit given to us through our salvation in Christ is meaningless and very dangerous. To do so, invites the powers of darkness, working through many different disciplines such as Witchcraft, Occultism, and the New Age, to control your life, which can also seal your eternal destiny in hell.

The starting place in opening the door of faith always starts with the call (Romans 8:28). Yes, the souls of fallen humanity will hear the call, most often, through a clear presentation of the Gospel, which has power unto salvation (Romans 1:16). They sincerely feel that God has spoken to their heart inviting them into His Kingdom. I say most often because on occasion God has called certain ones directly to fulfill His mission on the earth. The power of the Gospel leads to faith believing the message that God’s Holy Spirit will indwell the believer. They believe the message that His job is to make us into a new creation where old things truly pass away and give us marvelous gifts to use for the furtherance of the kingdom here on earth. We also accept the truth that we have been forgiven of all previous transgressions. If we don’t get beyond these fundamental beliefs, then we will never witness the power of God to re-make us into the kind of people we are called to be. On the other hand, those who firmly believe in the truth, then they will recognize the power of God to transform their lives. They will recognize the great power that comes from trusting in God’s loving providence. They will learn how to accept each circumstance, even if it’s most difficult, by believing that God has not abandoned them but is still with them giving them needed direction and encouragement to see it through with peace in their hearts.

As believers in Christ, we must think about what lies ahead if humanity still refuses to repent of its many transgressions against God’s Holy Law. There will come a time when it will be nearly impossible to secure your prescription medications. This will have a tremendous effect upon fallen humanity who has become dependent on the medication and in most cases addicted to them. Although pain and suffering will be nearly unbearable, it is the psychological trauma acted out in unchecked lawlessness that will have the greatest effect on society. If we add to this the scarcity of counselors to calm the masses, then insanity and suicide will dramatize their total dependence on the drugs. I would like to encourage everyone, both unbelievers and Christians, to work with their doctors to come off all of their medications as quickly as possible. I sincerely understand that in certain cases this will be impossible but for most, it will be possible. It will be possible because most all medications only treat the symptoms and not the cause. It’s common knowledge among most doctors that most problems will simply go away on their own with most medications designed only to treat the symptoms. For those medications that can really treat the cause, then we would need to pray for God’s grace until medications can be found. We will need to remind ourselves, “…that all things work together for good to them that Love God, to them who are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).

The true believers in Christ, have learned how to depend on God for their entire body, mind, and spirit. They have the assurance that God, our Heavenly Father, has us in the palm of His hands. Many of these dear saints have already witnessed the healing power of God. They have already witnessed miracles upon miracles in their lives as God truly works all things together for good for those who love Him. So, whenever they face an emotional or psychological problem they immediately turn to His Word for comfort, encouragement, and necessary direction to cause their problems to flee. They have learned the miracle of deep prayer and meditation that brings us into submission to the Lord through the indwelling Spirit that always leads to tremendous joy and a peace that defies understanding. They have learned to keep their mind stayed upon the risen Lord as they face the many and sudden pains of our physical bodies. They have learned both the great power of miraculous healing and the power to graciously accept whatever pain we must endure. They have learned that those enduring pains can help us make great strides in our spiritual growth or simply learn a needed lesson. Either way, we have learned to trust completely in God’s loving providence. We have not given up on God. He is the source of all our strength.

Revelation Revealed in an Epiphany

I have studied the book of Revelation and taught its truths for 45 years. I have also written and published three books on its timeless truths. Today I will be presenting an amazing overview of the revelation that I received from the hand of God in what I have called an epiphany. I am not certain if I was caught up, had a theophany, or had an epiphany, but I am certain that it was different from anything that I have ever experienced before. For many years I have heard the still small voice of God through the indwelling Spirit, but this last experience was totally different. Typically, the indwelling Spirit will give us the correct words to say or write at a given moment in time. The Holy Spirit can also help us see the depth of Biblical doctrine and have a clearer understanding of Biblical prophecy. We can build our doctrine over time, developing a larger picture of God’s past, present, and future dealings with humanity. However, we don’t often get the big picture all at once, including all of time, which is understandable because we live in the here and now. We live in the present. On the other hand, Christ said that He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning, and the end (Revelation 22:13). He is not locked into time but sees it all, the past, present, and future all at the same time.

