When the World Stops Listening

They say the mind can take only so much and then it stops listening. Some are calling it overload, while others are calling it selective hearing.  Whatever it is, it appears that the whole world has stopped listening. They have turned away from the ancient religions and are embracing a new future that promises many unbelievable advances in technology. These changes promise to enhance humanity’s ability to experience a deeper understanding of the entire universe and their unique place in it. These changes promise to give them a fulfilled life where the whole world will come together as one in peace and tranquility. These changes promise to open the door to a new reality where anything is possible from communicating with the animal kingdom to utilizing artificial intelligence to enhance their abilities. Nothing seems impossible to a world that has jettisoned classic Christianity for a brave new world. Although many will continue to play church, they no longer trust in God for their future, and they no longer trust in religion to chart their path ahead. They have joined the lukewarm church and no longer listen to God exclusively.

We live in a world that no longer wants to hear the deep things about the risen Christ and His miraculous work through the indwelling Spirit. They no longer want to hear about our need for Spiritual growth by putting off the old life and putting on the new life in Christ. They no longer want to hear that we have been given everything we need for life and godliness, which would cause them to reject most of humanity’s self helps. They no longer want to hear about God’s loving providence, even if we must faithfully endure trials and tribulations. The world has stopped listening because they have either rejected Christianity altogether or they have grown comfortable with the lukewarm church. It’s a sad state of affairs when we equate the rejection of Christianity with the lukewarm church but unfortunately, that’s exactly where Satan has led the modern church. The modern church has aggressively accepted all the new teachings from the world causing them to turn a deaf ear to the eternal truths passed on to us by our forefathers. So, let’s take a closer look at these unchanging truths that must be embraced by every true believer in Christ and truths that must be tirelessly proclaimed from the pulpit of their churches.

The true Church of God embraces the power and miraculous work of the Holy Spirit (John 6:4-15; I Corinthians 12:1-31). Without the power of the Holy Spirit, we will never be all that God wants us to be in Christ. Without the miraculous work of the Holy Spirit, the church will become stagnant in its growth and not be that bright shining light on a hill. The good news is this power of the Holy Spirit is immediately available to every believer who is called into the Kingdom. There is no waiting for those who believe and know in their hearts that they have been called. The Spirit is our Helper in all things from Spiritual growth to understanding and using our Spiritual gifts for the furtherance of God’s Kingdom here on earth. We have all been given Spiritual gifts not based on our natural abilities but on our call into the eternal Kingdom. Furthermore, the Spirit stays with us every moment of every day as our new Holy Resident. He always guides us and directs us along life’s narrow path experiencing one miracle after another that’s only fully realized as we mature in Christ. Every true Church embraces the power and miraculous work of the Holy Spirit.

The true Church of God embraces the absolute need for Spiritual growth from one degree of glory to another (II Corinthians 3:18). Spiritual growth is not about learning empty doctrines and endless rituals or memorizing the entire Bible from cover to cover. On the other hand, it is working closely with the indwelling Spirit by receiving His convictions and following His prompting even if it’s extremely uncomfortable. Reading slowly and methodically Holy Scripture allows it to penetrate deep within our own hearts bringing forth remorse, confession, and repentance, thus putting off the old life of sin and putting on the new life in Christ. In the beginning, you will not read far before the tears of remorse flow down your cheeks leading you to cry out to the Lord in confession, agreeing to turn from your sin and never repeat it. In the place of the old life, we discover the new life, which must be put into place immediately, which takes great faith. Although putting on the new life in Christ may seem uncomfortable and quite awkward, in time through the power of the indwelling Spirit you will blossom with joy and a peace that defies understanding. The true believer doesn’t look to grow only once a week by listening to Spirit-filled preaching, but they grow Spiritually every day by reading Holy Scripture and listening to the indwelling Spirit. Every true Church embraces the absolute need for Spiritual growth.

