Before we ask that question, why Haiti is suffering, our hearts first cry out for all the pain and anguish of the Haitian people. As believers in Christ compassion would lead us to do everything we can to relieve their untold suffering. It might be giving to our local church to fund a relief effort. It might be going our self or sending others to help in the relief effort. But as true Christians we would also be led through the Holy Spirit to help them understand what is happening in the world and help them make an appropriate response to the mercy of God. This world is in its present trouble and distress because men and women have rebelled against God. They have blurred the lines of Christianity’s exclusiveness between other world religions and are reaping the fruits of their own evil deeds. God is pouring His punishment down upon them because the hour of His judgment has come. In this country rebellion against God has reached a level never seen before in Christian history. In the past twenty years I have personally witnessed an unholy exchange in America. Continue reading Rebellion and the Lukewarm Church
All three Apostles (John, Paul, and James) agree that the testing of our faith produces endurance and that if endurance be allowed to take its stand it will bring about the perfection in our life that Christ desires. (I Peter 1:6-7; Romans 5:3-5) The Bible says, “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God.” (Acts 14:22b)

We need to come out of the world because the power structures in the world are very captivating; they will keep you in bondage to the Evil one. Christ came to set the captives free. You say: “I didn’t know that we were in captivity.” Living in this beautiful country enjoying the freedoms that we have we don’t think much about being in captivity. Yet we are! The Bible says that we are in captivity to this world and the one who runs this world is Satan himself! The Bible says, “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.” (Eph. 2:1-2) That’s the bad news. But the good news is that Christ came to set us free, to give us a new life in-Him. At the conclusion of the service I am going to give you an opportunity to come forward to accept Jesus Christ into your heart.
There are four major patterns of this world that keep us in captivity to do the will of Satan. Friends that is his design… Continue reading Coming Out of the World
