Daniels Blog – Celebrating 22 Years of Online Ministry

After many years in the pastoral ministry that required personal one on one discipleship, door to door evangelism, preaching, teaching, and counseling, it was a tremendous change to minister to a faceless audience in an online ministry, which took time to develop long-distance relationships. Back in 1998, the worldwide web was still in its infancy, and building a website was not the easiest task. I still have fond memories of my wife and I visiting an internet provider owned and operated by my oldest son, Jonathan. He had his full-time programmer1998 Website help me build my first website from scratch with no pre-made templates or WordPress. But how does one have a presence on the worldwide web? Google was a big help in those early days when they were still relatively new. We grew together on how to make one’s website easily searchable for as many people as possible, trying one promotional idea after another. In the beginning, our online ministry mainly consisted of writing blog articles, which was an easy task for I had spent many years writing out all of my weekly sermons as a fulltime pastor. Many of these old sermons found their way into my new website with an eagerness to reach the world for Christ.

Next came our online bookstore featuring all of my books, Final Warning, Stand Firm, Revelation Truth, and Guiding Principles for Biblical Counseling. Although I was selling books in the bookstores, and online through Google and Amazon, it was a thrill to offer my books directly to God’s children allowing me to write personal messages to those making purchases. Then, some brave people came up with an idea of recording their message and making it into a Podcast, and with the help of some other websites and organizations, this idea soon became a reality. My first venture was posting a weekly Podcast called “Final Warning” with Apple’s iTunes. In time we were able to play these Podcasts directly from our website using an mp3 format. These were exciting times, letting our voices be carried around the world proclaiming the message of Jesus Christ. It was not long before the weekly Podcast was not so popular with the introduction of online videos through Google’s YouTube Videos. So, we started making videos for our new channel, Revelation Truth, from our current articles directed toward what we would later refer to as the faithful remnant. Of course, these videos could also, in time, be viewed directly from our website. This new ministry of making videos became very popular with our online followers.

While in the pastoral ministry, I always had the heart to help hurting people by way of Biblical counseling, which opened another new avenue of allowing people to write in through the website contact form to receive needed counseling. In time this new venture led us to start another website to help those who struggle daily with emotional and psychological problems, along with fierce attacks from the enemy. Many of these precious believers did not have a clear understanding of God’s promise to make them into a brand-new creation in Christ, where old things truly pass away. We prayed and counseled for all those who came our way. Let me encourage you to take a moment and visit our other website: “CAPA-Christians Against Psychiatric Abuse” at https://www.allcapa.org This ministry of personally praying and counseling our website visitors eventually led me to write out all of my daily prayers and post them on both websites, which I have done for the past three years. The Daily Devotion has been such a tremendous blessing to us as we lead God’s beloved children in prayer strengthening them to stand firm while they continue to grow up in Christ.

With the help of some very talented and gifted vocalists, we started another channel at YouTube called Tribulation Radio, where we added music, prayers, and commentaries to our messages developing wonderfully inspired videos to the glory of God, which also appear on our website. To give God’s children news from a godly perspective we currently podcast a News Brief and a relevant prayer as God directs. We also podcast reading of the entire book of Revelation in a beautiful theatrical presentation for our online visitors. Well, it was not long before we decided to stream our own internet Radio 24/7, which of course, we called, Tribulation Radio, direct from our website. TribulationTribulation Radio Radio is meant to encourage the faithful remnant living in the Last Days by allowing them to listen to encouraging Christian Music, and relevant messages to help them to stand firm in a turbulent world. Don’t miss our Old Time Gospel Hour and Music for Prayer and Meditation. Yes, these have been some very exciting times working with many different people from around the world making this truly a worldwide ministry. Come and discover all the things we offer to help God’s elect children become all that He wants them to be. This has been a wonderful journey with many beloved saints helping us make Daniels Blog what it is today. We have been “Proclaiming Revelation Truth Since 1998.” So, please help us to celebrate our 22 years of our online ministry, this month. God bless you all.

