Silence in Heaven

When heaven goes silent let the whole world take notice. Let God’s elect children press on with the beautiful memories that changed their lives forever. With every memory, it will be like a blessing, that solidifies their abiding trust in God. With every memory, the joy leaps within their hearts as peace fills the empty holes left by those who have passed on before them. They have learned how to cherish the silence, remembering the still small voice from God that they had heard so loudly in the depths of their hearts. It had been prophesied more than two thousand years ago that heaven would go silent briefly just before the end, as the seventh seal, the seventh trumpet, and the seventh bowl of God’s wrath simultaneously brings the world to an end. For many, this will be a frightful silence bringing forth the consummation of all things. It is the Lamb of God who opened the seventh seal as each event of the seals, trumpets, and bowls of God’s wrath unfolded simultaneously growing worse through each age from the resurrection of Christ to His return in glory to catch up all of His elect children. Let’s not lockup the encouraging truth in the Book of Revelation needed for each age.

Although the silence will be very brief, it will seem like only a half hour when completed. The Alpha and the Omega is present in every time from beginning to end preparing God’s faithful children for this momentous event when time, from an earthly perspective, will be no more. So, what is happening during this time when heaven is silent? There is a great offering filled with much incense along with the prayers from all the saints cast upon the golden altar before the throne of God. Even during this time of silence from heaven, the prayers from all God’s beloved children rise to heaven as a final offering which returned to earth as peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake (Revelation 8:2-5) to usher in the end. Heaven may be silent, but every prayer from the saints of God will continue to have a powerful impact upon fallen humanity and those who have strayed from the path of righteousness. One of the most important things we can do during the tribulation is to pray earnestly for every soul, especially for those who struggle with unrighteousness. There is great power in prayer to convict, to heal, and to lead God’s elect children to repent.

We must be great encouragers when heaven appears silent among many of God’s children, for this will be a great time of struggle when all they hear is the many conspiracy theories and contradicting voices from the world. We must encourage them to remember the truth, which will be like a bright light overcoming the darkness in their souls. Only the truth will set them free from the shackles of the enemy who has taken them captive by filling the entire world with his lies. Although the great days of shouting the uncensored truth from the world’s many platforms and in the many assembled churches are quickly passing away, nothing should stop us from whispering the truth into the ears of humanity. Nothing should stop us from praying for each soul that we encounter. Nothing should stop us from demonstrating our self-giving love to others. Nothing should stop us from letting our light shine forth with great joy bursting forth from our hearts. Nothing can stop us from turning the other cheek and going the extra mile. Nothing can stop us from trying to release the captives from their prison of immorality sanctioned by the fallen world. Let us press on with the belief that our prayers will not go unheard as they are added to the incense and cast upon the throne in heaven. There is great power in prayer.

With the dawning of every new day all of God’s elect children, from around the world, will meet with the Alpha and the Omega allowing Him to resurrect the many beautiful memories of walking with Him every moment of every day. These precious memories will carry us through the darkest of days. We must not allow the ugliness and foulness of the world to pull us down into the pit of despair. We must not allow the meanness of others to resurrect thoughts of revenge or harbor feelings of unforgiveness. We must not allow the many lies and conspiracy theories to lead us down a very dark and dangerous path, which will drive us further away from the truth. It’s only the truth that will keep us strong and free from the lies of the enemy. The truth has not changed. The truth is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. The moment we start adding senseless doctrine to our beliefs, then it dilutes the truth. The truth must always start with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ who pathed the way to a brand-new life in Him. Some have gotten so far afield with all their beliefs that they have forgotten the simple truth about our transformation in Christ.

