Staying Untainted from the Political Divide

To see the political divide in this country largely perpetrated by the media is nauseating. Even the most righteous believers in Christ are indignant toward the negative, opinionated, and hateful rhetoric thrown at the President of the United States of America. Every word and action is over analyzed and fraught with contempt by the liberal media. As the divide widens and whole segments of the population are ripped apart and pitted one against another, the true believers in Christ must not be carried away by their lies and deception. We must remain aloof, but at the same time interject God’s truth into the matrix of society. What is truth? A question that has echoed down the annals of History. A truth that every believer must possess. Continue reading Staying Untainted from the Political Divide

Shelter in Place an Enigma in Disguise

With all the evil things in the world today, we hear a lot about “shelter in place.” Every time there’s a mass shooting or a disaster we usually hear this refrain and we all know what to do. Don’t move from the area, take cover, and remain silent. We are not meant to fight back, but hide. For many, if not most, it’s the loneliest time in their life. You are left completely alone with your fears, your anxiety and the unknown. The dark daunting unknown. Almost anything these days could cause us to shelter in place, from mass shootings to natural disasters; and, from martial law to a nuclear attack as we hear it over the loud speakers or on emergency radios. Yet, this is an enigma in disguise, because where is the real shelter? You are hiding, hunkered down, behind an unlocked door or in your home, but where is the real shelter? Where is the solace, or the comfort that everything is ok? For those in the world there is no real shelter. Shelter in place is an enigma, but for the believers it should be different. Let me show you how. Continue reading Shelter in Place an Enigma in Disguise

Is Jesus Christ a Nationalist or a Globalist?

Is Jesus Christ a nationalist or a globalist? Let’s not be too quick to answer that question until we examine the facts. I believe that both political camps on either side of the divide would claim divine support for their position. In recent years’ globalism has gained support from most of the younger generation in the West and especially in America. This is due in large part because of the professors of higher learning and the movie industry. Young people are taught that everyone should put their differences aside for the greater good of a united world where every nation and every people group would be considered equal. Where most would agree that all races should be accepted as equals, they now also include all sexual orientations, all religions, all immigrants and their form of personal government even if it does not agree with the constitution and laws of the host country. Finishing the Race

Where is the joy and excitement we once had when we first came to know the Lord Jesus Christ? For many, they feel its been lost forever and whatever joy or excitement they do experience, it’s like a meteor lighting up the night sky for one joyous moment and then disappearing. So how do we keep that joy and excitement alive, especially in our older age when we are fraught with illnesses, physical limitations and unusual maladies? How do we keep it alive when we are facing various trials and tribulations? The simple answer, which begs for an explanation, is get back in the race. Unfortunately, many well many Christians are still sitting on the sidelines allowing Christianity to become little more than a good habit with poor results. So how do we leave this quagmire of constant learning without meaningful application; how do we return to the joy of our salvation where every day is a new day in the Lord filled with unbelievable excitement? Get back in the race. The Bible says, “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:1-2). NWO Discerned Not Deceived

Let’s begin by talking about biblical discernment. In the last days many so called prophets, politicians, and religious leaders have arisen speaking and saying different things, but where is the discernment? Without biblical discernment it has created a matrix of confusion casting most into the depths of darkness, who are then willing to blindly follow anyone who speaks with polished rhetoric and outrageous promises. On the other hand, we must have biblical discernment to expose the lies and to rescue those who have been taken captive through their sorceries. So what is biblical discernment? It’s much more than just memorizing a few favorite verses of Scripture. It’s much more than memorizing and quoting a religious leader’s slant on the truth. It’s much more than taking an eschatological viewpoint and forcing it upon all of Scripture. It’s much more than parroting the speech of a popular political or religious personality. Biblical discernment is putting all of God’s Word into our heart and that can only happen when we become doers of the Word. It begins in our mind and remains in our heart by following God’s commandments for all of life allowing it through faith to transform our miserable lives. The Bible says, “But solid food is for fullgrown men, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil” (Hebrews 5:14). Solid food moves beyond the milk of God’s Word to the many other truths that will bring us into maturity. This is the first and most important step toward biblical discernment.  Continue reading NWO Discerned Not Deceived
