Subject: “Allow the Spirit to Speak”

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, we have noticed how most people react to confrontation or impending danger. It appears that the adrenaline level is increased exponentially as the danger approaches. Often times without thinking, hostile words and actions are called upon more as an automatic response to defend one’s character or oneself from any kind of attack. The response is often triggered the same, for either a verbal, physical or psychological attack. We know as Christians it should not be so for us, your beloved children who believe that you are present with us. Especially so, if we are defending the Gospel or our Christian character from others who claim to be Christian or from the pagans around us. If history can be judged, then we know that persecution will come from those who claim to be Christian or godlier than us. So, we pray that we trust you to always give us the correct verbal response believing that you will speak through us. We know, Oh Lord, that they are not just attacking us, but they are also attacking you, the Lord of glory. We pray this in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you” (Matthew 10:20).

 Subject: “Speaking in Boldness”

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, please lead us, your beloved children, to always use your anointed Words to guide our every response to the evil rhetoric coming from the world. Even if those in the world speak with vicious threats, we pray that we will not respond in kind as they do, but lead us, your beloved children, to always speak forth with sincere love and compassion. We know that this is our true power. This power is greater than all the advanced artillery in the world. It has the power to disarm our assailant. So, we pray, Oh Lord, that we will speak with “all boldness” not our words of lesser power, but only speak forth your mighty words that will break down barriers and advance your Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven. We are thrilled that you can give this boldness to speak to even the most uneducated and ignorant person as you fill them with your Holy Spirit. Please, Oh Lord, fill us with your Holy Spirit and send us forth to speak your words with boldness and power. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word” (Acts 4:29).

 Subject: “God’s in Control”

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray, Oh Lord, that you forgive your children who say they believe that you are in total control but then act otherwise. Every day it seems as though they are consumed with fighting the other political party to insist that their policies are followed. Every day we hear people say that this is more than what they can handle, as they become more influenced by conspiracy theories leading them in one direction and then another. Or they track down their Doctor for more psychotropic drugs to dull their mental anguish because they no longer trust you. We pray that they will start trusting you by using all their extra time and energy learning from you on how to stand firm in these dark days and then how to follow your beautiful way. If we say that we love God, then let’s trust You to work all things together for good. We know that you have called us for a purpose for we have seen it many times in our life; a little miracle here and a little miracle there. Praise God! We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to hispurpose” (Romans 8:28).

 Subject: “Grace”

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Lord, for your grace that’s really beyond our human understanding. We know that it must flow from your undying love for us, your adopted children. We understand that we can do nothing to earn this grace or even deserve it. It is, simply put, “your unmerited favor” that you choose to bestow upon your beloved children. Dear Lord, we thank you for your grace at all times but especially in a time of need. Throughout our entire pilgrimage we have faced many great mountains that seemed impossible to climb. With every new encounter, with every new project, and with every new request from you to do what seemed like the impossible, we received your powerful grace to accomplish the impossible. Today we face another larger mountain, so, in confidence we draw near to the throne of grace. We have confidence because we believe that you have called us to this monumental task that seems impossible. So, we pray to receive your mercy and your grace to help us to complete this task that lies before us with moral fortitude. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16, ESV).

 Subject: “Everlasting Hope”

Good morning Heavenly Father. As the ice on top of the distant trees gloriously glisten like beautiful diamonds from the bright Sun rising in the East it’s as though we are coming out of long deep freeze here in Texas. Our hope has been reignited that power will be finally restored for many who have gone for the better part of week without it. Although some of us have been blessed to continue with uninterrupted heat and power, most of the people have not. Our minds immediately race towards what it will be like at the conclusion of the Great Tribulation and Judgement Day. Some of us will pass unmoved through the Tribulation and enter into the bright glories of heaven, while others will be greatly shaken by the Tribulation, enter into judgment, and “eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord.” Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the blessed hope that you have given to all of your true children who are being changed into your likeness day by day. We will rejoice in our hope, be patient in tribulation, and be constant in prayer. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer” (Romans 12:12, ESV).

 Subject: “Approve What We Speak”

Good morning Heavenly Father. Most of us in the Western world grew up being taught to think before we speak. Yet, we see in today’s world, that is no longer relevant causing your children much confusion being tossed in one theological or prophetic direction then another. It has also caused broken relationships and heated arguments even among friends. We have also discovered, Oh Lord, that this has gotten much worse on social media where there is no longer any accountability for what people say. We pray that you, O LORD, will set a guard over our mouths causing us to not only think through what we say before we say it but to check first with the indwelling Spirit, allowing Him to approve or disprove it. If it takes longer to respond in spoken communication or written response, so be it, for then we know that we have followed your guidance. We pray if your beloved children speak otherwise that you will bring forth great conviction through the indwelling Spirit. We pray that our words will only edify, encourage, and build others up in Christian love. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Set a guard, O LORD, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips!” (Psalms 141:3, ESV).

 Subject: “Prayers Guiding Principle”

Good morning Heavenly Father. After nearly three years of writing out my morning prayers for God’s children to read and pray, the one guiding principle that became so apparently true was the prayers were not mine. Each prayer was so wonderfully dictated by you through the indwelling Spirit that it appeared amazingly miraculous. Thank you for leading us in our prayers for we did not know what to pray until we were moved by the Spirit. In each and every prayer we believe that you are somehow leading us to prepare for what lies ahead. Step by step you are opening our eyes to the great deception that is blinding the world and even most of the people who call upon your Name. They no longer believe in the classical faith “that we can’t but you can.” They are still trying to bring in the Kingdom by using the methods of this world and not trusting in your ways. We pray that as the storms descend upon fallen humanity that your children will trust in you to provide, believing that you know our needs before we ask. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him” (Matthew 6:8).
