Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/15/2018

Good morning Heavenly Father. We always rejoice in your presence, because it is you that takes the burdens from our hearts. Forgive us Father when we don’t live up to your expectations. At times if we are honest the old sin nature wants to direct our path, instead of keeping in step with the Spirit. Continue to show all thy beloved children the absolute joy of following your ways and not ours. For indeed you always know what’s best. As we face another day we sincerely desire to do your will, so please continue to give us ears to hear what the Spirit says. Help us to feel those holy nudges even if they interfere with what we are currently doing. Above all let us not rush ahead or lag behind. Help all your children to always ask, “Is this what Jesus Christ would do?” We will soon discover a whole new set of priorities putting us right in the center of your perfect will. The best and happiest place to be. Amen. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/14/2018

Good morning Heavenly Father. We come humbly before you early this morning pleading with you to open the eyes of your wayward children. For they have been captured by the Jezebel spirit to graft onto Christianity the mysteries of darkness. They no longer trust you alone to solve their multitude of emotional and psychological problems. They no longer trust you to transform their miserable lives into beautiful new creations illuminating the light of your glory, but have integrated the world’s counsel into the pure doctrines of holiness. We pray that your churches will drive out this idolatrous teaching, which has kept thy precious children in bondage to the old life. We pray that they will learn how to counsel and teach from thy Holy Word alone. We pray that you will have mercy on those who have ignored your warnings and are now enduring great tribulation in their lives. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols” (Revelation 2:20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/13/2018

Good morning Heavenly Father. We are deeply grieved about a situation that we see in our world today and that’s even present among thy children. Where the relentless drive for individualism has fragmented your church into every man expressing his own doctrine or beliefs. This has created fights, hostility, and splits among thy people instead of expressing true selfless love for one another. We pray that thy children would spend more time sitting under the same learned teachers and then studying thy Word while filled with the Holy Spirit to confirm their teachings, instead of constantly going to countless other teachers and news outlets where many of them are expressing things from their own vain imaginations instead of the truth. As you know LORD this has created organizations like social media giving everyone an opportunity to express their own opinions about sacred truth while assimilating the false opinions of others. We pray, Oh Lord that you open the eyes of your beloved children. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind” (Philippians 2:2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/12/2018

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we come before you today we are so sad about how our President is being treated, but more so about him as a person. We pray that as a child of God that you would draw him ever closer to you teaching him the beauty and power of the new life in Christ. Please help him, Oh Lord to put off the old life and put on the new. Please help him to grow spiritually from one degree of glory to another becoming all that you want him to be. We pray Father that you give him both physical and mental strength to stand up under the undo pressure of a negative and hateful media. Keep him strong in the face of such intense opposition. Above all we pray LORD that you alone direct his path by surrounding him with Godly advisors. Finally, please Lord, protect him from those who would do him or his family harm. As you know Lord, we are praying for our President and leader Donald J. Trump. We pray that every true believer in Christ will join us in this prayer. It is in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Amen

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty” (I Timothy 2:1-2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/11/2018

Good morning Heavenly Father. We come humbly before you today wanting to express our love for you and our bewilderment for all that’s happening in the world. We know that you have a plan, because from your perspective history has already been written. We have seen the eb and flow of history from the great missionary efforts to the horrific times of persecution to lukewarmness and false prophecy causing thy people to stumble. We appear to be in this latter stage which sorely grieves our hearts. We pray for a great awakening among thy people. Awake them, Oh Lord from their slumber. Cause them to turn away from all that brings them down. To shun all so-called prophecy that ignores the great plans that you have for your children. Plans to build up and not tear down. Plans to transform all thy beloved children to become the light of your glory in a very dark world. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up: for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you” (Jeremiah 42:10).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/10/2018

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are reminded once again how much we hunger and thirst for thy holy Word in the Bible. Every time we return to it, it’s like returning to an old friend. We wonder how we could have stayed away from it for so long, when hours seem like days and days seem like years. As we read thy Word slowly and methodically in the Spirit we discover once again how difficult it is to stop, giving way to all time. Thank you Lord for showing us that the hunger for thy anointed Word apart from human and vain interpretations is indeed the true mark of a Christian. Thirst for thy knowledge alone, apart from all so-called science and vain imaginations is indeed the mark of a true believer in Christ. Our desire to be completely transformed into the righteousness of Christ is above all the mark of a faithful Christian. We pray that all who call upon you will flee worldliness and aim for perfection. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen. ” (I Timothy 6:20-21, please read the whole context).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/9/2018

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we keep hearing these words, “They that wait upon the LORD.” Although they that do have many blessings, we that are completely honest find it at times very difficult to do so. Especially, in a fast-paced world that expects everything to be done immediately. We pray, and we wait in faith. We don’t have a yes or a no, so we wait believing that your timing is perfect. We have seen that time and again. Praise God. We have also discovered on our journey that there are times when you just want us to patiently wait upon you so that we have time to rest in the Spirit deepening our relationship with you alone. Praise God. Help all your beloved children to realize that the timing is yours and not ours. Help them to see, Oh Lord that waiting upon you must not be an excuse for inaction or laziness. We humbly pray this in the loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/8/2018

Good morning Heavenly Father. We ask ourselves why is the news media and the world so obsessed with reporting negative things about President Trump, reporting every murderous evil act on the planet and glorifying Hollywood? As we surmise that nearly every news article and Facebook post is obsessed with this reporting we are reminded once again that the children of disobedience are following the course of this world. They are continually inspired by the prince of the power of the air. We pray that thy beloved children would no longer follow or participate in this evil that’s affecting the minds of all the unbelievers. We pray that their time will be spent seeking the new life in Christ. The higher life that transcends the foolishness of this world. To seek the mind of Christ in all things. To meditate long on the beauty given to us in Christ Jesus. Let us glorify in these things. Let them be our obsession to the glory of God. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/7/2018

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father God of all mercies, that no matter where we are, nor how alone we may be, you are there with us in the Spirit. We pray that all thy children would anticipate your mighty presence when we quite ourselves before you the LORD of all glory. The unbelieving world cannot receive what you have so freely given us without faith. Let us tarry long in the Spirit everyday, but especially on the Lord’s Day seeking to deepen our relationship with you. Give us ears to hear what you say to us, not only for us, but for all thy beloved children. Help us to never run ahead of you or lag behind, but allowing you alone to move us in the Spirit saying what you want to say to us your people, to us your holy church. As we wait let us hear your words alone and not the words of our own vain imagination that has gripped so many in our day. Everyone has a prophecy, but very few speak for you. We love You intensely, Oh Lord. We pray this in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen

“I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet” (Revelation 1:9-10).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/6/2018

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father, for allowing us to pray in the Spirit. In the Spirit we feel so connected to You our Heavenly Father. Everything around us stops. Time itself is no more. What a wonderful foretaste of things to come. Thank you Lord for all prayer. What a privilege and a responsibility it is to pray for our brothers and sisters from around the world. Not just a canned script or prideful rhetoric, but something much deeper, as You, through the Spirit, lead us to pray. Let us pray today for all your beloved children who have been afflicted with a disease of the mind, specifically we are praying for those afflicted with Alzheimer’s. What have we done, Oh Lord, to have brought this dreadful disease upon us? If there is something that needs to be changed in our environment or food supply or the administering of drugs, please let us know. Help us to repent of any wrong doing so that your beloved children would be delivered from this horrible disease. We pray this in the Spirit and in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” (Ephesians 6:18).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/4/2018