The true Church of God embraces the sufficiency of Holy Scripture for all of life and godliness (II Peter 1:3). The Bible says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (II Corinthians 5:17). This is a beautiful truth that all the old hang-ups and besetting sins we had before Christ no longer have a hold on us. We have been set free to grow up Spiritually in Christ to become a beautiful new creation. We have not been left alone but have the indwelling Spirit, our Helper, and the Holy Scripture that gives us everything we need for life and godliness (II Peter 1:3). All those old emotional and psychological problems no longer have a hold on the new person in Christ. God promises to give us the solution for every problem facing humanity. As true believers in Christ, we no longer need the world’s counselors or psychotropic drugs to overcome our problems. As true believers in Christ, we no longer trust fallen humanity to solve our many emotional and psychological problems, but we trust God, who created us and knows everything about us. We have learned how to bring our problems directly to God in deep prayer and meditation believing that He will solve every problem in His time. As the true Church of God, we embrace the sufficiency of Holy Scripture.

The true Church of God embraces God’s loving providence (Romans 8:28). As we grow up Spiritually every day trusting in God for all of life and godliness, we are still left temporarily in the fallen world controlled by the powers of darkness. Although the powers of darkness will use our trials and tribulations to cause us to stumble, God will always turn things around and use them for our eternal benefit if we maintain our trust in His loving providence. The Bible says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). It is a marvelous thing to trust in God to work all things together for good. For when we have eyes to see we will witness one miracle after another as God defeats the enemy of our souls and uses the trials and tribulations to strengthen our faith in Christ. As we mature in Christ we will learn to rejoice in trials and tribulations knowing that they are used for the perfecting of our faith (James 1:2-4). The lukewarm church is being destroyed by the many trials and tribulations of the last days, whereas the true Church of God embraces God’s loving providence.

Finally, the true Church of God embraces the exclusiveness of Christianity (John 14:6). We know that Christ is the only way to salvation, so we behave accordingly. Many claim to know the truth that Christ is the only way, but then they do their godless research for every little problem that comes into their lives. They freely associate with other religions, oftentimes seeking their advice about life and godliness. They have no problem seeking advice from the world or fallen humanity to understand the deeper truths about spirituality or the supernatural. They have no problem joining with those who practice inclusiveness, going so far as to say all paths lead to heaven. In conclusion, it’s past time for all of God’s precious children to either reform the church they attend or start a new fellowship that only preaches the truth. There is a reckoning coming very soon that will truly separate the sheep from the goats. I pray that all those who claim Jesus Christ as their Savior will be ready to defend their faith or be swept away by the teachings of the lukewarm church and the powers of darkness. The choice is yours.

Please Join Me in Prayer

Good morning Heavenly Father. You know Lord, that the battle rages on for your beloved children as we struggle against an unjust world seeking to mold us into its image. From the politicians who enact new laws to the judges who enforce them, and to their counselors who justify them, we are led into further captivity and away from your gracious promises of a new life in Christ. We cry out to you, our God, day and night for your mercy and grace to stand firm against our adversaries so that in time all your beautiful promises can be fulfilled in our lives. We long to experience the new life in Christ free from the haunting memories of our past failures. We long to experience total perfection free from the sinful habits of our old sin nature. We long to experience all your beautiful and powerful promises fulfilled in our lives. We continue to cry out day and night in prayer believing that you will, that you are, fulfilling all your wonderful promises. We will continue to fight the good fight of faith until we walk with you in paradise. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?” (Luke 18:7).