The Epiphany was different in that I saw the entire truth instantly from the beginning to the end. You might say, “I got the big picture in an instant.” Another thing that made this encounter so different was the swooshing noise at the end of my experience where I was instantly brought back to my reality. This Epiphany, which I recently had was during my morning prayers and meditation. Instead of just examining the past, the present, or the future, the epiphany was remarkably different. It instantly came in a flash giving me the big picture as seen by God. On a timeless canvas, it unlocked and majestically painted all of Christian history from beginning to end. It instantly awakens the mind and spirit within man to see God’s beautiful plan, which I unknowingly mostly captured in my latest book, “God’s Loving Pursuit” where I take the reader on a journey from the creation of the world to the end just prior to Christ glorious return in glory. So, what truth did I see in my epiphany? In an instant, I saw that the fallen world cannot eradicate evil. No matter how hard humanity tries from passing new laws to enacting new policies to control the masses, they will fail. All humanity can do is push evil back, control it, lock it up, or cause it to hide in the hearts and minds of humanity. Fallen humanity cannot eradicate evil.

Finally, this epiphany has confirmed my long-standing interpretation of the book of Revelation. To properly understand the book of Revelation we must look at the entire book as a series of eschatological events that are currently unfolding throughout the entire timeline from the resurrection of Christ to His return in glory. As each eschatological event unfolds starting with the seven churches that represent all the church ages from the first century until now. We are currently the Church at Laodicea. Other events have also started to unfold throughout Church history at different points on the timeline and will continue to do so until the end. Every eschatological event, contrary to when it actually started will all end at the same time. I have previously written about most all of these unfolding eschatological events, but for the sake of brevity, we will only look at one in relationship to my epiphany. The eschatological event we will look at is the sounding of the fifth trumpet, which is the first woe. It is called a woe because it sorely affects all of fallen humanity (Revelation 8:13-9-2). I have entitled this woe “The Silent Pandemic of Mental Illness,” which I have written profusely about in blog articles and in my latest book. Satan introduced this most destructive lie many years ago in Bagdad, Iraq, in 750 AD. This was the beginning of psychology and humanity’s failed attempt to overcome the old sin nature.

I have written in detail about how psychology, its counseling, and its administering of psychotropic drugs have failed humanity. Simply put they have tried to overcome the old sin nature, which is quite impossible. This has been proved by how mental illness has turned into a worldwide pandemic spawning insanity, suicide, and horrific lawlessness. It’s a wonder that the human race has lived so long. They are always at war with one another allowing their cluttered minds to think the worst of their neighbor. It’s so tragic that they have rejected the love from God that allows them to see others in a different light. It’s so tragic that they have not trusted in God to show them so gently how to remove the scars from their own past and experience the wonder of a new life in Christ. It’s so tragic that they still follow the world in attempting to change people without ever touching their hearts. As lawlessness increases tenfold and deep-seated psychological problems cause people to become alarmingly more aggressive, it will grow horrendously more difficult to maintain your Christian composure. The temptation will be great to hide your Christianity or strike back with impunity. I am brokenhearted that most of Christianity who has the message of the new life in Christ still refuse to share it with others. Christ came with the eternal message that through faith lives can be powerfully changed and evil permanently eradicated.

It will be most difficult when most of humanity loses their ability to function in the real world, from their inability to perform the simplest of tasks to demonstrating a caring attitude. This is when many will begin to escape their reality in the Metaverse. On the other hand, God’s Kingdom can and will completely eradicate all evil in the world by changing hearts. Jesus Christ and His Gospel can and will powerfully do this through faith, changing the hearts and minds of humanity. I believe this was the vision that the early Christians had, which was the driving force behind everything they did. This was the driving force that allowed them to stand firm against their persecutors. The Gospel message will prevail as it briefly did in the first century as outlined in my latest book, “God’s Loving Pursuit.” The point is every person who claims to know this truth must be focused only on this mission and not on what the world is trying to accomplish through laws and mandates. The sad part is, we have forgotten this truth, we have gotten off mission. When a church forgets this mission of saving souls to be transformed into the image of Christ then it is no longer a church but only a social club. It seems like the whole world is trapped on social media following the crowd and not making any real difference in the life of others.

I have written about all the trumpets, the woes, and the bowls of God’s wrath as they are currently falling upon unrepentant humanity. We have briefly looked at the first woe but let’s not forget the second woe, the sounding of the sixth trumpet, which also began in the first century as a heresy and later materialized as the Muslim invasion. This is a threat that will continue until the end when they join forces with Russia and the rest of the Kings of the East to rain down fire and brimstone upon the final Antichrist in the West. Throughout the entire end time, God’s faithful remnant will continue steadfastly as seen in the following passages in the book of Revelation 12:17, 14:12, and 18:4-5. The epiphany was true and very relevant for our day. It encourages God’s children to stand firm throughout the Great Tribulation believing that only His message of salvation will ever eradicate evil in the world. We can tell the world why they are experiencing all of their problems, but they also need to hear the solution. The only thing that can overcome the old sin nature and experience life to its fullest is salvation in Jesus Christ. We must get back on mission and share the simple, yet powerful Gospel, with everyone we know. Yes, we are in the last church age, the church of Laodicea, but we are also the faithful remnant to the end.