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray that you look down on this world and open the eyes of the unbelievers. Those who have been blinded by the god of this world. They have called bad good and good they have called bad. As they rush headlong into the abyss of death and destruction they sing kumbaya believing that their love and acceptance of every man’s religion and lifestyle has made them perfect. As they follow the god of this world they look in disdain upon your holy children. Open their eyes, Oh LORD, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ should shine upon them. Let them also see the bright light of our transformation, becoming all that we are recreated to be in Christ Jesus. We pray that we will not join them, but let our light shine so brightly before them that they will question their blind allegiance to the powers of darkness, the god of this world. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them” (II Corinthians 4:4).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/3/2018

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, that you have not left us alone, but speak to us through the indwelling Spirit. We don’t hear many voices, but only one. As true believers that have a tremendous desire to do your will alone we know when you speak. We know when we are in the Spirit. We pray that all thy children would not fear what the world thinks or their negative psychological classification for hearing You, but continue to do thy will by listening to the Spirit’s direction. We pray, Oh Lord that you will continue to speak to all thy beloved children. Giving them direction in their lives and showing them the things to come. We know that your Spirit never contradicts the Bible, but opens our eyes to a greater truth that cannot be understood by the carnal mind. Praise God. Help us all to be like minded, unlike the world immersed in great confusion, but seeking only to do your will in all things. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:13).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/2/2018

Good morning Heavenly Father. Help us Father to keep our minds from wandering from one subject to another. To keep it from dwelling on those things that are contrary to sound doctrine and holiness. Help your children to never dabble in foolishness and mind games that have no value. We pray, Oh Lord, that you help us to always gird up our minds with sound doctrine, always ready at a moments notice to share it with a confused world. A world that has embraced a foolish ideology thinking it their salvation. Let us not fear their empty canned reheroritc that can be easily diluted with the truth. We pray that all thy beloved children can easily share the hope and grace given to them by Jesus Christ. A hope that will be fulfilled at Your glorious coming. A grace that will overlook all our trespasses through forgiveness accomplished by the shedding of Your blood making us into beautiful new creations. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (I Peter 1:13).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/1/2018

