Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/16/2019

Good morning Heavenly Father. We come humbly into your presence this morning asking that you show us how to sanctify You in our hearts. Your children fear many things in the world as it drifts further away from you. They fear to speak openly about you and specifically about your teachings that are so opposed to the world. They can easily parrot what others say, but don’t have your anointed systematic teachings in their hearts and upon their lips. We pray that you will help them to have your teachings planted securely upon their hearts so that they can easily, with great power, tell others about their unchangeable beliefs that are clearly unnegotiable. We pray that they will clearly articulate how your truths are opposed to the teachings accepted by the world. We pray that they will speak these truths in meekness but with great power, conviction, and fear of the Lord. Help us not to fear what the world can do to us, rather help us to always fearfully trust in you alone to provide for all of our needs. You are our only hope. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear” (I Peter 3:15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/15/2019

Good morning Heavenly Father. You know Lord that from the beginning we have always desired to be called a “good and faithful servant” not only at the end of our time here on earth but at each point during our pilgrimage. We have desired to use our gifts to build your Kingdom by strengthening your disciples to stand firm in the faith. Thank you for teaching us that the gifts given to us are not our natural abilities to perform mediocre works but are Spiritual gifts to perform great tasks beyond what we ever thought possible. We pray that all your beloved children will discover their own unique Spiritual gifts and then use them for your work. Thank you for showing us time and again that it is You that’s actually working through us performing the most amazing work that’s nothing less than miraculous. We are saddened to think that on the last day when we stand before You that many will be like the “unfaithful servant” who buried their talents. Oh Lord, please awaken their gifts within their souls giving them courage to use them. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord” (Matthew 25:21).

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Lord, for delivering us from the exhausting rigor of trying to obey all your commandments. Through our unfeigned faith and trust in you alone, you have miraculously written your commands upon our hearts. Thank you for your magnificent love that overflows in our hearts allowing it to flow through us to others. Thank you for removing the heart of stone and giving us a pure heart through the power of transformation; giving us the ability to truly love others as we should with no ulterior motives. Thank you, Lord, for giving us a new conscious that’s being kept in check by the indwelling Spirit convicting us when we stray from the path of righteousness. We pray that you will deliver your children from the fear of breaking one of your commandments by showing them how to trust in you alone. Open their eyes to the amazing possibilities of righteous living with little or no effort, if we continue our spiritual growth in Christ. Show them that they have the ability, in-Christ, to say no to all the temptations of the devil. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned” (I Timothy 1:5).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/13/2019

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Lord, for teaching us how to pray, not to be seen or to make a show of our piety before others but to pray discreetly in the right attitude. Thank you, Lord, for teaching us through your anointed Scripture that lifting holy hands is truly a sign of our submission to You, as our one true God. It’s also a statement by us that we are approaching the throne of grace with repentant hearts, not seeking to hide our sins, but openly confessing them to You, our Lord. It is also our commitment to cast away every evil and mean-spirited thought that would hinder our prayers to You, our King. We pray that all your beloved children will understand and believe that they can enter the Spirit everywhere in quiet prayer of faith, without doubting. Although we may be a bit more discrete in lifting physical hands in a public place, we assuredly lift them in the Spirit without wrath and without doubting. Thank you, Father God, for listening to our many prayers in both public and private places. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting” (I Timothy 2:8).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/12/2019

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray that you will lead all your beloved children, contrary to their political affiliation, to pray for the current President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. We humble ourselves before You, Oh Lord, lead us in this prayer. We pray that you will humble Mr. Trump before your throne as you have humbled great kings in the past. Allow him to see your great authority not only in Heaven but over everyone and everything upon the earth. We pray that he will stop trying to run the country as a powerful businessman but as a humble servant of God. We pray that you will guard his tongue to always speak the truth and not follow the world in maliciously attacking his opponents. Lead him not to fear the past but to trust in your forgiveness. We pray that Donald Trump will demonstrate his trust in you alone instead of all his many lawyers and his old ways of conducting business. We pray, Oh Lord, that you will lead him to follow your instructions explicitly in the governance of this Nation. We pray this in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty” (I Timothy 2:1-2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/11/2019

Good morning Heavenly Father. Our hearts are very grieved today as we witness one lie after another. One wonders who can really be trusted to tell the truth. Especially it’s troubling when we see your own children and our political leaders speaking one lie after another. Unfortunately, many have legitimized their lies by withholding certain facts, slightly exaggerating, or twisting the truth. They have failed to see that all lying is an abomination to you and puts them in league with Satan, the father of lies. We pray that all your beloved children will be convicted to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth as a matter of conscience, contrary to the consequences. We know that speaking a lie always has dire consequences and demonstrates to the world that one’s Christianity is not genuine. Oh Lord, this is especially troubling when we know that the coming Antichrist will deceive the entire world with his outrageous lies. Help us to stand firm and not be so easily led astray by lying deception. Give us great discernment, Oh Lord, and strength to rebuke the lie. We pray this in the Most Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds” (Colossians 3:9; see also Proverbs 12:22).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/10/2019

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, we have been watching for your magnificent return in the clouds for some time now. With every passing day, we feel that your coming is so much closer. As the whole world passes their day completely oblivious to the many signs that your coming is at hand, we feel stronger than ever in our Spirit that things are changing rapidly in preparation for your arrival. We have observed the abrupt changes in the seasons and the weather patterns, where we are seeing some of the hottest days on record. We have seen an increase in the severity and number of earthquakes. We have observed the odd changes in the wildlife where some seem to have increased in numbers while others appear to be missing. We have noticed the erratic actions in others and especially in our leaders making rash decisions. We have felt the powers of darkness seeking to disrupt our amazing relationship with you. We may not know the day or the hour, but we do know your coming is soon. We pray that all your children will be ready. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh” (Matthew 25:13).