Please join me in Prayer

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray, Oh Lord, that you open the eyes of the lukewarm church who has been blinded by the world. They are happy that their pews are occupied, and their coffers are full but don’t realize that most of their members are carnal. Because of their carnal mind, they are unable to keep the law of God and need constant counseling schooled by the methods of psychology. Open their eyes to see that their inability to keep the law of God is because their members have not completely surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Help them to see that when they truly die to self, allowing Christ to make them into a new creation then it gives them both the desire and the ability to obey the law of God. True believers in Christ may need an occasional exhortation, encouragement, admonishment, or a loving rebuke, but we, Oh Lord, know that they don’t need constant, non-ending counseling allowing them to remain as little more than babies in Christ or of a carnal mind, which is an enmity to God. We pray that you awaken the lukewarm church. We are truly the church of Laodicea. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be” (Romans 8:7).

Accessing Power to Win the Battle

There is a battle raging in the world today that will ultimately destroy all flesh. The battle is so intense that many are driven to the threshold of insanity committing horrific acts of brutality that no longer shock us. The battle is so intense that it’s causing great divisions in humanity that go well beyond the natural boundaries of nationality, race, or political affiliation. The battle is within the hearts and minds of humanity. The battle is so intense that it’s causing untold psychological and emotional problems driving many to the counselor’s office, psychotropic drug addiction, or suicide. There will come a time when it’s no longer just the left against the right or one group against another. The battle is within the mind as people fight to maintain a sense of normalcy or even their existence as human beings. Although many will attempt to escape their reality, in the end, it will still bring total destruction to all of humanity. On the other hand, there will be a few who will not be overcome by this great battle for the mind. Some will learn how to access the great power to win the battle.

Satan stands at the door of hell unleashing his barrage of thoughts and imaginations to fill the minds of unsuspecting humanity. Yes, implanting thoughts and imaginations into the minds of humanity has been Satan’s battle plan from the beginning. Things have gotten so much easier for him and his host of wickedness in the modern day of technology. Now, he has the internet, news media, social media, and even the coming Metaverse to spread the many things he would like you to think about. They don’t even all need to be lies or half-truths, but they do need to pique your interest so that they can occupy your every thought or immigration. This is Satan’s battle plan. When we open the window to the world it won’t take long to see the many things occupying the minds of humanity. Many of these thoughts can immediately lead us down a very dark alley with recurring thoughts that could cause us to face our worst nightmares. Most thoughts, coming at us are meant only to keep us occupied, filling our minds with things that we keep thinking about all day and even throughout the night. These thoughts come in like a flood, from the ruthless political infighting to the latest technology or scientific breakthrough, and from observing the shocking lawlessness to thoughts of fulfilling your every carnal desire. Moreover, we are inundated with thoughts that turn into worry or fear about global warming, impending war, and the next virus.

Furthermore, we are constantly exposed to the worldwide acceptance of evolution, alternative lifestyles, and choosing one’s own gender. We are confronted with endless scientific discoveries or the worldwide acceptance of psychology that questions the authority and sufficiency of Holy Scripture. Humanity is consumed with these thoughts nearly every moment of every day. It is essential that we take an inventory of what we think about and how much time we spend on certain thoughts and imaginations. If you are honest, it will shock you or even haunt you, so we must learn the power to win the battle in our minds. There is some great advice in the Bible about casting out vain imaginations or anything else that would exalt itself against the knowledge of God (II Corinthians 20:4-5). There is great advice to monitor our every thought and if they don’t align with our Christian character then we must refuse to think about it (Philippians 4:8). The Bible is replete with information on how to overcome the old sin nature by immediately casting out evil thoughts or vain imaginations and replacing them with righteous and holy thoughts (Ephesians 4:22-27). The power to win this battle in our minds is available to every believer in Christ.

Furthermore, and more specific to our study today is what the Bible says next, “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ” (I Corinthians 2:16). We know from Scripture and from experience to claim that we have the mind of Christ seems like foolishness to the carnal man but to us, it is the power of God. To have the mind of Christ allows us, and even leads us, to think His thoughts after Him. This is the power that will win the battle in our minds. The devil has no control over the one who has the mind of Christ, for our mind is given great strength and power to resist. We can resist every so-called emotional and psychological problem. We can resist every temptation from the devil. We can resist in our mind all that the devil can throw at us. We have the mind of Christ.  I can tell you, with all assurance, that the thoughts of Christ are not following the thoughts of the world. The mind of Christ is not focused on who wins the next election or the many other news stories filling our minds every day. As we shall see, the mind of Christ is focused on His original mission, which has not changed in two thousand years.

