Revelation Revealed in an Epiphany

Revelation Revealed in an Epiphany

I have studied the book of Revelation and taught its truths for 45 years. I have also written and published three books on its timeless truths. Today I will be presenting an amazing overview of the revelation that I received from the hand of God in what I have called an epiphany. I am not certain if I was caught up, had a theophany, or had an epiphany, but I am certain that it was different from anything that I have ever experienced before. For many years I have heard the still small voice of God through the indwelling Spirit, but this last experience was totally different. Typically, the indwelling Spirit will give us the correct words to say or write at a given moment in time. The Holy Spirit can also help us see the depth of Biblical doctrine and have a clearer understanding of Biblical prophecy. We can build our doctrine over time, developing a larger picture of God’s past, present, and future dealings with humanity. However, we don’t often get the big picture all at once, including all of time, which is understandable because we live in the here and now. We live in the present. On the other hand, Christ said that He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning, and the end (Revelation 22:13). He is not locked into time but sees it all, the past, present, and future all at the same time.

The Epiphany was different in that I saw the entire truth instantly from the beginning to the end. You might say, “I got the big picture in an instant.” Another thing that made this encounter so different was the swooshing noise at the end of my experience where I was instantly brought back to my reality. This Epiphany, which I recently had was during my morning prayers and meditation. Instead of just examining the past, the present, or the future, the epiphany was remarkably different. It instantly came in a flash giving me the big picture as seen by God. On a timeless canvas, it unlocked and majestically painted all of Christian history from beginning to end. It instantly awakens the mind and spirit within man to see God’s beautiful plan, which I unknowingly mostly captured in my latest book, “God’s Loving Pursuit” where I take the reader on a journey from the creation of the world to the end just prior to Christ glorious return in glory. So, what truth did I see in my epiphany? In an instant, I saw that the fallen world cannot eradicate evil. No matter how hard humanity tries from passing new laws to enacting new policies to control the masses, they will fail. All humanity can do is push evil back, control it, lock it up, or cause it to hide in the hearts and minds of humanity. Fallen humanity cannot eradicate evil.

Finally, this epiphany has confirmed my long-standing interpretation of the book of Revelation. To properly understand the book of Revelation we must look at the entire book as a series of eschatological events that are currently unfolding throughout the entire timeline from the resurrection of Christ to His return in glory. As each eschatological event unfolds starting with the seven churches that represent all the church ages from the first century until now. We are currently the Church at Laodicea. Other events have also started to unfold throughout Church history at different points on the timeline and will continue to do so until the end. Every eschatological event, contrary to when it actually started will all end at the same time. I have previously written about most all of these unfolding eschatological events, but for the sake of brevity, we will only look at one in relationship to my epiphany. The eschatological event we will look at is the sounding of the fifth trumpet, which is the first woe. It is called a woe because it sorely affects all of fallen humanity (Revelation 8:13-9-2). I have entitled this woe “The Silent Pandemic of Mental Illness,” which I have written profusely about in blog articles and in my latest book. Satan introduced this most destructive lie many years ago in Bagdad, Iraq, in 750 AD. This was the beginning of psychology and humanity’s failed attempt to overcome the old sin nature.

I have written in detail about how psychology, its counseling, and its administering of psychotropic drugs have failed humanity. Simply put they have tried to overcome the old sin nature, which is quite impossible. This has been proved by how mental illness has turned into a worldwide pandemic spawning insanity, suicide, and horrific lawlessness. It’s a wonder that the human race has lived so long. They are always at war with one another allowing their cluttered minds to think the worst of their neighbor. It’s so tragic that they have rejected the love from God that allows them to see others in a different light. It’s so tragic that they have not trusted in God to show them so gently how to remove the scars from their own past and experience the wonder of a new life in Christ. It’s so tragic that they still follow the world in attempting to change people without ever touching their hearts. As lawlessness increases tenfold and deep-seated psychological problems cause people to become alarmingly more aggressive, it will grow horrendously more difficult to maintain your Christian composure. The temptation will be great to hide your Christianity or strike back with impunity. I am brokenhearted that most of Christianity who has the message of the new life in Christ still refuse to share it with others. Christ came with the eternal message that through faith lives can be powerfully changed and evil permanently eradicated.

It will be most difficult when most of humanity loses their ability to function in the real world, from their inability to perform the simplest of tasks to demonstrating a caring attitude. This is when many will begin to escape their reality in the Metaverse. On the other hand, God’s Kingdom can and will completely eradicate all evil in the world by changing hearts. Jesus Christ and His Gospel can and will powerfully do this through faith, changing the hearts and minds of humanity. I believe this was the vision that the early Christians had, which was the driving force behind everything they did. This was the driving force that allowed them to stand firm against their persecutors. The Gospel message will prevail as it briefly did in the first century as outlined in my latest book, “God’s Loving Pursuit.” The point is every person who claims to know this truth must be focused only on this mission and not on what the world is trying to accomplish through laws and mandates. The sad part is, we have forgotten this truth, we have gotten off mission. When a church forgets this mission of saving souls to be transformed into the image of Christ then it is no longer a church but only a social club. It seems like the whole world is trapped on social media following the crowd and not making any real difference in the life of others.

I have written about all the trumpets, the woes, and the bowls of God’s wrath as they are currently falling upon unrepentant humanity. We have briefly looked at the first woe but let’s not forget the second woe, the sounding of the sixth trumpet, which also began in the first century as a heresy and later materialized as the Muslim invasion. This is a threat that will continue until the end when they join forces with Russia and the rest of the Kings of the East to rain down fire and brimstone upon the final Antichrist in the West. Throughout the entire end time, God’s faithful remnant will continue steadfastly as seen in the following passages in the book of Revelation 12:17, 14:12, and 18:4-5. The epiphany was true and very relevant for our day. It encourages God’s children to stand firm throughout the Great Tribulation believing that only His message of salvation will ever eradicate evil in the world. We can tell the world why they are experiencing all of their problems, but they also need to hear the solution. The only thing that can overcome the old sin nature and experience life to its fullest is salvation in Jesus Christ. We must get back on mission and share the simple, yet powerful Gospel, with everyone we know. Yes, we are in the last church age, the church of Laodicea, but we are also the faithful remnant to the end.

Please join me in Prayer

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray, Oh Lord, that you open the eyes of the lukewarm church who has been blinded by the world. They are happy that their pews are occupied, and their coffers are full but don’t realize that most of their members are carnal. Because of their carnal mind, they are unable to keep the law of God and need constant counseling schooled by the methods of psychology. Open their eyes to see that their inability to keep the law of God is because their members have not completely surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Help them to see that when they truly die to self, allowing Christ to make them into a new creation then it gives them both the desire and the ability to obey the law of God. True believers in Christ may need an occasional exhortation, encouragement, admonishment, or a loving rebuke, but we, Oh Lord, know that they don’t need constant, non-ending counseling allowing them to remain as little more than babies in Christ or of a carnal mind, which is an enmity to God. We pray that you awaken the lukewarm church. We are truly the church of Laodicea. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be” (Romans 8:7).
