Nobody wants to think about when the world falls apart. Most will simply ignore this message as they have ignored most prophetic messages, while some will spin their own interpretation, while others will take it to heart seeking God’s guidance for the days ahead. I pray that you do the latter. The problem with today’s world, to use an old idiom, is that most are, “going from pillar to post.” They are always searching for the truth, most often in the wrong place, causing them to change what they believe multiple times and never arrive at the truth. They don’t know the truth about themselves or the world in which they live. So, when the world starts to fall apart, most won’t recognize it until it’s too late. Even if some recognize the decline and try to stop it, it will slip into total madness, because they don’t know the truth about how to stop it. The political establishment cannot stop the decline. The lukewarm church cannot stop the decline. Everything they do will end up in chaos. I hope to spare you of that, by convincing you that the world as we now know it has been falling apart for some time now and is gradually getting worse until it becomes unrecognizable. Finding Our Way in a World of Confusion
In the beginning, Christianity was called the Way because it showed those living in darkness how to find their way to the light. Unfortunately, we once again have lost our way as the whole world stumbles around in darkness with little power and no direction. Once again, we have become like little children seeking to learn the first principles of our faith. Instead of following the Way, new converts are congratulated for accepting Christ and then given a few do’s and don’ts, particularly about Church membership, but never shown the Way. They may even impress upon the new believers their need to speak calmly, not to lose their temper, and not curse. On the outside, they learn well how to act like Christians as they become experts at hiding their true intentions, their anger, their frustration, and even their lack of faith. They think that they are following the Way, but they are still in darkness. As a result, the Church keeps dividing with every new doctrine re-discovered or highlighted by self-righteous man. They say, “Come over here for I have found the way,” and the church is divided once again. The Third Step to Transformation in Christ is Love (Video)
We have seen in the last article in the series transformation in Christ that understanding and using our unique Spiritual gifts was the second step. Now as God’s Word says, “But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way” (I Corinthians 12:31). Of course, that most excellent way is both a Spiritual gift and a fruit of the Spirit, which I am calling our third step to transformation in Christ. The Third Step to Transformation in Christ is Love
We have seen in the last article in the series transformation in Christ that understanding and using our unique Spiritual gifts was the second step. Now as God’s Word says, “But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way” (I Corinthians 12:31). Of course, that most excellent way is both a Spiritual gift and a fruit of the Spirit, which I am calling our third step to transformation in Christ. This is the gift that opens the floodgates of Heaven because true love comes from God. Let’s be clear right in the beginning, we cannot conjure up this love. It either comes from God or it’s not true love. God is Love. His greatest desire is to love His creation. In fact, the miracle is He chooses to love others through us. We simply cannot out love God. Do you really want to feel God’s love then allow His love to flow through you to others? This is your next step to transformation in Christ.