Even in the darkest days when heaven seems silent, we must continue our transformation in Christ, or we will slip deeper into the abyss of immortality. The deeper we slip into immortality the more we become slaves of the devil leading us to the altar of the Antichrist. The only way we can truly stop the descent into immorality is to continue our transformation in Christ. Unfortunately, many believe they can control or limit their immorality to acceptable limits being satisfied with their Christianity. They will loudly protest that they are not so bad and that no one better judge them. They have become comfortable in their beliefs and have no desire to press on to their higher calling in Christ Jesus. The Bible describes these souls as lukewarm Christians. Jesus Christ, the Alpha and the Omega, counsels them to put off the old, tarnished life, and put on the new garments of a life that is being transformed in Christ. Then He says, “Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent” (Revelation 3:19). The Lamb of God has not forgotten His lukewarm children destined for a life of misery and even the possibility of expulsion from paradise, so He will reprove and discipline them hoping that they will be zealous and repent. Let us continue our prayers for every soul but especially for God’s lukewarm children who are missing out on the glories of their new life in Christ.

We will know with all assurance that we are on the path of transformation when we readily observe the old life of immortality falling off and the new life in Christ being put on day by day. Transformation is a process, which continues every day of our lives. This is not learning how to play church or learning a new sacred doctrine every day. It is not being controlled by our timepieces, technology, and scientific discovery. Transformation is walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ every moment of every day. This is accomplished by keeping in step with the Spirit. The Bible says, “If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25).  When we keep in step with the Spirit then we will produce the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law (see Galatians 5:22-23, ESV). We must ask ourselves; can we observe this Spiritual fruit in our lives? Step by step the Spiritual fruit will grow more robust being displayed in every moment of our lives touching those around us in a very powerful way. Although heaven may appear to go silent for many as we approach the end, they must not let it stop their transformation in Christ that will observe the richest blessings and the most glorious miracles this side of heaven. When heaven goes silent the world will tremble, but God’s children will rejoice that they can feel His presence in the midst of the silence. All glory to God.

The Gospel Presentation

We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, which explains the many difficulties that you are currently facing in your life. Well, I have good news, God has solved that problem by sending His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who was born of a virgin to show us the way to a beautiful new life in Christ. God has dealt with all of our sins past, present, and future by having His son pay the debt for our sins. Jesus Christ willingly went to the Cross in our stead by allowing all of the world’s sins to be placed upon Him as a sacrificial Lamb. As Christ hung on the Cross, the wrath of God was poured out on Him to pay the penalty for our sins. Jesus Christ died on the Cross and was buried for three days. On the third day, Christ arose from death to life everlasting. The good news is if we believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, then we will be forgiven for all of our sins and receive the Holy Spirit. The Spirit will lead us into all truth helping us in the transformation process of putting off the old life, allowing the old sin nature to die with Christ, and then putting on our new life in Christ by being raised with Christ to everlasting life. You can accept Christ today by confessing your sins to Him through a simple prayer asking Him to forgive you and make you into a new creation filled with the Holy Spirit. If you have done that, then you have just begun the greatest journey of your life that leads to heaven and eternal life. Welcome to the Kingdom.

The Sins of the Mind

In my last two articles, we discussed rising above the white noise and the darkness covering the entire planet. Today we will go much deeper by examining the sins of the mind that no one can see. They are so well hidden in the mind, if they are not properly dealt with, then they will become your undoing as Satan leads you through the gates of hell without you ever noticing it. As God’s children, we must recognize the sins of the mind so that we can overcome them. Most every true believer in Christ recognizes the outward sins of what we do and what we say. However, very few recognize the sins of the mind, which encompasses every thought and every imagination. The Bible makes it abundantly clear that every unrighteous thought and vain imagination can be seen as committing the trespass in our hearts. We will be held accountable for every unrighteous thought and every vain imagination not dealt with properly. That is, they must be cast out of our minds immediately, less than a nanosecond. This will take a lot of hard work observing every thought or imagination, deciding instantly if it’s evil, and then successfully casting it out, if necessary, again and again. The good news is that we can trust in God’s grace to be with us every step of the way, ready to forgive every trespass after we have cried out to Him in true repentance. Now, let’s look closely at the sins of the mind most often overlooked to our own detriment.

