Help to Survive the Great Tribulation

If you haven’t noticed Canada is on fire and its smoke is invading the United States. If you haven’t noticed these viruses simply don’t go away but continue morphing into yet another plague. If you haven’t noticed lawlessness has gotten so bad that gangs smash and grab whatever they want with no hindrance from law enforcement. If you haven’t noticed corruption has gotten so bad it’s really difficult to discern who’s telling the truth. If you haven’t noticed what is now happening on the planet mirrors many of the plagues, woes, and wrath of God in the Book of Revelation. For example, the fourth bowl of God’s wrath seems strikingly familiar with what is happening now. The Bible says, “And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory” (Revelation 16:8-9). It would be difficult to admit that we have not entered the Great Tribulation. I am convinced that God is leading me to help His children to survive the Great Tribulation. This will be the first of a series of articles on how to survive the Great Tribulation. Continue reading Help to Survive the Great Tribulation

Seven Lies of the Devil – Part II

To miss what is going on in the world, we would need to be living in a bubble. Of course, as believers, we knew that this day would come when the whole world seems to be falling apart from horrific firestorms to unbelievably extreme temperatures and from unchecked lawlessness to the grossest of sexual perversions. Perhaps the worst for the true believer is to see so many fall away and embrace all the lies of the devil as if they were the gospel truth. It is enough to make you weep in great agony.

We Can Make Things Better

Perhaps the most dangerous lie is that we can make the world better through the political process. This has been a lie used many times throughout history raising up the Caesars, Napoleons, and Hitler’s promising to make things better, but in the end creating a cult-like mentality, which brought death and destruction to the world. This thinking of making things better through the political process is antithetical to the Way presented by Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus Christ came to earth to show us a better way of truly making things better. The Christian way is through transformational change one person at a time. The heart and mind must be changed by putting off the old life and putting on the new life in Christ. The devil cares only about manipulating your heart and mind to believe his lies thus creating a cult-like mentality. He wants you to believe that forcing everyone through his new laws will cause them to align with his way, or your way of thinking, which will overcome the divisions, and establish a brave new world. This is a very dangerous and deceptive lie of the devil that will ingeniously target religious people who will be willing to follow him to hell and back. They will even proclaim him as some kind of saint or savior that will deliver the world from very evil and corrupt people. They may even proclaim that God has raised him to fix the world through the political process. Stop listening to the devil who can even disguise himself as an angel of light (II Corinthians 11:14). This will be the path that the dreaded Antichrist will take causing you to believe that he has your best interest at heart. This deception will be so strong that people will freely worship him as the savior of humanity believing that he alone will stop the wars, the outrageous lawlessness, and even the wrath of God as we had discussed earlier. Let’s stop listening to the devil’s lies and return to God’s way of real lasting change. Continue reading Seven Lies of the Devil – Part II

Thinking God’s Thoughts After Him

My greatest desire is to think God’s thoughts after Him. Our minds are so cluttered with the thoughts of the world, receiving new information at the speed of light, it’s most difficult to even hear only God’s thoughts. So, the process must begin with emptying our minds of meaningless thoughts that are casting us in one direction, then another. We must stop the endless flow of information coming in from the world. These thoughts come from many different sources. They come from Television to 24-hour cable news, and from social media to everyone expressing their own opinion. This information comes from books of so-called higher learning to endless searches on the internet, and from the latest popular videos to artificial intelligence, all who claim to have the answers to man’s dilemma. We are living in a sea of information filling our minds with scientific and expert information that’s constantly changing. We can’t all become monks and withdraw completely from the world, but we can be more selective to the point of cutting back ninety percent of the information flow. Although this would empty our minds of volumes of meaningless, contradictory, and changing information, it would not completely solve the problem. Vain imaginations would quickly take root prodded by the powers of darkness. Continue reading Thinking God’s Thoughts After Him

Conquering the Evil From Within

As we approach closer to the end, almost everyone is looking at the evil around them. Very few, unfortunately, look at the evil within themselves. There is no better time than the present to examine the evil lurking in each of us. Remember, that each of us will be judged by a most Holy and righteous God. I must say in the beginning this will not be a popular topic, for looking within can be the most humbling and humiliating experience of our lives. However, it is much better to do it now, rather than being totally exposed and humiliated at the throne of the Almighty. Now, you will have an opportunity to change. When the last trumpet is sounded or if you experience an untimely death, then it will be too late. So, if you are willing to take this journey from within let us proceed. The Holy Spirit will be our guide. He will take you to places that you could never have imagined. Hopefully, it will cause you to have many hours of self-reflection. My hope and prayers are that all who claim to be Christians will take this journey allowing the indwelling Spirit to bring deep conviction to their souls. Let’s begin. Having a Consensus Brings Us Out of Chaos

In the beginning, there was no chaos because there was unity in belief. There were no varied opinions until Satan interjected his lies into the matrix, the order of things established by God. This chaos grew as beliefs and opinions grew more divergent. In time accepted beliefs and opinions became increasingly dominant among certain people groups scattered throughout the world. Primarily conflicts and wars arose not because of beliefs but rather for the conquering of land and the pillaging of food stores. However, in time beliefs became the motive to not only conquer but to change the beliefs of the conquered inhabitants. Throughout the centuries chaos among different people groups remained rather calm with the majority accepting the same belief system in their locale. Chaos would only ensue when strong-minded people stepped outside the system of shared beliefs and opinions. Whole towns and communities could be led to accept certain beliefs or opinions that were different from the established beliefs at the time. But it rarely affected an entire country except during the Muslim invasions and the protestant reformation. Later on in France and the Americas, although they separated from the traditional rule, there was still a general consensus on shared beliefs. Even in the early democracies, disagreement between political parties never reached such a level of universal chaos among the general population as seen today.
