It’s said that we all dream, perhaps every night. I like most have had crazy dreams that make little sense, chase dreams that leave you exhausted and fragmented dreams you can barely remember or understand. But then occasionally one immediately understands their dream and its intended meaning. I had such a dream years ago on the eve of a preaching event that taught me an invaluable lesson concerning God’s irrevocable call and man’s futile attempt in forcing people into His kingdom. On the other hand, what concerns us today are the reoccurring dreams that I have experienced, one since childhood. These dreams seem profoundly important if one could truly understand or interpret their prophetic message. I am convinced that God can and does communicate occasionally through dreams. This type of communication may not be as prevalent today as it was during Old Testament times but no less important to a modern world that’s gone mad. It’s on this later stage that I will share my dream with the hope that God’s children will awaken from their slumber and re-enter the harvest field for the days are short.

Letters to a Church in Exile – Letter Two
Letter Number Two: Start Influencing the World. When we elect a president of the United States of America that has said publicly that no one religion has a corner on the truth and has shown this by his inclusion of the teachings from other world religions in his speeches then we have stopped influencing the world. Or when we allow the Dalai Lama to give the opening prayer at the U.S. Senate then we have stopped influencing the world. Or when most churches have now integrated the teachings of psychology into their biblical counseling then we have stopped influencing the world. Or when we have allowed our children to attend public schools that no longer teach creationism, stripped their walls of the Ten Commandments, and has kept our children from praying or sharing Christ publicly then we have stopped influencing the world. Tragically the world is now influencing the church. Jesus Christ summed it up by saying, ‘You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men” (Matthew 5:13) Our influence, our testimony is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men! Why, because we have lost our saltiness.
Letters to a Church in Exile
Letter One: This will be the first in a series of letters written to a church in exile. As the great apostle John was exiled to the island of Patmos in the first centuries of Christianity it’s my belief that the true church of God has also been exiled. Not simply to an island but exiled from significantly influencing the modern world. Evil is marching triumphantly across the world stage making its disciples and forcing the Church into submission or unfettered silence. Yet in the midst of this encroaching evil and the demise of classic Christianity one still hears the relentless cry of Holy Scripture that says its gospel will spread throughout the entire world then the end will come. Therein is the problem, if silenced by the captivity of worldliness and secularism then how can the gospel continue to spread where no one can say, “opportunity of life was not given them.” There are two major points of view where one says that there will be a great revival at the end of the age and another opposing view that says it will only get worse where true Christians are decimated by the coming beast and horrified by the worldwide judgments of God that reign down on fallen humanity. Of course in America there is a popular third option that says Christians living at the end will neither concern themselves with world evangelization nor suffer the fate of end time saints. On the other hand, these letters will explore the biblical mandate of surviving the end and spreading the true gospel to the ends of the earth.
Why is Life So Difficult?
My heart is grieved over how many people are hurting. I know that God’s heart must also be breaking when he hears the cries of His children. Although at first glance, one can easily blame many things for their struggles and anguish, such as a weak economy, lack of work, or circumstances beyond their control. However, once we take a closer look we soon discover that many of the problems they face are caused by other things not easily recognized or admitted. Before we unearth these causes, it’s necessary to realize that as God’s children His chief concern is the end result. That is, His chief desire beyond anything you experience in this life is to make you into a new creation where the barnacles of the old sin nature fall off and that one day you would stand before Him in heaven as a righteous person in Christ.
Standing Firm against Psychiatry’s Unholy Assault
Psychiatry and psychology have consistently asserted that people should be “salvaged” from the chains of religious upbringing and moral restraint. However, studies show positive moral and emotional benefits for those with religious faith. Churches and parishioners taking back control of their religions from psychiatry and psychology will accomplish the return to a morally and spiritually strong society. This week’s Watchdog Radio show guest is Rev. Daniel Blair who discusses how to stand firm against such psychiatric and psychological influences.