Good morning Heavenly Father. Like coming out of dark cave to a bright light we feel that your coming is at hand. Help us, Oh Lord to use all our strength and resources for your glory working harder than ever to prepare thy children for your glorious return. As we embark on a new day in a new year we know you have many things planned that will awaken your children and bring deep conviction upon the rest of humanity to recognize You as the one true God, the Creator of all that exists. We pray that 2018 will be a year of great discovery bringing to light your eternal truth for all to see with open eyes. We pray that all your beloved children would no longer stay silent or be afraid, but speak loudly to their neighbors about your great love for a lost and dying world. About the greatest gift of all time, salvation to humanity. We pray that the silent majority will no longer remain silent. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates” (Zechariah 8:16).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/31/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Decisions, decisions, decisions; we are often met with many decisions in our life. Some big and others small, but every decision is important, because it affects our standing with You. Oh Lord, we pray that you lead us to always seek your counsel first. Instead of being led by our emotions or the will of others. We always trust you to know what’s best for us and what’s best for others. Keep us from being forced by others to do something against thy perfect will. Help us to acknowledge you before others stressing how important it is to follow your will and not necessarily theirs. As we come to the end of another year, lead us to examine the many decisions we have made. Help us to see clearly which decisions were made according to thy perfect will and which ones were not. Although we may have already asked for forgiveness for our bad decisions, not according to thy will and have already suffered the consequences; help us, dear Lord to always seek your counsel going forward trusting you to direct our paths. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/30/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Well, it’s almost the start of another New Year and many of your beloved children wonder how long it will be before your wrath is poured down on this godless country. Much of the evil has retreated during the current administration, but you know that they are still there. They still speak forcefully through the news and social media. We pray that your children will not fight fire with fire, but with the light of your holiness shown forth with strength and determination. We pray, Oh Lord, that they will stop sharing the enemy’s hateful agenda and evil post, but only share your truth so that your voice can be heard. So, that it can be heard above the loud clamor of paganism. So, that it will drown out the evil voices on social media. Let us always be a force for truth and righteousness and not for evil and hatred. It doesn’t do our soul any good to constantly see their perversions. We pray this in the most Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops” (Matthew 10:27).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/29/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We know, Oh Lord, that the time is short. The battle lines have already been drawn between the children of Light and the Sons of Darkness. Our hearts are so grieved for the lukewarm Christians, because they are so immersed in sin that they are unable to see the truth. Please Lord knock even louder on the door of their hearts so that they will hear it and open the door. We all know someone that’s a part of this group who is experiencing your rebuke and chastisement to get their attention. Lead us also to stop participating in the works of darkness that will dim our light making us ineffective in the battle. Lead us to put on the armor of light that displays your holiness to an evil world. Help us dear Lord to be strong in the battle and to never miss an opportunity to speak only the truth to a dying world. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light” (Romans 13:12).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/27/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for showing us in thy Holy Scripture that the true test of being a Christian is love. To love as you have always loved us. For indeed, your love never changes. We can do nothing to earn it, nor deserve it. Teach us, we pray, that we love others as you have loved us. Even when others say hateful things or persecute us for our beliefs. We pray that we even show our love to others when we are faced with reckless and uncaring drivers on our roads and interstates. Help us to truly love one another from the heart. Continue to show us, Oh Lord, how to let your love flow through us to others. By not focusing on the wrong, but focusing on your magnificent love for us and your desire to share it with other. As we do, we have learned that powerful love can also come back to you from those whom we love, making the perfect triangle of love. Praise God. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love” (I John 4:8).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/26/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray Father that you always lead us in our understanding of thy Holy Scripture. We are grieved that so many in our day who claim to be thy children have so misunderstood thy divine truth. A truth meant to set us free from our social norms and its blind embrace of evil for the sake of unity. Unlike ages past this embrace has extended to every so-called god. It has embraced every form of perversion. It has done so for the sake of peace and unity. We pray that you open the eyes of all thy children so that they can see that real peace can only be obtained through total separation from all evil and the rejection of other so-called gods. Indeed, our total embrace of holiness will separate us from an evil world and will be like a sword in the land. We pray that through separation from an evil world and the belief in your Gospel that they will find true peace. We pray this in the most Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword” (Matthew 10:34).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/24/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we humble ourselves on Christmas Eve we are mindful of that first Christmas where the King of Heaven, the Divine Son of God came in the lowliest of conditions to be the true Savior of all humanity. His first ministry was to the poorest shepherds tending their flocks while the wealthiest of Kings came to honor Him. We pray that all thy beloved children would look beyond the Christmas trappings of a selfish world to the humble beginnings of our Savior who came from glory. Remind them to pause much in humble adoration of our blessed Savior. Indeed, you inhabit the praise of thy creation. Let this be a time of true service one to another utilizing our Spiritual gifts to the glory of God. Indeed, the true gift of the season is not what goes under the tree, but what goes into the heart of man, the love of God made manifest through His indwelling Spirit. We pray that all thy children feel this magnificent love allowing it to flow through them to others. We pray this in the holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn” (Luke 2:7).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/23/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We fall prostrate before you today in the Spirit not knowing how to pray or what to pray. All we do know is we long to be in thy presence. There is nothing on earth that can satisfy that longing. Not social media, not entertainment, not even our closest friends can satisfy that longing. So, we come as we are; heavy hearted, unsure, questioning and drifting from one thought to another. But we come hoping that you will clear things up as your Spirit intercedes with ours. As we quite ourselves before you we begin to experience the peace first, that defies understanding as calmness enters our soul with great joy just knowing that you are here with us. Praise God. Now our prayers can begin to take shape as you impress upon us what’s really important in life. Thank you, Father God, for giving us your Spirit to always dwell with us to make intercession with our spirit. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Romans 8:26).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/22/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, teach us to hope against hope as our distant forefather did. Even when it seemed impossible he still hoped. And as he hoped he set out from his own country putting action to his hope. Demonstrating his faith in the promise. Help us in these dark days to do the same. To hope against hope. As we view the political horizon and the real probability that the evil empire and liberal administration will come back to power with vengeance against the evangelical Christians we pray that we hope against hope. We pray that we no longer rely on the political debate, but return to the tried and proven Gospel truth. The only thing that will open the eyes of an evil nation bent on removing You from every segment of society. Give us strength to live out our hope as righteous believers in the midst of a wicked world. Help us to hope against hope. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be” (Romans 4:18).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/21/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are mindful of the limit that many place upon helping others or caring for them in the time of need. Perhaps in their mind they say, “that’s all I can do.” Whatever compassion they demonstrate in many respects is simply a show for others. For most there is little staying power. Indeed, it’s better to trust in you, Oh Lord, rather than put our trust in man. For indeed you are truly good all the time, because your mercy endures forever. Thank you Lord for your everlasting compassion upon all thy children. A loving heart that truly cares about their well being all the time. Thank you Lord that your mercy always moves your compassion to act in our best interest. For indeed your mercy is described as ‘compassion in action.’ We pray that our compassion for others will always move us to act. To alleviate their suffering by simply being there with them – an act of compassion in the loneliest time of the year. We pray this in the loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever” (Psalms 118:1).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/20/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Although we are entering late into our prayer closet today, we feel compelled to publish yet another prayer for your glory. We are deeply saddened that so many of your dear children are still cast about by every wind of doctrine and false prophecy. They continue to chase after every new teaching or prophetic proclamation that weakens their faith, dashes their hope, creates further confusion. We pray that you will raise up Godly teachers and preachers that only desire to speak the truth and not make a name for themselves or line their pockets with profit. We pray that you give all your beloved children great discernment in these last days to not judge your Word with scientific discovery or vain imagination, but learn how to rightly divide the truth of God. Understanding the type of literature, it’s motive, its context and its historical relevance to properly divide the word of truth; significant for the proper application for the hearer. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (II Timothy 2:15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/19/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for the beautiful vision of Heaven. It was like rising out of the dark clouds of a violent storm to a bright sunlight sky that stretches on to eternity. What a gloriously warm feeling. Everything is pure and uncontaminated by evil. The most remarkable thing is it’s our future that has always been there waiting for us. In the future which already exists the battle against evil has already been won. Praise God. We pray that we live every moment on earth in the present time with anticipation of our glorious future with You. Let us not fear evil for indeed you have already overcome it. We pray that you help all thy beloved children to see how powerful love is in our fight against evil. Help them to look beyond their present struggles and take hope in our future, but also the strong and mighty Spirit that dwells in each true believer in-Christ. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (I John 4:4).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/18/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for being a loving Father who always knows what’s best for His children. How many times over the years we have asked for things and have not received them. At the time we may have been deeply saddened, questioning if you had heard our request. At other times we had been ridiculed by so called Spiritual Christians claiming that we just didn’t have enough faith. We praise you Lord that you have taught us that you really know what’s best by withholding those things that would hurt us in the long run. We praise you that instead of giving us the wrong things you gave us everything else we needed for life and godliness. You turned our sadness into peace and joy. Thank you, Father, that we can keep asking for what we want, but our faith is in you who always knows what’s best for His beloved children. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” (Matthew 7:11).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/17/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. “God will not be mocked.” We hear those words so strong this morning. Hollywood, the liberals, and those on the West Coast of the United States must hear today that God will not be mocked. Let’s you repent soon heat waves and fires are just the beginning. What’s on the horizon will be even more horrifying let’s you repent. So, we beseech you in the Name of Christ to repent of your mockery and recognize God as the Creator of all that exists. He is not blind to your mockery. He has seen your immorality in the streets. He has seen your many movies denying His existence. So, please we beg of you to repent today and recognize the only True God of your salvation. For it is written that a man will reap what he has sown. For many years now, you have sown every form of perversion from homosexuality to the transgender. You have become fools by denying your God. This is your last chance to repent. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/16/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. It breaks my heart that so many who claim to know you have been deceived. Any talk of the coming Antichrist sends them into a fit of rage or denial, claiming that they won’t be here, so why discuss it. Yet, they fail to see that your beloved children will recognize the Antichrist before your return in glory. They fail to see the relationship between the falling away and the revealing of the son of perdition or the dreaded Antichrist. As the Day approaches we pray that you will strengthen your faithful remnant. Keep them from being swept away by the great deception that will overtake the entire world. Open their eyes so that they will recognize the evil one or the son of perdition when he takes his position of leadership. Above all we pray that you will keep them from falling away and denying your truth in the Holy Scripture. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition” (II Thessalonians 2:3).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/15/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray Father God that all your beloved children will remember, especially this time of the year, that it’s more blessed to give than receive. We pray that our giving will be much more than gifts in Christmas wrap. That it will be much more than Christmas cards. That it will even be much more than writing a check. We pray that our giving will be of ourselves. Coming alongside to comfort and encourage. To give our time to others. To the weak let us lift their spirits by meeting their needs. To work with our own hands to make their life a bit easier. Let us not get caught up in the pagan festivities to give so that we too can receive. Oh, what joy it is to give without expecting anything in return. The blessing we receive is beyond words. We pray, Oh Lord, that all thy children will experience this blessing, for indeed it is more blessed to give than receive. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“In every way I showed you that by working hard like this we should help the weak and remember the words that the Lord Jesus himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive’” (Acts 20:35).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/14/2017

