Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/24/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. Every day, Oh Lord, we long for your coming, to establish your Kingdom and begin to rule in the hearts of all men. Every day the scientists, the professors of higher learning, and even our own prophets claim that planet earth is headed to a global catastrophe where it can no longer support life as we now know it. We have for thousands of years seen the signs of your coming. We have seen the fulfillment of many of your prophecies concerning the end. Perhaps every successive generation has from the time you were taken up in the clouds, believed that they were the last generation. While some tried to force your kingdom upon the earth, others set back and did little to expand your kingdom. They like us believed that they would see you coming in the clouds with their own eyes. Therefore, we continue to pray Lord Jesus and hope that your coming will be quick. Show us, Lord, what we can do to hasten your coming. Show us what we need to do in preparation for that magnificent event. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus” (Revelation 22:20)

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/23/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. What tremendous joy we have in our hearts that you have chosen us individually before the foundation of the world. We were not chosen because of our race or nationality, or because of our wealth. We were chosen in your Son before the world was created motivated by your love before time existed. Knowing and believing this, Oh Lord is a great motivator to live Holy lives. We pray that no matter what situation we find ourselves in or what country we reside, that we will continue the transformation process by putting off the old life and putting on the new life in Christ. We pray for all of your children today to strengthen their faith by believing that you have chosen them before the world was created to live holy lives before you. Lead them, Oh Lord, to live every moment of their lives before you in love without blame. We pray that all of your chosen children from around the world would look beyond their restrictive governments and learn to live in harmony with one another contrary to their race or nationality. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love” (Ephesians 1:4).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/22/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. We know Father that all your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, said and did while He walked amongst us was an example as to how we should live in this world. We simply don’t believe that you do anything by accident for everything you do has a purpose to strengthen our character and resolve to fulfill your will and not ours. Three times Jesus prayed the same words in the garden (see v. 44) “O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.” We pray that we will not despise our current situation, especially if you brought us to it, but have the strength of character and resolve to complete our mission as the people of God. Let us arise with one united voice saying, “we will no longer allow this nation to destroy the minds of our children by teaching them lies and your worthless psychobabble. We will no longer listen to the mouthpiece of the Antichrist spirit that’s taken over the news outlets and the opposing political leadership of this country.” We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done” (Matthew 26:42).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/21/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. We are sorely grieved with what we are witnessing in our country today, where our nation’s leaders and their mouthpieces, on respected news services, are violating this biblical command. We are not necessarily concerned about the pagan, but we are very much concerned for those who call upon the Name of Christ and brazenly violate this command. They can call out every lie from the other side but fail to look at their own lies mixed with half-truths. They can make accusations about the other side but fail to see their own inability to keep all the civil laws. We pray, Oh Lord, that you will bring great conviction upon all those in national leadership and the news services to repent of their own trespasses first before attempting to bring others to repentance and judgment. We pray that you will expose their every sin so that they will be moved to stop their self-righteous judgment and openly repent of their own sins first. Let your righteous judgment fall upon all sides exposing them for who they truly are as they stand before You. We humbly pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye” (Matthew 7:5).

Good morning Heavenly Father. We thank you, God, that you’re not some tyrannical ruler ready to cast us into the pit of hell for the least misstep. For indeed you are blessed and so very happy that you have blessed us with every spiritual blessing by bringing all of your beloved children into a closer relationship with you. We thank you, Father, with our arms and hearts open wide for all that you have done for us through your beloved Son Jesus Christ. We count our blessings every day, for the days are gloriously brighter, the music is so much sweater, and the indwelling Spirit fills our every emotional and psychological need with Your knowledge and compassionate love. Day by day we feel you drawing us ever closer to you teaching us, among other things, Kingdom principles that not only delight us but absolutely amazes us, that by giving our self to others in service it always brings a greater blessing to us. Thank you, Father God, for teaching us this most beautiful principle that will continue with us forever into heavenly bliss. All glory to God! We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/19/2020

Good afternoon Heavenly Father. “The love of Christ constrains us” opens up a whole new horizon and helps us to understand why we are so driven to complete all of our work for you. Your love powerfully moves us from one assignment to another in our unending service to you by serving others even when we don’t feel that we are physically able. Following you, Oh Lord, in your death upon the Cross, we have now been made alive; not to live for ourselves but to live for you. Amen! Yes, we believe that your deep abiding love constrains us from following the ways of a selfish world, constantly pulling us back, and moves us to give ourselves to others as you gave your life for us. Therein, we have found our true joy and peace that sustains us even during our most difficult struggles in life. Although our prayers are late today, we pray that they will help all of your beloved children to understand how you continue to work in our lives through the indwelling Spirit to follow you in our service to others. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again” (II Corinthians 5:14-15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/18/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. Someone, or perhaps many of your children are really not listening to the Spirit. Otherwise, we would not have so many different opinions, so many different prophecies, and so many different interpretations of your infallible Word, the Holy Bible. We are convinced in our spirit that there is only one voice from only one Spirit who speaks for only one God. We cannot all be right with so many different opinions. So, we pray that you guard our mouths, especially in these last days, to not speak anything claiming that it’s from you unless we know for certain that it is. Perhaps, there has never been a time more urgent, for your chosen people to speak with one voice articulating exactly what we must do in these days to stand against the fallen world run by Satan and the powers of darkness. We want to hear your marching orders directly from You, our Commander in Chief, the Lord of Glory. We know, Oh Lord, that we must draw a line and not allow the evil world to pass over it affecting the holiness of your beloved children. We must come out from among them and remain pure. We pray this in the Most Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
