To the Christians Living in America

This may be my last article. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” (II Timothy 4:7). It has been a beautiful journey watching Christ make me into a new creation one step at a time (II Corinthians 5:17). I would not trade this life for anything in the world. God is good all the time. I look forward to a new heaven and a new earth where I will be completely free from the old sin nature. I look forward to a time when Satan and the powers of darkness will no longer attack God’s precious children. I look forward to seeing all of my friends and family who have walked the path of righteousness and have followed Christ every moment of every day. What a glorious day that will be for all eternity. Satan’s Surreptitious Drive to Globalization

Someone who has grown up in the West, and specifically in America, with certain inalienable rights along with the freedom to prosper financially with hard work and determination, is likely to find this article difficult to read. Any person who has fond memories of public education that always started with the pledge of allegiance to one nation under God and a prayer to the Christian God recognized by all, will find it difficult.  A person who grew up in quieter times with front porches, friendly neighbors, and big Sunday meals with the whole family around the same table is discovering that those days are now far behind us. Although we had our occasional hooligan, bomb shelters, and the civil rights movement, generally it was the best of times when the rest of the world seemed distant. Except for a few diplomats and some far-flung missionaries, most only saw foreign countries as a nice place to visit. Well, in the past sixty years everything has changed, not all at once, but one step at a time where most didn’t recognize it. Some, now, are beginning to wake up and wonder how did we get here? Have we entered a different reality that is literally pulling itself apart or is this Satan’s surreptitious drive to globalization? Continue reading Satan’s Surreptitious Drive to Globalization

A Prayer for Ukraine

I have already written one prophecy as the invasion began into Ukraine and have prayed privately. Now, I believe God is opening a door to pray publicly for the people of Ukraine. I join the rest of the world in being heartbroken for all the people and especially for the children who are suffering. I lift my voice to heaven and ask our Heavenly Father to protect the innocent and especially His beloved children who have been caught up in this tragedy. We pray, Oh Lord, that you will not allow the invading armies to go any further than what’s been predetermined. If it’s only a land bridge that they seek from the Black Sea to Belarus, then stop them, Oh Lord, from proceeding any further. We pray that this horrific war will not harden the Ukrainian people but will cause them to humble themselves before you, the God of Creation. We pray, Oh Lord, that you will be quick to forgive their trespasses and deliver them from the grip of their enemy, both seen and unseen. We pray that you will allow the Ukrainian people to settle peacefully in the Western half of the country. We pray that you will mercifully protect them from any further incursions of the enemy. We pray, that their strong spirit will be a great light to every country in Europe that has mostly turned away from you. Allow the Ukrainian people to be our rear guard from all the Kings in the East. Finally, Oh Lord, we pray for a great blessing upon these people as they turn back to you in faith and obedience to all of your commandments. We humbly pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen Continue reading A Prayer for Ukraine

Listen to the Prophets

Some say there are no prophets today, while others say the gift of prophecy no longer exists. To listen to the prophets in any age will take a great deal of discernment. There have been false prophets from the beginning proclaiming things out of their own vain imagination. God and his elect prophets have always been very critical of these false prophets prophesying either what the people want to hear or their own made-up prophecies that always confuse the people. Any serious student of the Bible who is filled with the Holy Spirit knows full well that the gift of prophecy will not cease until the perfect One, Jesus Christ, comes to usher in His eternal Kingdom. I have taught for many years that there is no new prophecy other than what’s already in the Bible but that does not negate the fact that the Spirit can also give us a deeper insight into the written prophecy that already exists and direct us to apply it properly to the age in which we are living. We have a responsibility to adhere to the true prophets for every age from the First Century until now. As. God’s beloved children, we must listen to the prophets with great discernment. Trump’s Peace Plan for Israel

As the new President Elect Donald Trump is inaugurated in a few days will he eventually win the hearts and minds of all the people? Will he be the standard bearer for all the Western countries? And more importantly will he be able to bring peace to the nation of Israel? Yes, I believe he can and will if he succeeds in following through on his rhetoric of building the strongest and most feared military in the world along with nuclear superiority unmatched by any. He will not be dragged down by every little war on the planet as was the case with ancient Rome and previous administrations. Nor will he be bothered by meaningless Intelligence briefings in areas of little concern for his overall policy. On the other hand, he will give full latitude to such countries like Russia and Turkey to settle their own regional disputes over territory or religious differences in the Middle East. For too long now America has played and paid the part of the world policeman, at times pulling out when things got totally out of control thus gaining the disdain or hatred from the people we promised to help. I can assure you Mr. Trump will change this failed policy allowing him to keep the resources for the building up of this nation both militarily and economically. Furthermore, if his rhetoric holds true concerning rebuilding a nation teetering on excessive debt, crumbling infrastructure, mass (real) unemployment, and seriously lacking in industry then he will have all the resources he needs to exert his power upon the global stage, which is very important if he wants to bring peace to the nation of Israel.