We come ever so humbly before you today our King and our Lord. Thank you, Father, for always being there when we need you most. Perhaps the world can call it chance or just good luck when things work out for the best. Unfortunately, they are also there during the hard times as well mocking us by asking us, where is your God now. However, what they fail to see is that you had never left. For indeed you are always with us through the indwelling Spirit continuing to give us comfort, direction, and the assurance that you know what’s best for your beloved children. Moreover, we have peace that defies understanding. Something the world always longs for, but can never truly receive apart from the indwelling Spirit. We pray that all your children would truly experience this benefit by not grieving the Holy Spirit. By not grieving Him through participation in immorality or by denying his presence. We pray this in the Blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Do not grieve the Holy Spirit, by whom you were marked with a seal for the day of redemption” (Ephesians 4:30).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/11/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for another beautiful and productive day. We enter our prayer closet today with great joy in our hearts. We always find it amazing how intrinsically these two facts are related, beautiful and productive. Productivity and direction in one’s life brings great joy making everything beautiful, which is diametrically opposed to being depressed or having a proverbial bad day. Thank you, Father, for teaching us that we were not created to be idle or as the Proverbs refers to as the sluggard. We were, on the other hand, created for good works and a Workman approved by God. So, we pray Lord that you motivate your children to stay busy and focused on their work. We pray that they will see their work and that it encourages them to get up and get busy saying, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let’s rejoice and be glad in it.” We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“This is the day that the LORD has made; let’s rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalms 118:24).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/10/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, how did we as a people ever reduce worship to a few hours one or two days a week. We pray Father that you teach all your beloved children how to worship You in the Spirit seven days a week. For indeed You are worthy of our worship all the time. Thank you, Father, for showing us that only complete surrender to You as Lord will ever allow us to be truly in the Spirit. And it’s only the truth that keeps us in the Spirit making it possible to worship You as we should. The truth that You have given us everything we need for life and godliness making it possible to have total dependence on You alone. So, please help thy children to discover all this truth from Holy Scripture as You lead them through the indwelling Spirit. We pray that we will always worship You in both Spirit and in truth. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23-24).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/9/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. You know, Oh Lord how much we detest testing and especially the times of temptations that may arise from our old sin nature. Although we know testing is important to strengthen our faith and dependence on You alone, we can still say we don’t like it much. So, you have taught us that we can pray daily that you would not lead us into these periods of testing and that You would not allow us to be tempted by our old sin nature or the devil. We know that the devil is on a short leash and that he must obey your commands. So, please we ask that you keep the old tempter at bay or give us spiritual strength to resist him. For we are not unaware of his many wiles. We pray for all thy beloved children who have not done well in resisting him nor have they fared well in allowing your testing to strengthen their faith. Oh Lord, we beseech you to open their eyes and give them strength to resist. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen” (Matthew 6:13).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/8/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray, Oh Lord that all your beloved children never experience the agony and guilt of unforgiveness that blocks your forgiveness to us. On the other hand, the power of forgiveness makes all things new. For indeed you have taught us that true forgiveness from the heart, and not just from the mouth, brings healing to our soul. For indeed it removes the hurt. A hurt so bad it felt as though our heart had been ripped out and we were left void of all feelings. Yet, the numbness is only short lived, because we have discovered that true forgiveness allows you to bring healing to our soul and a sincere love from a heart that has been restored. A powerful love even to those who had hurt us. Truly this is a miracle. Amen. We pray that all thy children experience the joy and freedom of extending true forgiveness to others. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 6:14-15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/7/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. After two thousand years Lord it doesn’t look like we have changed much. Even many of your beloved children are trapped and blinded by the enemy unwilling to look beyond their comfortable beliefs. Unwilling to see if there is a deeper meaning. Unwilling to allow you to expand their understanding. They have become so assured of their knowledge, especially their religious knowledge that they viciously attack the prophets and teachers sent by you to open their eyes. Yes, nothing has changed much in two thousand years when we are willing to attack what we don’t understand. When we are willing to persecute others without looking deeper into the matter. To listen for more than 30 seconds without running away clasping our ears. To read beyond the first paragraph with an open and teachable spirit. Yet they spend countless hours listening to the false prophets being blown about by every wind of doctrine. We pray that all your children will look deeper into your teachings to discover the truth, for its only the truth that will set them free. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots” (Luke 23:34).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/5/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord when indecisions finally come with clarity and decisiveness. Praise the Lord. Teach us, Oh Lord to always wait on you before pressing ahead with our own intellect believing we have considered all the facts. We have painfully discovered that we must wait upon the Lord even if it takes a very long time. But we do so with the knowledge that you always know what’s best. We have seen time and again how you miraculously work out everything to the good. When we grow impatient and want to press ahead with our own plans please remind us of this fact. We know in time you will show us the right way and the decision will be solidified in our thinking. It brings great joy and strength when we are finally confident in the correct decision, for indeed we do feel as though, we can mount up with wings as eagles, shall run, and not be weary; and shall walk, and not faint” We pray this in the beloved Name of Jesus Christ our Lord; who has not forgotten us. Amen

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/4/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are reminded of not proclaiming our prayers on the street corner to be seen by men. We are sure this also applies to posting our prayers on social media and our websites. Although we believe our more personal prayers are just between us, and that these prayers are more of a homily for the people. Specifically, for thy beloved children to help them in their Spiritual growth. We pray Father that you will continue to lead us in these public prayers that serve as a homily for thy children. We pray that everything we write either in comment or blog articles will always serve to edify. To build up other believers in Christ. We pray that all we do will be for your glory for we proclaim now that we have no power in ourselves to produce anything that would truly help others to be all you want them to be. We pray this in the beloved Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly” (Matthew 6:6).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/3/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for giving us one day in seven. Not to play. Not to attend or watch the games, but truly a day of rest. You have created us and have told us how important it is to rest on the seventh day. We must have time to regenerate. Not only physically, but emotionally and psychologically. You have even showed us the best way, the only way, to do that – through our religious exercise. It’s absolutely essential that we have our quiet time before You, Oh Lord. A time to praise. A time to listen to thy Holy Word. A time to meditate upon thy Word. A time to worship in song. A time to offer up heart felt prayers in the Spirit. It’s all for you, but also for our wellbeing. Indeed, a time to regenerate by doing everything in the Spirit. A renewal of our mind, body, and emotions. Praise God. Thank you, Father, for our lives and giving us the Spirit so that we can live out life to its fullest. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest” (Exodus 34:21).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/2/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Open our ears Oh Lord so that we can hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church. We pray Father that we stop filling our minds with so many things that we drown out what your still small voice is saying to the Church. Yes, so many voices in the world with everyone loving to hear themselves talk. From entertainment to social media everyone is talking, but very few are listening. Teach us dear Lord how to listen. Really listen. Help us to empty our minds of all frivolous and self- absorbing thoughts. The worldly church has lost its way. They no longer seek the Spiritual realm but consider it an age-old practice of the mystics. They concern themselves more with technological advancements rather than the depth of spirituality. We pray that we will not follow the world in its empty quest nor the lukewarm church unwilling to enter into the depth of her spirituality. Help us to keep in step with the Spirit by opening our ears so we can hear what the Spirit says to the Church. We pray this in the most beloved Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches” (Revelation 3:22).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/1/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father, for giving us your Spirit, which is a true mark of being a Christian. Although we live in the flesh, we can only please thee by being in the Spirit. Thank you, Father, for giving us the Spirit when we completely surrendered to you as Lord. As the Supreme Ruler of our lives. The more we die in the flesh the more we experience You in the Spirit. Thank you for teaching us how to commune with thy Spirit as we remain quiet before thee in deep meditation. Indeed, this is the greatest joy we can ever experience to feel your Words in the Holy Scripture come to life. To understand the deeper meaning and how to apply it to our lives. No matter what happens, even if we are thrown into the deepest and darkest dungeon nothing can separate us from thy Spirit. Nothing can separate us from thy love. We pray that all thy beloved children would experience this great joy of being in the Spirit. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his” (Romans 8:8-9).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/30/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Forgive us Father for entering our prayer closet in a public place, but our desire is to be in the Spirit even as we wait. We landed on a Bible verse that tugged on our heart where all we could think is, ‘we love that verse’; “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.” Yes, Father we are your children always dependent on You in everything. No longer tossed about by every wind of doctrine. Easily brought to tears of love when we are in the Spirit thinking of all that You are doing for us. Thinking of your miraculous protection, which we have seen time and again. Thinking of your providential care, where we see all things working together for good. Amen. As your beloved children, we are obedient not because of duty, but for our great love for You. Thank you, Father, for putting such a great desire in our hearts to always follow You and not the ways of an evil world. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children” (Ephesians 5:1).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/29/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Help us, Oh Lord to see our Kingdom priorities and schedule our days a right. So many things in our day vies for our time. Help us to take an accounting of everything we spend our time. We have learned that time is such a precious commodity. Teach all your beloved children to cherish every moment. To experience the perfect moment in time where time appears to stop while we are in the Spirit. At other times it almost seems like time is moving much faster. In these evil days we find ourselves leaving so many things unaccomplished. So, help us to accomplish our Kingdom priorities first before we enter into leisure time. Let us not be like the fools of our age who spent all their time in senseless entertainment. From viewing countless videos to the endless surfing on social media. Help us, Oh Lord to truly redeem the time. We pray this in the most Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15-16).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/28/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. When we get down and our aloneness becomes ever present then we must remember the call. The call that came so strong, tugging at our hearts beckoning us to follow. A call that opened our eyes to the possibility of a new life filled with love, protection and your providence. No longer left alone spinning our wheels and getting nowhere. Now we had a purpose. A mission, bigger than life itself. Yes, when we get down by seeking comfort from this world’s entertainment and social media help us to remember the call. A much higher calling that reignites our purpose; that looks beyond the physical to the spiritual. Therein do we find true comfort that expels the loneliness and re-establishes our mission. Therein do we rediscover our justification and our ultimate goal of glorification. Thank you Lord for helping us to remember our call. We gladly pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified” (Romans 8:30).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/27/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. One thing hopefully every Christian longs for is to be presented to the Father as “Holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight.” Although we as true believers long for this, we find it ever more difficult as we live in an increasingly cesspool of unrighteousness. We pray that we never become unsettled in our faith and our glorious hope that we have in the Gospel. Even as the world is rushing away from the faith in you alone to faith in their institutions of higher learning to give them the answers to life’s problems, let us always stand firm in our classic faith. A faith, that you alone have given us everything we need for life and godliness. Our hope is grounded in the Gospel that promises to make us into a new creation where the old life passes away. Only then can we be truly Holy. Please, Oh Lord instill this hope in every believer. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister” (Colossians 1:22-23).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/25/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. “Shut his eyes from seeing evil.” Oh Lord, as we come into your presence today our hearts are sorely grieved from what your children are looking at. Somehow, they have tricked their minds into believing that they must see the depth of evil in our society. No longer sufficient to hear about the evil in our world, but now with twenty-four-hour news and videos they want to see the evil up close. We have become a society of spectators relishing the evil even while they claim publicly that it’s appalling. However, they keep sharing the same images on social media for others to see claiming all the time that they are against the depravity. We pray that your beloved children would see the great harm that this does to their souls. Help them to see that gazing upon evil will have a profound effect on their mind and memory that could lead to temptation and the act of sin. Help them to shut their eyes from seeing all evil. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure” (Isaiah 33:15-16, read the entire context).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/23/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We come humbly before you LORD asking that you explain to us once again why it’s your will that we must be thankful in all things or in everything give thanks. We find it especially difficult to give thanks at the passing of a beloved pet or giving thanks for our spouse who suffers with a debilitating disease like Alzheimer’s. We as your follower’s desire above all things to follow your perfect will. So, we are forced to look deeper into the matter. We know that suffering can either destroy or make us stronger. If we choose the later praying that our suffering causes us to be strong allowing it to purge us of all unrighteous behavior, then logically we must be thankful. Doing so we have discovered countless times that we then receive your comfort and your presence. You have always helped us to look beyond our suffering to the joy that is set before us in the same way that Christ did. Praise God. We are thankful in all things. It is in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Amen