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 7/12/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, for some time now we have felt that the Antichrist spirit is growing stronger in our day. It’s an oppressive spirit that’s blinding many of your little children that only believe in the first tenants of our faith and have not yet grown up in Christ. They are the ones who are tossed about by every wind of doctrine, chasing after one conspiracy theory and then another. They have been purposely blinded by the god of this world and spend most of their time paying you lip service, but their hearts are far from you. As they slip further into the darkness, they have lashed out at other believers for not being sympathetic to their self-imposed dilemma. We pray for these little children to grow up in Christ. We pray that they will be reminded that through their initial commitment to you as Lord that they have already overcome the Antichrist spirit that’s in the world and they no longer need to succumb to it, for He who is in them is truly greater than the one who is in the world. We pray this in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (I John 4:4).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 7/11/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter into our prayer closet daily, we behold your magnificent glory through the indwelling Spirit. Yes, somehow the veil is taken away as we come into your presence. Even if we no longer write one word about our experience, we will continue to come daily and even hourly. As we come before you, we recognize that you alone, through the indwelling Spirit, is changing us, transforming us from one degree of glory to another. Every day we learn more things from your anointed Word as the indwelling Spirit helps us to put those truths into our lives, one step at a time. The learning never stops, the application of your Word in our lives never stops, the spiritual growth never stops, as you miraculously transform our lives from one degree of glory to another. Hallelujah! We pray that all of your beloved children will learn how essential it is to grow, to change, and to be transformed every day. We know from experience, if we are not growing then it’s very easy to slip back into darkness. Help us to keep growing. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit” (II Corinthians 3:18).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 7/10/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank Lord for all of your great and wonderful promises. Thank you, Jesus, for your promise to never leave us or forsake us, especially in a world that’s experiencing so much tragedy. Thank you, Lord, for your promise to make us into a new creation where we have happily witnessed the old life passing away and our new life in Christ becoming a reality. Thank you, Son of God, for your beautiful anointed words in the Bible that truly gives us everything we need for life and godliness. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for giving us the promised Holy Spirit to dwell in our lives helping us to become all that you want us to be in Christ. You are keeping all of your promises in the life of your beloved children, all who believe. Without the hope of you, fulfilling your promises in our lives, it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to stand firm, which has already caused many to fall away. We pray that you will help your beloved children to believe and trust in all of your promises. We pray this in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition” (II Thessalonians 2:3).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 7/9/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. We come humbly before your throne of grace this morning waiting in silence, solitude, and listening. We wait patiently for you, Oh Lord, to lead us in our prayers as you so miraculously fill us with your Spirit, filling up a fiber of our being. We present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to you. When we do the fog is lifted and we can see clearly your divine will for our lives. In the midst of all the turmoil, the lies, and the darkness we will let our light shine. Our light will shine brightly by loving others through our acts of kindness, encouragement, and only speaking the truth in love. We pray that you will shield us from all the deceptive lies in the world that are destroying your beloved children. We pray that you will teach all of your children how to recognize the evil put forth by the powers of darkness and immediately turn away from it, and not share it, or speak of it. Please open their understanding that by speaking of it constantly and sharing it will only cause the evil to grow exponentially. We pray that we will not be used as instruments of the evil one. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 7/8/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, every day the world seems like it’s growing crazier, that is, people are doing more things that shock our sensibilities. At times it feels like we live in some kind of Twilight zone. Most people seem fascinated with the past of others through the publication of books and memoirs but on the other hand, they want to erase history by tearing down all statues. Has COVID-19, the lockdown, face mask, and politicians caused us all to go a bit insane, or is it something much more sinister. Could it be that most people simply don’t want to recognize their sins on the one hand and the unyielding consequences on the other? They simply don’t want to recognize that your wrath is revealed against all unrighteousness. People are reaping what they have sown sending many to the counselor’s office or to a life of lawlessness as they unhappily observe their lives deteriorate right before their eyes, going from bad to worse. We pray that people will stop and realize that you see everything, every bad decision, every broken promise, and every lie. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 7/7/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, we have great empathy and compassion for all the people because of this renewed lockdown and the extended requirement for wearing a mask. Many of them are hurting so much that they are breaking out of their captivity for any reason, even if it leads to lawlessness and anarchy. It’s not just about social justice! We pray that your beloved children will reach out to these hurting people in love through whatever means are at their disposal to tell them of a better Way. Let them speak about a peace that defies understanding. Let them speak of the tremendous joy of meeting their Creator. Let them speak of your wonderful forgiveness that opens up a brand-new life that’s free from the old emotional and psychological struggles. Let them speak about the power to say no to drugs, lawlessness, and everything else that pulls them down. Finally, let them speak of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ by believing in you alone, truly the power of salvation. We know that most are hurting and just acting out; what they need is you! We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 7/6/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we bend our ears to hear you this morning we wait patiently in silence and solitude. We truly want to hear what you have to say about the world and more specifically what you have to say about your children. We know, Oh Lord, that there are many things in the world from the news media to the social media that seek to drown out your still small voice, so we are listening to you alone. Yes, we can see it. A greater disaster is coming that will silence everyone making our current problems appear insignificant as the entire world unites behind the man of lawlessness; the one who will promise to transform the world. We pray that we will not chase after every little problem like it’s the end of the world but to spend all of our time teaching others about the kingdom of God and how to walk daily in the Spirit. Let us spend our time loving one another instead of scolding them for not believing as we do. Rather, help us to focus on our Spiritual growth. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” (Romans 14:17).

Book of Prayers Daniel Blair-SmallFREE eBook

From the Introduction

As the author of these prayers, I have simply been the scribe. I had the privilege to sit at the Master’s feet every morning while in the Spirit allowing Him to dictate the needs and the direction of the faithful remnant living during these perilous times. These prayers are built on one another, as you progress throughout the year you will discover that they are woven together like a divine tapestry, with one eye on world events and the other on the sacred texts of God’s Word. These prayers came from my prayer closet guided by select biblical text, all 127 commands found in the New Testament, and many of the “one-another” Statements. These are prayers to strengthen your walk of faith in a hostile world.

The eBook is absolutely FREE, but donations are welcome to help defer the cost of our ministries.

Daily Devotion

Listed below is today’s Prayer by Rev. Daniel W. Blair.

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 7/13/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. We feel quite strongly in our spirit that things in the near future will not be as we would imagine or even as they currently appear. However, there is one thing that we do know for sure, that we must not lose contact with other believers in Christ. It will be very important that we stay in contact so that we can support one another. We also know that it cannot be through a trackable source like social media and cellphones. We pray that you will guide your faithful remnant to a secure means for staying in contact with one another. Oh Lord, teach your children how to properly care for others. Help us stay focused on loving and serving one another instead of being consumed with what’s happening in the world, which is the enemy’s design. For we do know that the god of this world is leading all of his followers around by the nose keeping them busy with non-essential and meaningless activity. We pray that we are only led by you our Lord and Savior. We are your faithful remnant. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2).