These sins of the mind can not only damage our relationship with God, but they can also cause a multitude of emotional and psychological problems, along with physical maladies in certain cases. Let’s start with the more obvious sins of the mind, then we will look at those not-so-obvious and extremely dangerous to our well-being. The more obvious sins of the mind commit the trespass in our minds by visualizing it in every detail. Jesus said, “But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart” (Matthew 5:28). Clearly, this is also applicable to women lusting after men. Lust is actualized from undressing the other to committing the sexual act, and everything in between. The vain imagination could carry the mind even further away with no limit to the imagination. This template could be used for every imaginable sin from beating someone up in our mind to plotting how to get revenge, from destroying their good name to any other number of vicious scenarios. We will be held accountable for every trespass imagined in the mind that would violate one of God’s Holy Commandments. The list could go on, but you get the picture.

Our God of creation gave humanity a wonderful gift of the mind to think complex thoughts and use our imagination to only glorify God. Sadly, however, many use their wonderful imagination to create fantasies to gratify their own selfish longings instead of using them to glorify God. Their imagination takes them well beyond the created order of things and God’s loving providence to entertaining vain imaginations that can easily lead them into every manner of sin. These vain imaginations can imagine such things as becoming so rich and powerful that they can spend countless hours imagining how they will spend their money. Their vain imagination can believe they will make the greatest discovery or become the most renowned person in history by fixing ailing humanity and making the world great again. For many years now, movies have helped humanity to expand their imagination by embracing futuristic ideas and creating every new storyline or fantasy imaginable. Some people have vainly imagined that they have had the most unbelievable spiritual or even out-of-body experiences and that they have heard God continually sharing things that are well beyond accepted Biblical doctrine. Dear children, vain imaginations in the mind, especially about spirituality, are very dangerous and can open the doors to Satan and his horrific powers of darkness. There is no limit to the imagination circumventing the will of God and his divine providence for our lives. Remember, there was a time when the entire world was destroyed by the flood, because of their vain imaginations (Genesis 6:5-8. Vain imagination is clearly a sin of the mind.

Our God of creation gave humanity the amazing gift of memory. Humanity can remember every detail of past events either bringing great joy or horrific devastation to their hearts. I have always said that our God is the greatest psychologist because He created us and knows everything about our mind and how it works. Bad memories can cause devastating problems, both emotionally and psychologically. Bad memories can be caused by many things but primarily from being wronged by others, real or unreal. Typically, when this happens humanity dwells on this bad memory causing it to grow exponentially. Also, when they tell others to get their sympathy the bad memory grows even more horrible. These bad memories can cause untold psychological problems that can stay with them for years. It is not uncommon for a person dwelling on a bad memory for many years to allow the slightest similar transgression from another person to cause them to relive the trauma of the bad memory as if it had just happened. These people suffer greatly because of their bad memories because they refuse to follow God’s counsel on how to get rid of these bad memories. How tragic that many believers turn to the world for a remedy through a lifetime of psychotropic drugs and endless counseling.

The Bible says, “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 6:14-15). This is beautiful counsel from the throne of God. Bad memories can be erased by forgiving others as God forgives us. If we truly forgive others from the heart, then God will not only forgive us, but He will become our advocate against the evil-doer. Remember, God said, vengeance is mine, saith the lord (Romans 12:19). To forget means that we can no longer dwell on the trespass against us. We can no longer tell others to gain their sympathy. This also disqualifies group therapies that keep the trespass alive. Once we have turned it over to God, and the authorities if necessary, then we will have put ourselves in a position to forget. You will treat this bad memory like any other sin that the devil wants you to dwell on by bringing it up to your memory again and again. We must overcome this by casting out the memories immediately. Satan and the spirit of Antichrist are destroying the minds of fallen humanity allowing them to suffer the consequences of their sins by experiencing every emotional and psychological problem imaginable. We must resist the devil. The Bible says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).

