The nation was shocked again with another mass shooting this time in Las Vegas, Nevada. Already blame is given to mental illness. gun control, ISIS, and the list goes on and on, but no one looks at the real problem. It’s like the whole world and most of Christianity ignores the problem completely. Yes, it is a deep-rooted problem that goes back many years, perhaps as far back as the 1950’s. Until we recognize the problem we will never be able to solve it. Everyone will admit that what a man thinks is what he will eventually do. This was a truth taught by the Bible and echoed by Jesus Christ and His Apostles. Proverbs says, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” (Proverbs 23:7). And clearly a man always thinks what he has been taught.
Well since the 1950’s we have been teaching man what we want him to think. Not just a few learned men, but all men, women and children to learn while they are still in the cradle. To learn from the experts of our age through many different mediums that follow us every moment of every day. Constantly learning from elementary school to the world-wide web to the movies we watch to the music we listen to, to the article you are reading now. We are constantly learning from social media to the news media. From High School to the College professor we are being taught what the social engineers want us to learn. One only needs to look at the division in this country to see the affect that learning has had on the young people teaching them the liberal mindset verses the older generation, which is more conservative. The real war coming is the war of information given to the population that controls their thinking and eventually their action.
Christianity is caught in the quagmire of competing forces. On one side is the New World Order and its liberal mindset and on the other side is the old world trying to maintain its conservative values while trying to keep up with the information coming at them at the speed of light through social media, YouTube, and the world-wide web. Then there are groups like ISIS trying to hang on to what they see as their conservative values of hate and dissemination. If we have eyes to see, we can see what is coming. The New World Order is destined to win the day. They will win the day by pitting one conservative group against another. They will win the day by raising up a liberal fringe element to make war upon the conservatives and their religious values. They will win the day because they have already won most all the young people and the older generation will eventually die out.
They will win the day because it has been prophesized in Holy Scripture. There will come a time when every conservative person who hangs onto their religious values will become an enemy of the State, or the New World Order. Personally, I would love to say that there is time to turn back the clock, but I am afraid it is too late. The dye has already been cast. The hearts and minds of the young people have already been won. However, not all is lost. We as Christians still have opportunity to strengthen what remains and as we do, it will only cause the chasm to grower deeper. So, what can we do now to strengthen what remains?
To strengthen what remains will be difficult, but not impossible. First, we must jettison any physical fight mentality. We cannot wage war the way the world does, but we can fight back by waging spiritual warfare. If you have not noticed Satan has gotten much stronger in our day. Probably because he knows that his time is short. We must stand strong emotionally and psychologically by allowing God to counsel all our difficulties through His anointed Word and spiritual counselors. If you fail at this point you will not be made strong. Strong enough to withstand the Day. Secondly, we must not follow the world in its endless learning from everything that is being thrown at us from the world. I rarely scroll more than few seconds on Facebook, hardly ever watch a YouTube video, very discrete on movies I watch or music that I listen to, and rarely go beyond the headlines on the news media. But even doing all that will not make us strong. It will not strengthen what remains. There are many things we can do. We can fellowship with mature Christians either face to face or by reading their inspired articles, books, or listening to their podcast on the radio. We can search the Scripture to see if those things are so. We can pray long and mediate upon those things that the Lord would have us to think about. And when we search the world-wide web we must be very careful not assuming that all that we read is the truth.
Finally, it’s imperative that we help our children. If we don’t they will be overcome by the world. I firmly recommend that every Christian family remove their children from public school. Either find a private Christian school or learn how to teach them yourself at home. And if you are unwilling to do that then you must talk to your children every day about what they are learning in school. They must hear, what does God say. The peer pressure that they receive from the school to conform to the world and its standards will be most difficult especially for a young mind. We must strengthen what remains or all will be lost. Let me leave you with these words from God’s Holy Word. “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4). Amen

A relationship with Jesus strengthens daily with prayer, bible reading and worship and should be the mainstay of every Christian.
Using social media primary posts would be to pray for and minister to those in need. Finding and using our gifts in the Spirit will help each of us do our part to share the Good News of the Gospel of our LORD. Be Kingdom minded in all things. Encourage others to repent and see the need to learn about God’s Kingdom.
Bind up demonic strongholds by using our God given authority as we listen and rely upon the Holy Spirit who guides us into all Truth. Serve the Father through Jesus our Lord, confessing his name daily.
I agree. We have to be Alert Prepared and Ready at all times. Feeding on the Word of GOD..Fellowshipping in Prayer and Counsel with the HOLY SPIRIT and Thankful that JESUS Interceeds for us in Heaven at the right hand of ABBA FATHER…..Amen….
