Glorify God in the Coming Judgment

God is glorified for many things, but we don’t often think about God being glorified in His righteous judgment coming now upon the earth. God since the beginning has always been glorified when His chosen people followed the path that was laid out for them in loving obedience to His commandments. The Bible says, “Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified” (Isiah 60:21). God brought forth His commandments to show them the path of righteousness and the branch of His planting. This branch looked forward to the salvation of the whole world, a people in distant lands walking in righteousness to the glory of God. God’s work was the gift of His beloved Son to make propitiation for the sins of humanity (I John 2:2). God’s work was the glorious transformation of fallen humanity in Christ by putting off the old life and putting on the new life in Christ (II Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 4:22-24). Furthermore, the God of creation would be glorified as His beloved children would let their light shine through their good works (Matthew 5:16). In time, they would also learn how to glorify God in their body and in their Spirit, which are God’s (I Corinthians 6:20). This would only be the beginning of a deeper journey of glorifying God in every situation including the coming judgment. Continue reading Glorify God in the Coming Judgment

The Great Day of God Almighty

This is the great battle. This is Armageddon. This is the day that everyone will be exposed for who and what they really are. We see this final battle in two places in the Book of Revelation (Revelation 16:12-16; and 19:11-21) with a brief interlude in between describing the great prostitute, the beast, and the fall of Babylon. We also notice the great rejoicing in heaven because the battle will be won, and everyone will be exposed (Revelation 19:1-10), what a glorious day that will be. If we look at the first description of the battle, we see all the enemies of God seeking to destroy everything of Christ (Revelation 16:12-16), commonly referred to as Armageddon. The beast, the false prophets, and other world religions, namely Islam, will make their final push to eradicate the teachings of Christ by integrating them with false doctrine. When we look at the second description of the great battle, we observe the Word of God exposing the enemies of Christ and destroying them on the field of battle (Revelation 19:11-21). The penetrating eyes of Jesus Christ will expose the sins of the world. God’s Word spoken through His faithful remnant and the angels of heaven will be victorious over His enemies. Hallelujah! God is Still in Control

Many are unsettled in the Spirit, and rightly so with all that is going on in the world. I wish it was just the economy or the changing political environment. I wish it were just the fear that the other political party would control the House and the Senate. I wish it was just the unstoppable virus or the increasing natural disasters. I wish it was just the war and the threat of a world war. No! It is something far worse that is unsettling the true believers in Christ. We all have known for some time now that there is something major on the horizon that’s unsettling the strongest believers in Christ. As we approach the end, we all know somehow that Satan must take a more active role, than what we have seen. We somehow know that it would be beyond our worst nightmare. Satan and the powers of darkness must not only control certain ones in leadership, but their goal is to control every person upon planet earth. Although Satan and the powers of darkness have made great strides in psychology, drugs, public education, and entertainment, they will do even greater things in the coming days, weeks (or months) as they introduce new programs to bring everyone under their control. The Third Woe Ends the War (Video)

The war for the souls of mankind has been raging for over two thousand years. In my last two articles, we looked at the first two woes, demonstrating that they both began in the first century, even though their greatest effect upon fallen humanity wasn’t realized until the sixth century. Moreover, these two woes have progressively gotten worse through the centuries until the present day. Today, we will look at the third woe that corresponds with the seventh trumpet giving us a glimpse at the end from the beginning; a time of great rejoicing in heaven because the war has finally been won. After watching this heart-stopping video on my secure website, please share it with others

The Third Woe Ends the War

The war for the souls of mankind has been raging for over two thousand years. In my last two articles, we looked at the first two woes, demonstrating that they both began in the first century, even though their greatest effect upon fallen humanity wasn’t realized until the sixth century. Moreover, these two woes have progressively gotten worse through the centuries until the present day. Today, we will look at the third woe that corresponds with the seventh trumpet giving us a glimpse at the end from the beginning; a time of great rejoicing in heaven because the war has finally been won. (Read Revelation 11:14-19). Hallelujah! It’s essential to understand that the book of Revelation is not a static prophecy nor is it a prophecy incapsulated for some future date. It is a very dynamic prophecy relevant for every age giving us direction, hope, and encouragement to stand firm in the midst of the war being waged for the souls of humanity. To fully understand the third woe, it will be necessary to review six chapters in the book of Revelation along with the important interludes, four separate acts, that we will discuss as they appear in the Revelation. Bear with me during this heart-stopping drama, for it’s well worth the journey. Continue reading The Third Woe Ends the War
