Yes, transformation in Christ is a reality. You have come out of the world, which has given you an amazing amount of free time. Free at last! You have gloriously redeemed the time (Colossians 4:5). You have redeemed the time by no longer being tutored by the world through all their technologies. Now, let me invite you to join me in an awe-inspiring journey that will joyfully experience your miraculous transformation in Christ. It starts with the mind, the marvelous mind created by God. A mind exquisitely designed for all of humanity created in the image of an omniscient God. The Bible says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2). If you have read my previous article and have already started coming out of the world, then you have taken the first step. You forcefully stopped Satan from conforming your mind to the ways of the world by constantly filling your mind with useless and contradictory thoughts. But this is only the first step in the journey, many don’t make it this far or immediately reverse course returning to the ways of the fallen world.
If you are still with me, let’s start the transformation process by renewing our minds. You cannot rush this. It takes time; you can use all the time you redeemed by no longer following the ways of the world. Let me say upfront that it is God’s express will that you are transformed in Christ. Transformation is essential if we sincerely want to be filled with the Holy Spirit. It is essential if we want to participate in the utilization of Spiritual gifts uniquely allocated to each of us for specific use in Kingdom work. Transformation is essential if we want to witness the many little miracles in our lives as God so gloriously works out everything to the best. God does this in His phenomenal timing, which brings us great joy. Transformation in Christ is essential if we want to be caught up in the Spirit, outside of time itself, to witness heavenly bliss and the presence of the Holy. It is essential if we want to hear the still small voice of God directing us along life’s narrow path. Finally, transformation in Christ is essential if we want to say along with the Apostle Paul, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).
Now for the nuts and bolts of transformation in Christ. There must be a renewal of our minds that were originally created by God. This renewal cannot be accomplished by the vain efforts of psychological counseling, godless therapy, and addictive drugs. It can only be accomplished by following God’s perfect will, which will completely transform our lives. So, how do we follow God’s perfect will for our lives? The Apostle Paul started this discussion in the previous verse by telling us it’s only possible by making our life a complete sacrifice to God (Romans 12:1). Until we come to grips with that then it’s impossible to follow God’s perfect will, which will lead to our transformation in Christ. To become a living sacrifice means that our whole self is dedicated to serving the living God. This includes every thought, every spoken word, and every action must follow God’s good, acceptable, and perfect will. A whole book could be written on this one sentence. Unfortunately, most will not make this commitment. They will select a few favorite scriptures from the Bible and happily follow those, but they will have missed the total sacrifice of their lives to our most loving God. When we sincerely desire to only follow God’s perfect will above everything else, then God will take us by the hand and lead us along life’s narrow path to total victory in Christ, to total transformation in Christ.
So, once we make our lives a living sacrifice to Him, then we need to listen to God who will use all of life to express His good, acceptable, and perfect will. Nothing will happen by accident! God will use everything to get our attention. He may take everything away bringing us down into the pit of despair to teach us the lessons we refuse to listen to. God is committed to our transformation in Christ. On the other hand, we can be quick to listen and learn what must be given up from vain imaginations to pride and from being judgmental to lying profusely. The list is endless, which should drive us to examine the entire Bible instead of memorizing a few favorite verses. Oh, what joy it is to see God working in our lives, from hearing His beautiful still small voice and His timely words to the many little miracles that you will learn to expect. His timing on every miracle is impeccable. I know that many of your ways learned in the world will be most difficult to give up or you discover that you must keep learning the same lessons over and over again. Just remember, that God never stops teaching us and growing us from one degree of glory to another (II Corinthians 3:18). The transformation in Christ will continue throughout our entire life, this is the will of God and should also be ours.
Dear children, if you are not growing, then you are slipping back into the ways of the fallen world. When this happens it will bring great difficulties into your life. Unfortunately, this is exactly where the lukewarm church is in its relationship with God. They have one foot in the world following all that the world offers and one foot in the Kingdom proclaiming that they are working for God. These people have never truly offered themselves as a living sacrifice to God. They want the best of both worlds without making a total commitment to either. When we make a living sacrifice to God it must be Holy without any blemish or defect. Holiness will only come through repentance, by letting go of all that the fallen world has taught you about life and its so-called freedoms of walking in every perversion. We must repent of believing that we have power in ourselves to change the world through a political process that routinely endorses evil. We must repent of believing that we have the wisdom and power to fix all of our emotional and psychological problems. We must repent of all pride and arrogance of believing that we can do anything apart from our Creator who created us to have a symbiotic relationship with God. We were never created to live alone. When man and woman were first created God walked with them in the garden in the cool of the day (Genesis 3:8-9).
Some think they have everything from riches to prestige but in reality, they will have nothing because they will have missed out on the greatest blessings by becoming all that we were created to be. Once we are on the path of our transformation in Christ, becoming all that God wants us to be by following His perfect will, then we will truly enjoy all that life has to offer. Even our relationship with the rest of God’s creation from the plant life to the wildlife will take on a whole new dimension. Moreover, our relationship with other humans will not be based on what we can gain but on what we can give as a natural act of agape love. Our transformation in Christ will give us a foretaste of things to come where all selfishness and pride will be eradicated. This will be a foretaste of the new heavens and the new earth. Do you really want to change the world? Then lead people to dedicate themselves as a living sacrifice to our loving Father by being transformed in Christ. This will change the world more than all the politicians, all the new laws, and all the perverted nonsense on the airwaves will ever do. Dear children, come out from among them now, and let God transform you in Christ. Finally, we must believe that transformation is taking place in our lives, believing that the old life is truly passing away and the new life in Christ is miraculously being changed to adapt to Christ living in us to the glory of God. We sing joyfully “Take my life.”
Take my life and let it be
Consecrated Lord, to Thee
Take my hands and let them move
At the impulse of Thy love
At the impulse of Thy love
Let me conclude with what a dear sister, Mareesha, received from the Lord
See through my eyes LORD,
let me see as You see.
Think through my mind LORD,
let my thoughts be Your thoughts.
Speak through my mouth LORD,
let my words be Your Words.
Touch through my hands LORD,
let my hands flow with Your Love.

{ Very, deeply, anointed…all TRUTH!!! Amen and Amen to this new article.}
You lead, perfectly, from one thought to another flowing so gracefully to each point that is made.
Every single believer in our Holy YaHWeH must read this article.
This writing well explains, in detail, every aspect of what most Christ believers go through, as they/we seek to become more like Christ: From one trial to another each one of us goes down this similar path of life, as you have well explained in this article. If we do not let go and we get back up…we can continue to go from glory to glory.
Many think that any mistake that they have made means that they are no longer saved and therefore quit the race. This article redirects the believer to continue the race of growing up into Christ in all things.
Thank you my dear friend, Mareesha, for your additional comment on this article that I have prayed every one who claims the Name of Christ would read to encourage them in their walk. God bless you more my dear friend.