Just as the thoughts of Christ came from His Father, God, during His ministry, they come now in the hearts and minds of His followers. The mind of Christ then and now is still focused on His original mission. To have the mind of Christ allows us to share His desires for building the Kingdom of God, which is seen so clearly in the Lord’s Prayer. The mission of Jesus Christ is so important that it’s at the core of our daily prayer. If we look at the Lord’s Prayer the whole mission is summarized in one sentence, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). Thy kingdom come should speak volumes. The only way that God’s kingdom will ever come is by leading people, all people, to believe in the message of the Cross. This is not just a message of acceptance. It is a message of belief in all things taught through the Holy Spirit. It is a message of describing in detail how to pick up our cross, die to self, and follow Christ (Luke 9:23). There is great power in this simple message that opens the door to the Kingdom and eternal life (Romans 1:16). When we follow Christ on mission then we are fulfilling His command to do His will on earth as it is in heaven. The mind of Christ is unreservedly dedicated to the mission. When we follow Christ on His mission it is an amazing journey with one little miracle after another.

When we have the mind of Christ and follow Him on mission, then it’s much easier to step out on faith doing the impossible. I have witnessed this many times in my walk with Christ. Not only do we have the power to do the impossible, but we also have the wisdom and the ability to withdraw from an unproductive encounter that’s not mission centric. Having the mind of Christ on mission is a most beautiful thing because He always gives us the right words to say, to convict, to encourage, and to help others to solve their unrelenting problems. To have the mind of Christ encourages us through the indwelling Spirit to be in the right place at the right time, either by holding back for a moment or going somewhere quickly to meet an individual ready to hear the Gospel or to be helped in their spiritual growth. To have the mind of Christ never blindly rushes ahead; to do so, one could miss many beautiful opportunities. The timing of Christ working all things together for good on mission is an amazing thing always to be treasured in our hearts. What a wonder it is to witness Christ working through us on mission. Finally, the devil has no power to stand against this mission. To have the mind of Christ and follow Him on mission has great power to win the battle in our minds by staying focused on establishing His Kingdom here on earth. Amen

The greatest phrase to open the door of opportunity for sharing the Gospel is, “Remember that God loves you.” Please see my latest book, “God’s Loving Pursuit.

The Final Prophecy

When the prophets stop prophesying it will be a dark day indeed. Although many will continue to prophesy from their own imaginations, it will not bring light to a dark world, it will only bring greater confusion. I have written about the coming Antichrist, the wiles of the devil, and the evolving Metaverse but nothing can really prepare humanity for the horrific days ahead. The prophecies in the book of Revelation have warned humanity for over two thousand years and it has only created greater confusion with one saying one thing and another saying something different. Yet, with spiritual eyesight, the book of Revelation is understood as a prophetic history methodically unfolding since the first century. The woes have unfolded, and all the trumpets have sounded from the beginning announcing the progression of each plague and woe poured out on unrepentant humanity. We have seen Antichrists arise in each age, some leading whole civilizations astray. We have witnessed the greatest wile of the devil, which has brought most of humanity into a lifetime of bondage to counseling and psychotropic drug addiction. This wile of the devil is also the first woe in the book of Revelation (Revelation 8:13-9:11), which I have explained in detail in my latest book, “God’s Loving Pursuit”. Living as Citizens of Heaven

Most every person is a citizen of their respective country with certain rights and privileges. Most of these citizenships are bequeathed at the time of birth. Some are seeking to change their citizenship while others are content with remaining as aliens in a foreign land. Either way, they pridefully assimilate into their new country expecting to receive all the same rights and privileges. Today I want to talk to you about a different kind of citizenship that can’t be earned or pridefully assimilated. This citizenship can only be given at the time of our rebirth or transformation in Christ. This glorious new citizenship is in heaven even while we reside as aliens upon the earth. Although technically we keep our citizenship on earth in our respective countries, we are no longer beholden to its ideology, its humanistic ideals, and its inclusiveness. There is a great difference between our heavenly citizenship and citizenship of the world. When true believers embrace their heavenly citizenship, then they embrace the ideology and exclusiveness of the Kingdom of God and are not beholden to the dictates of their respective countries, which are diametrically opposed. However, this is not what we see in the modern day. Many Christians are beholden to the dictates of their respective countries. Continue reading Living as Citizens of Heaven
