PRAYERS FOR THE LAST WEEK,  IN CASE YOU MISSED ONE

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/3/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Lord, for the beautiful gospel, that’s not only the good news, but the best news that humanity will ever receive. It’s absolutely free, where we cannot earn it, nor do we deserve it. In fact, it’s so free that when we become your servant and submit to you as our Master then you do it all. We can’t, but you can make us into a beautiful new creation, where old things pass away to never pull us down again. Our hearts are deeply saddened that we have people preaching a different gospel telling them that you are unable to solve all of their emotional and psychological problems. They tell them that they must rely on good works to earn their way into heaven or telling them that they need counsel and drugs from the world to solve their problems. Where is the good news in all that? We pray that people will believe, expect, and anticipate the transformation to take place in their lives. We pray that they will be overjoyed to keep in step with the indwelling Spirit. We pray this in the most powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:9).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/2/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, we pray that you will forgive this generation who has sealed this prophecy from the Book of Revelation for some future time by teaching that your children will escape what’s falling upon the world. Open their eyes that this prophecy is relevant in every age since the First Century until now and must be proclaimed so that your beloved children can learn how to stand firm. We thank you Lord that you have shown us that the prophecy is dynamic and not static to be encapsulated into some future time period. We pray that your faithful remnant in every church will take others by the hand and help them to come out from the world that has blinded them to this truth. We pray that they will see how fallen humanity’s greatest desire is to make everyone accept everyone else so that they can build a “brave new world” known also as the New World Order, which is currently being accomplished through their social media platforms. It’s also being accomplished by teaching everyone to accept the mews as the gospel truth. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand” (Revelation 22:10).

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Lord, for showing us again one of the greatest promises in your Word to contemplate when we feel weak and weary, when all of our strength and energy is suddenly gone. Instead of crying out and complaining, which we see many doing in our world today, we turn to you in quiet meditation. We patiently seek your presence in the midst of our calamity. We cry out softly and tenderly to you alone, the one true helper of our souls. Above all you have taught us to wait, to wait upon you to lift us up. We don’t turn to others and we especially don’t turn to the world for help. You have taught us to wait patiently upon you. So, we wait. Then suddenly we begin to feel the warmth of your heavenly glory fill our souls, waking up every fiber in our bodies restoring our strength and giving us a new burst of energy. We pray that your children will learn to turn to you, waiting upon you in quiet meditation, instead of immediately crying out to the whole world. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/30/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. The skies are grey and foreboding this morning, but our spirit is being renewed day by day. Thank you, Father, that we are no longer brought low by a world that’s greatly suffering from your judgement. Everything seems to be failing them from their government not supplying needs for all the people, to their trust in a changing technology to deliver them from the cesspool of drudgery and to their trust in pharmaceuticals to keep them healthy. With all the gloom and doom in the world, we still have the bright light of your glory to give us hope.  We have this hope even in the midst of the world’s despair that’s causing a great number of suicides and a rush to the counselor’s office. We have you, Father, to chart our path forward to our upward calling in Christ Jesus always keeping us on the straight and narrow. Thank you, Father, even as your wrath falls upon an evil world, we rejoice knowing that it will never touch your faithful remnant who are standing firm on your precious promises. Praise God! We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him” (I Thessalonians 5:9-10).

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Lord, for our lifeline to you in prayer. Without prayer and our belief that you are listening, that one day all evil will be overthrown, and that we will be delivered from all of our problems then we would not be able to stand firm. We have the faith of Jesus that no matter how bad it gets, we shall overcome. We pray that you will give us the patience of the saints who have gone on before us; those who faced ferocious beast, drowned, hung, and burned at the stake, yet remained obedient to all of your commandments. We pray that we will not be like the immature babes in our age who complain and cry aloud about the slightest problem or discomfort. We pray that all of your beloved children will grow up to maturity by putting their trust in you alone to provide for their every physical, emotional and psychological need. Help them to understand the sufficiency of Scripture. Although written two thousand years ago, it still contains everything we need for all of life and godliness. We pray this in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/27/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. Holy Lord, thank you for giving me this passage of Scripture many years ago that led me to center my first book, “Final Warning” around it as a true standard barrier for our day. We pray as your faithful children that we will lift this standard high in a world that’s grown much worse than ancient Sodom and Gomorrah. Teach your children again, before it’s too late, how to fear you by withdrawing from all evil and keeping all of your holy commandments. We are saddened that most today have no idea of the height and depth of your beautiful commandments that show us how-to walk-in holiness. We pray that that they will all glorify you, not only in words, but in their actions by walking as true believers in a fallen world by proclaiming your truth to all they come into contact. As the Creator of all that exist let us worship you alone forsaking all others who vie for our worship by robbing us of our time and talents. Lead us all to be your standard barriers upon this earth. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters” (Revelation 14:7).

A THANKSGIVING PRAYER

Good morning Heavenly Father. Today, Dear Lord, we want to give you thanksgiving for life, to breath in the fragrance of sweet love, experienced in days gone by and still cherished in our memories.  We pray that the cloudiness of emotionally sterile people will not erase this deep abiding love that we have for you. We pray that their floating along the surface of life missing its glories will not keep us from plummeting the depths of your magnificent love. A love that floods our souls allowing us to see the amazing beauty in all that you have made. We marvel at how you are changing us to experience all that life offers from the gentle breeze in the trees to the music that lifts our souls to meet you in the clouds. We thank you for life even if we are destined to live it alone. Yet, we will always cherish the memories of walking hand in hand with our beautiful kindred spirit as we so magically touched others together in your Name. We pray that all of your beloved children will find something to be especially thankful for today as they embrace all of their God given relationships, being careful not to let them needlessly slip from their hands. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (I Thessalonians 5:18).