Grasping the Benefits of Christ

If the human race really grasped the benefits of Christ everything around us would immediately change. We have had many people, some no doubt wiser than myself, try to explain the grandeur and majesty of these benefits. There have been hundreds, perhaps thousands, of pages written by some of our most ardent Christian scholars to plummet the depths of this most profound mystery. I dare say, over the centuries, there have only been very few in each age that has truly understood the great mysteries and benefits of Christ. These are bright lights shining in the darkness. These are the ones who have touched the very essence of Christianity through the indwelling Holy Spirit. These are the ones who have sat long at the Savior’s feet waiting for Him to open their minds to His abiding presence. They have waited patiently to understand the glorious benefits of being in Christ, to experience the great joy, and peace that truly defies understanding. As we fast approach the end it’s essential that we fully grasp the benefits of Christ. Let me encourage you to fully grasp the benefits of Christ and not settle for what can be seen on YouTube or social media. Please don’t settle for what the lukewarm church is offering.

As we embark on this journey together, we must jettison all the worry, all the fear, and all the busyness that has kept us so occupied. We must cast out all the vain imaginations, and thoughts that can enslave us to the powers of darkness. We must clear our minds of every idle thought. We must block out every little noise and distraction. We must prepare ourselves for the Master’s use. This is a very important step in a world that has gone mad, throwing information at us at the speed of light, as we are continuously being dragged into deeper bondage of exhaustion going from one thing to another. Stop! Clear your mind and your insidious schedule. Prepare yourself to meet the Lord who wishes to walk with you and talk with you along life’s narrow way. This cannot just be a chance encounter or only a one-time encounter. This wants to be a lifelong encounter, a lifelong experience of walking with Christ, a true Friend. 1 Only after we have walked and talked with Christ will we truly understand the benefits of Christ. The Bible, perhaps for the first time in your life will come alive as if the words are flying off the page into your tormented souls.

Now, let’s back up a minute. If you have not stepped out in faith believing the Gospel message, then you have not yet experienced the power of salvation. 2 So, let’s assume for a moment that this great power has not reached your heart and that you are still dead in your trespasses. 3 If that’s the case, then all that we have spoken about thus far makes little sense. There is great power in the Gospel that opens the window to a brand-new life in Christ. Before Christ, you were spiritually dead being tossed about by every wind of doctrine needing the world’s help to solve your mounting problems.4 God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to teach us about His love and literally take our place on the Cross to pay the penalty for our trespasses. These are the same trespasses that separated us from God causing us to die spiritually. When we believe that Christ died for us on the Cross and the third day was raised from the dead to give us a new life, then it opened the door to salvation. When we pick up our cross through faith, die to self, and follow Christ in His resurrection, we will be a new creation in Christ.5Although this is a beautiful first step, many never go any further to experience the true benefits of Christ. So, let’s press on and look closely at the true benefits of Christ.

I have already mentioned that Jesus Christ wants to be our lifelong friend. He wants to be a very close friend, every moment of every day even while you are working, eating, and socializing with others. If you close out Christ during these times, then you will have missed the true benefits of Christ. Jesus is with you every moment, or He is not with you at all. Pause, and think about that for a moment before we proceed. The Bible says that we are in Christ.6 It also says that Christ and the Father are in us.7 Furthermore, we also have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us as the seal of our salvation, the Teacher, and the dispenser of Spiritual gifts. 8 Wow! We can never speak about loneliness again. Are you beginning to see the benefits of Christ? God will forgive us of all our sins, make us alive in Christ as a new creation, be with us every moment of every day, and teach us how to experience the glories of our new life in Christ.9 As we explore the benefits of Christ, we will experience heavenly bliss on earth as it is in heaven. This is exactly what God wants for all of His children who are called out of darkness and into a marvelous light.10 To experience anything less, like the lukewarm church, must break the Father’s heart.

Our Father in heaven wants us to experience every Spiritual blessing.11 Of course, our greatest benefit is salvation from the powers of darkness and eternal damnation. We have been made alive in Christ Jesus to hear our Savior’s voice and to feel His abiding presence even in the midst of the chaos.12 We have been made alive to be bright lights in a very dark world.13 Even the horror of persecution cannot separate us from God’s love that flows powerfully through every fiber of our being, bringing a peace that defies understanding.14 God, the Father does not relish our trials and tribulations but rejoices in them to strengthen His beloved children to fill up the sufferings of Christ.15 As we are strengthened in Christ, the barnacles of the old sin nature fall off, and we learn to trust more in His loving providence to work all things together for good.16 Step by step, we no longer see through a darkened glass but can clearly see the Spiritual path before us. Oh, what joy it is to see, really see for the first time, that God’s ways are so much higher than our ways.17 All the important things of the fallen world seem like foolishness to the way that’s now been opened to us.