I hope you are beginning to see that correct thinking is very important for our well-being. The good news is that God has given us the power to overcome every thought or memory that enters our minds. Yes, casting out the evil thought, the vain imagination, and the bad memories are essential but to truly overcome we must learn how to immediately replace the bad with the good. The Bible is replete with examples of replacing evil with the good. Study Ephesians 4:17-32, which talks about putting off the old life and putting on the new life. These are great examples that can be applied to every area of life. When you cast out an evil thought or memory replace it immediately with a righteous thought or a good memory. Memorize Philippians 4:8 that gives us a list of righteous thoughts and a way to prove our good memories. Dear children, as we approach the end, remember that God will hold us accountable for every evil thought, bad memory, and vain imagination. So, let us stand firm by thinking only righteous thoughts and rejoicing in good memories. Moreover, to be free from bad memories and vain imaginations will allow you to be completely transformed in Christ Jesus experiencing the ecstasy of heavenly bliss. It will allow you through faith to experience God’s amazing love flowing through you to others. Please dear children control what you think about in your minds, it is the doorway to everlasting joy and a peace that defies understanding.

When Does Lying Become Lying Deception

Most people have told a little white lie and not thought too much about it because it was a slight exaggeration of the facts. While others have told an outrageous lie to conceal the entire truth. Well, dear children, no matter the size, either a little white lie or an outrageous lie, to God it is still a lie and a sin. And every sin has its consequences (Galatians 6:7). Today, I would like to speak to you about when lying becomes lying deception, typically a sin orchestrated by the powers of darkness. This is a sin so grievous in the sight of God that it will receive the same punishment as the devil and his powers of darkness. It is essential that we learn what lying deception is or what it means, so we don’t fall into this horrific sin against our holy God. We need to learn when lying becomes lying deception putting us in league with the devil. Sadly this explanation will shock a lot of God’s children never realizing that their lies have become lying deception putting them in a very dangerous position with God. It will put them in a position to reap the full unmeasured consequences of their sin. Continue reading When Does Lying Become Lying Deception

Humanity is Losing Its Mind

Why does it appear that humanity is losing its mind and ability to function? For those who have eyes to see, this is very scary. We have all seen the little signs with people repeating themselves or telling the same stories over and over again. We have seen seemingly intelligent people all of sudden act like little children. We have seen the confusion and the word salads from our leaders. Even more disturbing is the anger, the bashing of one another, and the outrageous lies. We have also seen people make terrible decisions often based on an immediate desire while ignoring its future impact. We have seen many so-called improvements or updates go from bad to worse leaving many scratching their heads. Anxiety and stress among the world’s population have increased dramatically with people doing the most insane things or withdrawing completely from society. The suicide rate has increased exponentially. As divisions among the population continue unabated it’s destroying the very fabric of society that binds us together. As humanity grows more godless it no longer questions the rising tide of gross immorality and the unbelievable lawlessness that has gripped the world. It’s like the entire world is sitting on a time bomb while most of humanity is completely oblivious to what’s happening. Continue reading Humanity is Losing Its Mind

We Were Created in Love

What an amazing truth that all of creation was created in love. Every life form from the animal kingdom to the crown of His creation, humanity, was created in love. We were created to love God, our Creator, and to love one another. This was the perfect world before Satan entered the scene and led humanity to sin against God, their Creator (Genesis 3:1-24). Can you only imagine what it was like to see the entire world loving one another with no hate or malice? Can you imagine the entire world, including the animal kingdom loving their Creator, God? When mankind turned away from God taking all of God’s creation with them they lost true agape love. What a horrible day that was for the entire world. Instantly, with the introduction of sin, we lost our capacity to love. We lost our ability to truly love others more than we love ourselves. God sent His only begotten Son to show us the Way back, but we hung Him on a Cross. That way given to us by Jesus is still valid. It’s still accessible to all those who step out in faith believing that all things can be made new again in love. In true agape love, we can touch heavenly bliss rising above all the hate and confusion in the fallen world. Continue reading We Were Created in Love
