Give us eyes, Oh Lord, to see the destruction all around us. Every person and creature on the planet is affected. The world cannot see. Most of your children cannot see. The unseen powers of darkness are actively controlling the minds of most, leading them to do and think the unthinkable. They have turned away from God and now rest under the powers of darkness. You can see it in their eyes as they lash out at one another. They are always accusing the other side of all their problems. What we have seen thus far with the storming of the capital is only the tip of the iceberg, what’s coming will be our worst nightmare. It’s much more than unchecked lawlessness. It’s much more than wars and rumors of war. It’s much more than the complete breakdown of society. It’s much more than an economic collapse. It’s much more than the worst calamities caused by all the so-called natural disasters. The increasing number of catastrophic earthquakes, violent hurricanes, and flooding will pale in comparison to what’s coming. Even the increasing heat index driving humanity underground to escape the unbearable heat will not compare with what’s coming. It will get so bad that people will run to the proverbial caves in the Book of Revelation to escape what’s coming upon the world (see Revelation 6:15-17).

As described in my newest book, “God’s Loving Pursuit,” humanity will create a new reality in which to escape. However, it is this new reality that will seal their fate. At this point, we still have an opportunity to turn things around, but it will not be from choosing up sides. You know what I am talking about. The East against the West, NATO against Russia, the Democrats against the Republicans, and the liberals against the conservatives. Yes, we have an opportunity to turn things around, but it will not be by accepting everyone in their perverse lifestyle, as we sing Kumbaya, in the name of tolerance. We have an opportunity to turn things around, but it will not be from sitting around a table negotiating an illustrious peace deal through the methodology of give and take. We still have an opportunity to turn things around, but not from all the government’s investigations and the displaying all the so-called facts publicly, which is only causing the division to grow deeper. We have an opportunity to turn things around, but it will not be by following the powers of darkness that are driving the division among humanity even deeper. The hate will grow to such a degree that it will be nearly impossible to live together in our current reality.

There is only one way to turn things around before we self-annihilate. The King of kings and the Lord of lords has given us the answer two thousand years ago. This same message is for God’s beloved children today, who are willing to listen to what the Spirit says to the church (see Revelation 3:22). So, let’s listen to the Spirit. We need to start by confessing our sins and asking for God’s forgiveness. We must truly believe in God as our Savior and believe that we have been given the Spirit of God to dwell within us. Now, let’s clear our minds completely of every thought. We need to listen without thinking. I know that this is a significant challenge for most, but we can ask God and He will help us to calm our minds by casting out all our conflicting thoughts and thoughts from the enemy. As we draw closer to the End of Days, the thoughts from the enemy will grow even more intense. Now, continue to pray quietly saying, “Help me, Lord, to rest in your presence alone. Let me hear only the purity of your thoughts.” Quietly praise God or quote Scripture from memory, stopping often to just listen. Take your time. In fact, the deeper you go into prayer and meditation, time will seem to stop. Dear children, if we don’t listen to the Spirit, then we will never know how to turn things around.

If we all listen to the same Spirit, then we will see and know what we must do. We cannot and must not join the enemy in his game of dividing humanity. The powers of darkness have taken the entire world by force. They are leading humanity to accept the lie for the truth, and the truth for a lie, rightly understood as deception (see II Thessalonians 2:10). Now, this is not the “run of the-mill” deception like all the so-called conspiracy theories. It is far worse. It’s far worse because you will never detect this deception by unmasking some so-called conspiracy theory. Your belief or opinion is not relevant, it goes much deeper to leading the entire world into mass confusion. The devil has purposely divided up the whole world and has invited you to pick a side, any side makes little difference to him. In reality, both sides will lead you to the pit of hell, all the while thinking that you are on the winning side. If you listen to the Spirit, then you may discover that both sides are wrong! You have been taken captive by the powers of darkness. Listening to the Spirit will help you to rightly interpret everything in the world. You will know what must be done to bring about unity among God’s beloved children, so we can stand united against the powers of darkness.

Many of God’s children have adopted the many “feel good” verses in the Bible to be repeated time and again to make themselves feel good. Unfortunately, this kind of picking and choosing of Holy Scripture has completely separated most from the holiness of God. It has separated them from those commandments that we are required to do. I see this kind of feel-good posting often on social media with very few postings of God’s “Thou Shalt Not” commandments of obedience. This has caused the church to enter into a very dark period referred to in the Bible as “the great falling away” (see II Thessalonians 2:3). When we listen to the Spirit, then we begin to hear just how far humanity has strayed from the path. We hear that we have all fallen away to some degree, even if we don’t want to admit it. The Spirit will help God’s children to understand what is really going on in the world. The Spirit will open our eyes to see everything from God’s perspective. So, our first step in standing against the enemy is putting on the new life in Christ filled with holiness (I Peter 1:15-16). Stop following the powers of darkness in choosing up sides and follow God by becoming what He wants you to be, which is entirely different than what you see in the world.

God’s spoken Word and the Bible are still as relevant today as it was two thousand years ago, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). We have not only sinned personally, but we are also leading our children to sin or allowing it to happen. This is why it is essential to come out from among them if we are serious about turning this around (see II Corinthians 6:17-18, Revelation 18:4-5). We cannot do it from within the broken system. We cannot do it by passing new laws and picking the right candidate. We cannot do it by protesting in the streets. We cannot do it by posting feel-good posts on social media to our echo chamber. We cannot do it by letting our voices be heard at their committee meetings. There is only one option given to us by the risen Lord. We must come out from among them and be separate. We must school our own children to follow only the principles of the Kingdom (Proverbs 22:6). We must not accept the perverse lifestyles, but openly and unashamedly turn our back on them (Psalms 37:27, I Peter 3:11). We must reject all the teachings of psychology and trust in God alone, who has given us everything we need for life and godliness (II Peter 1:3). We must always follow the directions of the Spirit by witnessing our faith to the unbeliever (Matthew 28:18-20, I Peter 3:15). This is the only thing that will turn things around. If we don’t, then destruction is coming all around us (II Peter 3:10). We all have a choice. Either stand with the powers of darkness or stand with Christ. You cannot do both. Destruction is around us.