Oh, what a glorious way it is, to experience every Spiritual blessing from the hand of Christ. Oh, what absolute joy it is to experience the brief times of heavenly bliss on earth as it will continually be in heaven. The Spiritual blessings now can be happily realized in those little unseen miracles where you know with all assurance that God was there working everything out for the best. Have you ever seen the impossible suddenly become possible? It was nothing that you necessarily prayed about or even expected, it just happened. This is what I have always referred to as God’s little miracles. The longer we walk with God trusting in His loving providence the easier it becomes to recognize those many little miracles in the believer’s life. After we reach perfection in the heavenly places, we will see every miracle as it happens. Our participation in the miracle will radically change in that our heavenly desire and the miracle will become as one. Wishful thinking will be a misnomer because our righteous thinking will become a spiritual reality in heavenly places. Every step of the way we will rejoice that Christ is working through us causing all things to work together according to His will, witnessing little miracles, and touching others for Christ. Although there are many benefits in Christ, there is none greater than we will never walk alone.

Listen to the Prophets

Some say there are no prophets today, while others say the gift of prophecy no longer exists. To listen to the prophets in any age will take a great deal of discernment. There have been false prophets from the beginning proclaiming things out of their own vain imagination. God and his elect prophets have always been very critical of these false prophets prophesying either what the people want to hear or their own made-up prophecies that always confuse the people. Any serious student of the Bible who is filled with the Holy Spirit knows full well that the gift of prophecy will not cease until the perfect One, Jesus Christ, comes to usher in His eternal Kingdom. I have taught for many years that there is no new prophecy other than what’s already in the Bible but that does not negate the fact that the Spirit can also give us a deeper insight into the written prophecy that already exists and direct us to apply it properly to the age in which we are living. We have a responsibility to adhere to the true prophets for every age from the First Century until now. As. God’s beloved children, we must listen to the prophets with great discernment. Helping Christians Stand Firm (Video)

“Daniel W. Blair humbly received this message from the Lord on October 17 and 18, 2021”

Helping Christians to stand firm has been our commission from the Lord for many years now. However, it’s only been in the last few years that we have realized just how important it is for the survival of Christianity. Yes, classic Christianity is dying, and its followers are being easily captured by the powers of darkness to do their bidding. They are no longer standing firm in their faith but have now become a mouthpiece for Satan as he leads the entire world into greater confusion, precipitated by the powers of darkness leading everyone to express their own wavering opinion. After watching this video on my secure website, please share it others

Helping Christians Stand Firm

Helping Christians to stand firm has been our commission from the Lord for many years now. However, it’s only been in the last few years that we have realized just how important it is for the survival of Christianity. Yes, classic Christianity is dying, and its followers are being easily captured by the powers of darkness to do their bidding. They are no longer standing firm in their faith but have now become a mouthpiece for Satan as he leads the entire world into greater confusion, precipitated by the powers of darkness leading everyone to express their own wavering opinion. Their beliefs change like the wind when they are confronted with a better-sounding argument or a real threat to their livelihood. Furthermore, many remain silent in the face of falsehood or hearsay indicating that they are not standing firm. To use an old adage, “if we don’t stand for something, we will fall for everything.” Sadly, we are now living in a world where most are falling for everything because they are not standing firm in the faith of our forefathers. What deeply saddens me is there is no rebuttal from the Church or God’s holy people when they hear their senseless rhetoric and wavering opinions contrary to sound doctrine.