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (I Thessalonians 5:18).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/22/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As faith is coming under attack in this country and around the world, help us to stand firm in our faith. To stand firm in our core beliefs that must remain unshakable. In our hearts and actions, we pray Oh Lord, that we always consider you Holy and powerful. Let us always demonstrate to others our godly fear by being careful to never diminish your holiness. We pray that you remind all thy beloved children of the hope that they have. Our hope of a new life in-Christ, our spiritual growth from one degree of glory to another and our hope of receiving everything we need for life and godliness. Our hope of deliverance from the power of sin, the old life, and the wiles of the devil all made possible by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We pray that we are always alert to those who ask about our hope so that we can respond in gentleness keeping our self under control thus demonstrating meekness. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear” (I Peter 3:15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/21/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As the pressure begins to mount upon an unrepentant world we as your beloved children stand firm in our faith. As the world explains away all your plagues and woes as natural occurring phenomenon, we see thy strong hand beyond their sight. Truly the world is reaping what it has sown. Although your desire for humanity is always a bountiful life full of joy and contentment, the evil world desires death as they plunge themselves into all manner of wickedness. Thank you, Father, for telling us in thy Word that our suffering and weeping will be short in comparison to the blessed new life that you have given us now and for all eternity. Indeed, our weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. With the dawning of a new day and the beauty of another remarkable sunrise we once again have great joy in our hearts as we contemplate your magnificent love for us. Praise God. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning” (Psalms 30:5).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/20/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for teaching us that every sermon, every teaching, and every rebuke must bring conviction and repentance to us first before it ever reaches the hearing of our brothers. If not, we could run the chance of being a hypocrite. Remind us Father to always look at our own behavior before rebuking the behavior of others. Especially if it’s the very same trespass. We are sorely grieved to hear that one person is rebuking another and is caught in the same trespass. To do so clearly increases the severity of the trespass in the one making the rebuke. We hear in our minds, “he without sin, the same sin, cast the first rock.” Yet we have seen that so often in today’s world where we have seen self-righteous bigots in high places doing just that. Please bring conviction upon all thy beloved children to remove their own trespass first before attempting to rebuke others of the same trespass. We pray this in the most Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye” (Matthew 7:5).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/19/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. When we experience great loss and our hearts are sorely grieved we may feel completely numb, but in our hearts, we have not forgotten you. We know the God of all comfort will bring us through this time of grief. We know that our God will not abandon us to experience the pain alone, but will share our pain. Thank you, Father, that we do not need to impose a timetable on our grief. We believe that you will bring us through it as quickly as possible. Although we don’t really understand loss and why it must happen, we are confident that you will use it to make us much stronger and dependent upon you alone. So, when loss happens, and we are stricken with insurmountable grief, we will turn to you, our God of all comfort. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God” (II Corinthians 1:3-4).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/18/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. What a relief to come into your presence and allow you to drown out the many thoughts that have taken us captive. From social media to endless videos thy children have been taken captive. They have joined the entire world in its addiction to the cellphone as if it was a cherished part of their body. Help them, Oh Lord to break free. To enter into a time of silence and solitude before thee. Help them not to fear the silence and the time alone with thee. A time to reflect only upon thy Word with no distractions. A time to meditate upon thy Word alone. Therein is true peace where time seems to stop. And the joy of your presence takes hold. Praise God. We also, pray that they will once again experience the joy of interpersonal relationships where they can actually make eye contact and communicate with one another without the cellphone. We offer this prayer for all thy beloved children in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night” (Psalms 1:1-2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/16/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are mindful of leaving a legacy for our children. We desire to impart to them along with the rest of your beloved children a legacy of all that you taught us. That they may truly see the height and the depth of our walk with you. That they will see how you, Oh Lord, have made such a difference in our lives. That they may see and remember our spiritual growth and how you grew us from one degree of glory to another. We pray that you will help each of us to use our own unique spiritual gifts to pass on them a legacy of our writings, our auto recordings or videos that will help bring to their memory all the wonderful treasures of your anointed Word. Lead us, Oh Lord to pass on to the next generation things that will help them to stand firm in the truth and not to be so easily swayed by the coming deception that’s already here in part. We pray this in the most honored Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance” (2 Peter 1:15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/15/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We apologize to You, Oh Lord for the foolishness of mankind. Not only in this country, but around the world. Step by step the world is rejecting any notion that there’s really a God. As they cast your Laws and precepts out of their schools, the halls of justice, and their universities they have become even more corrupt and wicked. As the entertainment industry and many of their great scientists claim there is no God we have become a nation of fools that no longer fear you. We pray Father God that you send forth your judgment upon the unrighteous while shielding your beloved children. We pray that you give all your beloved children courage to speak the truth to their neighbor that this world is reaping what it has sown. That before it’s all over they will fear the only true God of all that exists. We pray this in the most powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good” (Psalms 53:1).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/14/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. What a tremendous joy it is to meditate on one my favorite and often quoted verses in the Bible. As an anchor to our souls it opens the door to heaven with all its glories. As beholding in a mirror, we see the glory of our gospel that ushers us into the presence of our risen Lord in all His glory and majesty. Once we as newborn babes in Christ behold Your glory through study, meditation and prayer we are changed. Hallelujah in time, Oh Lord we begin to reflect your glory. Amen. Not the passing glory of a dying religion that’s taken on all the unrighteousness of a perverse world, but your magnificent glory that remains untarnished. Thank you, LORD, that we as your beloved children can now reflect your glory as we grow from one degree of glory to another. A glory that shines brightly from our faces, our attitudes, our conversation, and in our body language. Praise God. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (II Corinthians 3:17-18).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/13/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord that our prayers are personal and don’t always have to be shared. When we enter our prayer closet it is a very personal thing between us and You the One who holds everything together. The One who knows everything about us and sees everything. So, we humble ourselves before you, believing you, trusting you to always know what’s best. Therefore, we don’t hold anything back. We don’t attempt to hide anything. We lay everything before you. Our fears. Our not knowing. Our indecision’s. Our hurts and yes even our disappointments and regrets. We bring all before you with our prayer closet door shut firmly behind us. Where it’s just the two of us. Thank you, Father, for allowing us to pray to you, which always brings us so much peace and comfort. We love you more each day and find it difficult to conclude our prayers and quiet time of meditation. As always, we offer this prayer in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly” (Matthew 6:6).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/12/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are mindful on how difficult it has become to remain pure in an increasingly wicked and perverse world. Everywhere we look there it is, in our face, up close, and cast into our minds. On the street, in the news media, and on social media we see the deep things of Satan openly displayed for all to see. We cry out to you, Oh Lord, help us to guard our eyes and to immediately cast out the horrific images. Help us to guard our minds and not even dwell one second on the awful details of the sexual perversions of this wicked generation coming to light for all to see through both news and social media. It’s like the devil has opened Pandora’s Box showing us the deep things of Satan leading the entire world to lose its sensitivity to the gross immorality and to accept its perversions. Oh Lord, please keep us Holy in a very unholy world that is growing daily to become more like the infamous Sodom and Gomorrah. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. But that which ye have already hold fast till I come” (Revelation 2:24-25).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/11/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for giving us the ability to weather the storms of life. Not by our own wisdom and strength, but through following and applying all your magnificent teachings to our lives. We simply cannot stand firm on our own wisdom. Many have tried and have experienced great tragedies in their lives. Although many who claim to know you have mocked your teachings, especially the Sermon on the Mount, telling us that they are for some future dispensation, a few of your faithful children have listened and are standing firm. We pray Father that you will continue to teach them that all your teachings must be applied now. Only then can they truly weather the mighty storms of life and those thrown at them by the devil. Only then can they stand strong on the Rock of their salvation. Thank you, Father God, for reminding of this once again. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock” (Matthew 7:24-25).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/10/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh, what a different day in which we live. It’s so easy for false prophets to spew their teachings, saying they got it directly from You. Yet, rarely can we see their real behavior on social media as they hide behind their cloak of deception. Outwardly they have worn their sheep’s clothing well by speaking all the right words making it difficult to see their true motives. We pray that you give us great discernment in these days, especially on social media, to rebuke and withdraw from those who would cause others to stumble. You know, LORD how spiritual pride has run amuck in our day where many are proclaiming to hear directly from You, yet their hearts are far from humility while vulgarity is still on their lips. It’s especially distressing when they project that vulgarity onto your lips making you to appear less than holy. We pray that you will bring down the prideful by exposing them for all your beloved children to see. