Revelation Revealed in an Epiphany

I have studied the book of Revelation and taught its truths for 45 years. I have also written and published three books on its timeless truths. Today I will be presenting an amazing overview of the revelation that I received from the hand of God in what I have called an epiphany. I am not certain if I was caught up, had a theophany, or had an epiphany, but I am certain that it was different from anything that I have ever experienced before. For many years I have heard the still small voice of God through the indwelling Spirit, but this last experience was totally different. Typically, the indwelling Spirit will give us the correct words to say or write at a given moment in time. The Holy Spirit can also help us see the depth of Biblical doctrine and have a clearer understanding of Biblical prophecy. We can build our doctrine over time, developing a larger picture of God’s past, present, and future dealings with humanity. However, we don’t often get the big picture all at once, including all of time, which is understandable because we live in the here and now. We live in the present. On the other hand, Christ said that He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning, and the end (Revelation 22:13). He is not locked into time but sees it all, the past, present, and future all at the same time. Continue reading Revelation Revealed in an Epiphany

Daniels Blog – Celebrating 22 Years of Online Ministry

After many years in the pastoral ministry that required personal one on one discipleship, door to door evangelism, preaching, teaching, and counseling, it was a tremendous change to minister to a faceless audience in an online ministry, which took time to develop long-distance relationships. Back in 1998, the worldwide web was still in its infancy, and building a website was not the easiest task. I still have fond memories of my wife and I visiting an internet provider owned and operated by my oldest son, Jonathan. He had his full-time programmer1998 Website help me build my first website from scratch with no pre-made templates or WordPress. But how does one have a presence on the worldwide web? Google was a big help in those early days when they were still relatively new. We grew together on how to make one’s website easily searchable for as many people as possible, trying one promotional idea after another. In the beginning, our online ministry mainly consisted of writing blog articles, which was an easy task for I had spent many years writing out all of my weekly sermons as a fulltime pastor. Many of these old sermons found their way into my new website with an eagerness to reach the world for Christ. Continue reading Daniels Blog – Celebrating 22 Years of Online Ministry

Revealing the Man of Lawlessness

All through history we have seen evil, sin, and lawlessness. Yet, in these last days lawlessness will increase to such a degree that the man of lawlessness will be accepted and worshiped by every nation. The old restraint spoken of in the Bible will be removed so that the man of lawlessness can be revealed. (See II Thessalonians 2:5-6) Although the interpretation of who is doing the restraining has been hotly debated for years, there is a consensus among most scholars that the legal system of the Roman Empire held gross lawlessness in check, at least the outward forms. Even the Apostle Paul saw the Roman Empire as being established by God to punish the evil doer and reward the good.(See Romans 13:1) In every world empire since the fall of the Roman Empire outward acts of lawlessness have been punished to keep man from destroying himself.  In later centuries when evil men twisted God’s law or rejected it altogether they were led to enslave men of color, commit mass executions, or seek annihilation of an entire race. Yet, in every case the world’s consciousness has led man to right these wrongs by adhering to their legal system and bringing forth a swift and powerful judgment on the evil.