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves” (Matthew 7:15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/9/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for giving us hope from thy Holy Scripture. We have all at one time or another felt as if we have passed through the fires of affliction. We have suffered greatly for our faith, some much more than others. Thank you, LORD, that we are all only passing through it. That it’s not permanent. Although the fires affliction makes us stronger in the faith, it is the precious blood of the LAMB that has truly cleansed us from all unrighteousness making us, our robes, whiter than snow. As the medal passes through the fire to remove the dross, we too must pass through the fires of affliction to remove the barnacles of the old sin nature. Making us stronger in our faith and more dependent upon God alone. Thank you LORD that one day all your beloved children who have been made righteous by your shed blood on the CROSS will stand before you in Heaven as a holy people. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” (Revelation 7:14).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/8/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We are overjoyed by your great love for us. As the true children of God, You, have loved us with an everlasting love. No matter what happens in this world that love will never change. No matter how much we may suffer in this life that love floods our souls with your loving presence. Thank you Lord for protecting us from your wrath already being poured out upon all ungodliness. Thank you Lord for placing upon all thy beloved children the seal of the living God to protect us from all that would destroy us. A seal that shows ownership. A seal of the Holy Spirit imparting to us all the gifts and privileges of your children. A seal that is opposite from the mark placed upon the children of ungodliness. Although the mark and the seal may be invisible to the naked eye, they are clearly visible to You. Thank you Lord for casting your love upon us making us a child of the King. We pray this in the most powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads” (Revelation 7:3).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/7/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Remind us, Oh Lord to always meditate upon thy Holy Word. We pray Father God that all thy beloved children will learn how to meditate long upon thy Word. Bringing it before thee in prayer allowing you through the indwelling Spirit to open up its deeper meaning. Open their eyes so they can see how it applies to their life once they have understood what it meant to the original hearers of the Word. Help them to see its meaning in the fuller context and not in isolation. Reading is good for children, but meditation is better as we slowly work our way through your entire Word. Step by step you have graciously opened your Word to a deeper meaning beyond what lies on the surface for those who just read and depend on others to give them the deeper meaning. What a joy it is to meditate long upon thy beautiful Word day and night. Thank you Lord for giving us your Word to guide our path. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1:8).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/6/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, what motivates a person to enter a house of Christian worship to kill men, women, and children? We are a nation in shock from the many mass killings. Open our eyes to the truth. From the schoolhouse to the church house senseless killings have taken place. From the theater to outdoor music events we still don’t understand the motivation. If it’s truly the evil one capturing souls to do such horrific acts, then show your people how to stand against it. How to stop it before it begins. We pray Father that you will motivate all your children to come against this evil not by legislation, but by reaching out in love to help all people to escape their individual captivity to the forces of evil. To reach out to their neighbors with the gift of life. A new life in Christ. I implore the church to come out of its comfort zone and start engaging the enemy by rescuing the many souls in captivity to the evil one. We pray this in Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (I John 5:4).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/5/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We come humbly before you this morning as we enter our prayer closet. We thank you Lord for being with us leading us in every decision both small and great. We pray that you continue to give us ears to hear what the indwelling Spirit says. We pray, Oh Lord that you will continue to increase our faith to follow through on every decision made. Above all remind us to always ask, “Does this decision bring glory to God?” Will our decision hurt the cause of Christ? Will it dishonor your glorious Name? Will this decision violate the commands of God? Thank you Lord for teaching us that everything we do must bring glory to your Name. Allowing others to see our transformation from glory to glory. To see the light of Christ brightly shining in our face. To experience your agape love flowing through us to others. To see the glory of God. Amen. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God” (I Corinthians 10:31).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/4/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We praise thy Holy Name. Teach us, Oh Lord how to stay holy in an unholy world. We know the temptation by many to speak unbelievable things to show the ungodliness in the world. Often times taking on the same rhetoric as the world. We know the temptation by many to show and display graphic images of every manner of perversion to show the ungodliness in the world. Yet, all it does is pollute the listeners and seers allowing the perversion to sink deep down into their souls. It makes many bitter and callous wanting to use the weapons of this world to purge the wickedness. We pray Father that we stand against immorality without plummeting the depths of their perversions. We pray that we always fight back not with the weapons of this world, but with Spiritual weapons being careful not to be immersed into their immorality or share that immorality with others. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy” (I Peter 1:15-16).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/3/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Without you we are nothing. We pray that no matter how long we serve you. No matter how much religious knowledge we gain. No matter how many wonderful miracles we witness. No matter how many divine appointments we realize. No matter how many we bring to you through our gospel preaching. We pray, Oh Lord, that we will always remain humble in your sight. We pray that you will firmly rebuke us if we demonstrate any spiritual pride. Help us to never flag in zeal or think of ourselves better than others. Remind us that we don’t always need to be first, but allow others to take that position. Remind us, Oh Lord that we don’t need to compete with others, nor do we always need to be right unless we are defending the truth. Even then let us learn how to do it in true humility. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up” (James 4:10).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/02/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. What an honor to serve you in the world looking for every opportunity to make a difference. To share your Word, to counsel and help those in need. As the world gropes around in darkness looking for solutions for their many problems you have given us everything we need. As the world struggles with an untold number of emotional and psychological problems you have given us the solutions for every problem. We just want to thank you Lord. We pray that more of your teachers and pastors will have their eyes opened to this eternal truth that your Word, our Bible is truly sufficient for all of life and godliness. We pray that they will cast off the restraints of the world’s psycho-babel and embrace all the magnificent truths in your Word. We pray that all thy beloved children will recognize the reality of participating in the divine nature. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (II Peter 1:3-4).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/31/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. How glorious are all your Ways. Thank you Lord for teaching us the Way, for giving us something so much higher than ourselves. Help us, Oh Lord to set the right priorities in our lives as we follow you step by step. We pray that we would not allow others or circumstances to unduly influence us, but to keep our eyes focused on you the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Help us to run the race that each of us are called to run. Moving out of our comfort zone, doing things at the time, which seem impossible, but always trusting you for the outcome. Even when things appear to be overbearing and beyond our ability, we pray that you give us that holy nudge to get back in the race. Help us, Oh Lord to see our race, and not someone else’s, but only the one that you have set before us. Then help us to run with endurance with great joy in our hearts. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:1-2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/30/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Forgive us Lord for being upset with the downfall of our beautiful country. You have opened our eyes to how the entertainment industry, public schools, universities, and the news media have captured the minds of so many in our day dragging them down to the pit of immorality and perversion. Teaching them that’s it’s permissible to dishonor our President with vulgarity, a host of demeaning words, and false accusations. Teaching them that it’s permissible to dishonor all men by casting insults, claiming their rights to flag in zeal and openly display their perversion. Teaching them that it’s permissible to loath the brotherhood, to mock God by questioning His existence and His rule over His creation. We pray Father God that all your beloved children would not fall into this trap of the devil and follow your admonition to honor all men and especially our leaders in government. We pray that all of us would truly love the entire brotherhood no matter the denomination. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king” (I Peter 2:17).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/29/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you LORD for the great honor to become a child of God to be endowed with thy great glory. To become one with thee in thought and action. To catch a glimpse of the glories of Heaven as we all enter the new life and become one in Christ. We pray, Oh Lord that all thy beloved children will continue to grow from one degree of glory to another by putting off the old life and putting on the new. We pray that we would all work for unity in the Christian brotherhood by truly dying to our own selfish desires and living for others. We pray that we would all learn to love one another by going the extra mile, turning the other cheek, and forgiving others as we have been forgiven. We pray that we all would allow the Holy Spirit to define our theology instead of allowing self-righteous men to divide and destroy our unity in Christ. We pray that our unity in Christ will show forth your glory to a dying world. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one” (John 17:22; Read v.23).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/28/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. They say wisdom is the application of knowledge. You have taught us so much over the years, many things we have treasured in our hearts, and have attempted to apply that knowledge to our lives. We pray Father God that you teach us to truly number our days knowing that they are only one tenth of our ancient forefathers. Help us to use every day applying your knowledge to our lives and not to be so encumbered with the useless knowledge of this world. Bannering back and forth like a bunch of clucking hens. Demonstrating a worldly knowledge that only brings confusion, arguments, and a stressful unproductive life. Whereas your knowledge applied daily brings the joy of productivity in building your kingdom and fulfilling the true desires of our hearts. We pray that we would number every day knowing it could be our last opportunity on earth to bring glory to your Name. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom” (Psalms 90:12).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/27/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father God, for teaching us that there is nothing new under the sun. For man has always since the beginning, since his fall in the garden, been cast down in spirit by the many calamities in the world and the ever present evil in men’s hearts. His soul has been cast down into the depths of depression and his whole outlook on life has been darkened caused by one tragic circumstance after another giving him little hope. Thank you, Lord God, that you alone have the remedy to man’s soul bringing forth true healing to his heart, breathing fresh life into him, healing his countenance and reestablishing his hope in Thee alone. We find such great joy in praising thee for our deliverance. We pray, Oh Lord for all your beloved children that have been captured by the so-called professionals of this age promising them a false hope through their vein counseling and psychiatric drugs, that you would open their eyes to the truth. We pray this in the Name above all names Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God” (Psalms 42:11).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/26/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet there are times that our pain seems worse than imaginable and temptation may arise to withdraw early. Or we go forth to do our daily work for the Lord and again temptation may arise saying take your leisure today, because your pain is more than you can bear. But what does God’s Word say? My help comes from the Lord. Let us pray that the Lord help us to resist the temptation and complete the task before us. For indeed we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. To do all things according to His will. Amen. And His will is to depend on Him alone to do our work. We pray dear Lord that you impress on all your beloved children that depending on drugs is not depending on you alone. We are convinced through the indwelling Spirit that you are truly with us strengthening us every step of the way as we perform your blessed will as long as we depend on you alone. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/25/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you LORD for all the wonderful mature Christians in our lives that have truly modeled the new life in Christ. To observe their calm behavior and gentle spirit when things went wrong demonstrated more than all the previous teaching. To observe their true love for everyone including the unlovable was remarkable. To observe their true humility toward others and You, Oh Lord, was truly enlightening. Indeed, the new life in Christ is more caught than taught. We pray, Oh Lord, that all your beloved children will recognize their responsibility to teach others through their actions and not just through their words. Help them all to be examples of the new life in Christ as you grow each of them from one degree of glory to another. Help us to be cogitative of this every time we leave the house and come into contact with others. Our actions can truly disqualify everything we have previously said about the new life in Christ. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you” (Philippians 4:9).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/24/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer. Help all your beloved children to remember this and repeat it as often as necessary to discover the secret of overcoming anxiety and entering into a state of perfect peace that defies understanding. We pray that no matter how busy they think they are or how many things they want to get accomplished that they will always take time to pray. Take time to enter their prayer closet and shut the door on all their worldly concerns. To take time to offer up thanksgiving and praise for all that you have done and planned to do for us. We pray that they stay long enough to experience your presence that always brings tears of great joy. Praise God. Once anxiety is overcome and peace is present then we can begin to see clearly the agenda you have planned for us. An agenda free of stress and unencumbered from past worries. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” (Philippians 4:6).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/23/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we press on to our upward calling in Christ Jesus our Lord we try desperately to remain holy in all that we do and say. We desire to be perfect as our Heavenly Father is perfect. We pray, therefore, that you give us great discernment to recognize those things that would cause us to stumble into sin. To have the spiritual will power to say no to the sin. The courage to rebuke those attempting to lead us into sin and the faith to resist Satan who loves to tempt us. We pray, Oh Lord that your beloved children will recognize the great advantage of putting on the new life in Christ while putting off the old. Thank you, LORD, for coming to earth to demonstrate this new life that taught us the true power of love to overcome evil. We pray Father God that we will allow this love that comes from you to flow through us to others becoming perfect in all that we do. We pray this in the beloved Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy” (I Peter 1:15-16). “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/22/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for the words of life. As we enter our prayer closet today we are mindful of all the things you have taught us over the years. Although we cannot remember the specifics we are not bothered, because we have learned that looking back is not a good thing. Reminiscing about the years gone by or burdened by past hurts and struggles is not helpful to our spiritual growth. Thank you, Father, for teaching us that we need to always look forward. To look toward to all that you have planned to bring us through while securely holding onto us. Not allowing us to be tested beyond what we can handle. Praise God. We pray, Oh Lord that all that you bring us through will bring glory to our Father in Heaven. We pray that you will help us to continue to press on to our upward calling, giving us ears to hear your every direction. To keep us on the straight and narrow path to win the prize and not miss the mark. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:13-14).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/21/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. What a different world it would be if all people just spoke the simple truth and others would accept it as being the truth. How heartbreaking it has become to see the world rejecting what a man says requiring a great number of others to come forward giving their oath to say their perceived truth or their take on the matter. The deeper they go seeking the truth from their many oath takers and informers comes even more evil. One fabrication after another, one lie stacked upon another until man’s words are no longer valid. Even great men of integrity are overcome by not accepting their account, but immediately looking to disprove it. We pray that all men, especially among the brotherhood, would only speak the simple truth without the need of adding oaths or oath takers to prove what they say. We pray that all thy beloved children would be quick to accept what a brother says without requiring oaths, but relying only on the testimony of others and discernment from the indwelling Spirit. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil” (Matthew 5:37).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/20/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray thanking you Lord for your continued guidance through the Holy Spirit, if we only took time to listen. Thank you Lord that sometimes it comes more slowly through hours of prayer and meditation while at other times it comes as a burst of inspiration. Thank you, LORD, for my own experience of listening one day long ago as it came very quickly and I decided to pick up a complete stranger bringing him home for dinner and lodging at our home. We are not sure if he was an angel, but we have written how this Godly man told us things we have treasured in our hearts to this day. Oh Lord, we pray for all your beloved children that they would listen to the still small voice or nudging of the indwelling Spirit so that they don’t ever miss an opportunity to entertain an angel unawares. We are convinced if the direction from the Holy Spirit is true then we have no fear of danger. Praise God. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares” (Hebrews 13:12).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/19/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We know Lord that there are some things that simply cannot be rushed. We pray that all thy beloved children will not rush their time of prayer and meditation, but take all the time necessary. Allowing you to bring to our memory those who need our prayers. Help us all to labor in our prayers going where You lead. Help your children to move beyond their selfish prayers to labor for those who are in bonds or afflicted for their faith. To enter our prayer closet and fully into thy Spirit to such a degree that we begin to feel what they feel. That we experience true sympathy as we realize that we are indeed in the same body. As we continue in our prayers asking that you bring them comfort, healing, release and above all that they can feel your presence along with their brothers and sisters from around the world who are praying for them. Who are experiencing with them their same affliction in the body. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body” (Hebrews 13:3).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/18/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for the conviction of the indwelling Holy Spirit who always shows us the good thing to do. Bringing it to our mind, tugging on our heart and giving us an inspiration that it’s the right thing to do. Never out of selfish gain, but in the giving of ourselves to others. We pray Father God once you have given us the good thing to do and have motivated us through the Spirit that you provide the physical strength, the time, the ability and financial resources needed to complete the task for which you have called us. Let us never refuse to do the good things that you have called us to do. For we know through thy Holy Word to do so is the sin of omission. So, if we know the good thing to do, help us to step out on faith believing that you will provide everything we need to complete the task for which you have called us. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin” (James 4:17).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/17/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. What an amazing thing happens when we cast our affection on the things above. We catch a glimpse of what the new life in Christ should be by observing our heavenly state. Praise God. No more struggling against the flesh. No more resisting the fiery darts of the evil one. As we focus on those things which are above somehow we are set free from our earthly struggles. No longer compressed about by time schedules and earthly concerns, but somehow set free to keep in step with the Spirit. Praise God. Giving us time to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. To enjoy our relationship with the risen Lord. To have such a desire to walk in this new life in Christ. To never become a stumbling block for others, but truly modeling our new life in Christ allowing it to make a difference in their lives. So, we pray, Oh Lord that you help us to stay focused on those things above where you are enthroned. We pray this in the Beloved Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth” Colossians 3:1-2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/16/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray that all your beloved children would understand that they are an open book to others concerning Christianity. Help them to see that what they say face to face, in letters, or on social media will have an impact upon their listeners. Either for good or for bad. We pray that our words are always gracious being careful not to be rude, obnoxious, or prideful. We pray, Oh Lord that they demonstrate kindness, gentleness and respect. Help us to season our speech with salt by keeping it holy and righteous knowing that it has power to build up or destroy. That it has power to bring life or bring death. Remind us to always think before we speak. We pray Father God that you always give your children knowledge concerning the deeper things of our faith so that they know how to answer every person. That we have courage to speak when led by the Spirit. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man” (Colossians 4:6). (Read also 4:2-5)

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/15/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for showing us that our ministry is effective to the Glory of God the Father. Often, we struggle day and night to produce the work you have given us. Laboring intensely on producing a work worthy of Thee. As others appear to run ahead of us while others lag behind we are confident that we are producing at the rate you have given us. We have not been called to compete, but to follow. Thank you, LORD, that our effectiveness is not seen in our productivity, but seen in the changed lives of others. The ones we have truly helped to put off the old life and put on the new. To move away from the lies of this age with its psycho-babel and move on to embrace the truth that has changed their lives. This truly has been written on our hearts for all to see. We need no letters of recommendation. All glory to God. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men” (II Corinthians 3:2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/14/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray LORD that everything we do, everything we say, and everything we write becomes a firm foundation for others to build on. Let it strengthen what remains as the wicked is destroyed by the outpouring of thy divine wrath. As your great Apostles laid the foundation by proclaiming thy divine truth and writing it down through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, lead us to build on that same foundation by also proclaiming the truth for our generation to be passed on to the next. As we all look forward to thy coming in the clouds let us not sit idly on the mountain top awaiting thy arrival like the lukewarm church, but lead us to roll up our sleeves and fight the good fight making this our home for future generations. Let us spend more time spreading the truth and less time following the signs. Let everything be done to glorify your name before all men. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation” (Proverbs 10:25).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/13/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Friday the 13th, what does it mean to the Christian community? Not much, but to an evil world led by Satan, the god of this world, it could mean a lot. An opportunity to use this date as terrorist previously used 911 to reign down death destruction to an unsuspecting world. We know not what evil has planned, but we know that you are still ultimately in control giving it boundaries. We pray that all thy beloved children take comfort in this fact. Not being alarmed by the day or the malicious threats of evil to destroy your beautiful creation by bringing death and destruction to millions. Let us pass this day as any other placing our faith in you alone. Trusting you to deliver us from any calamity that would strike our world. We pray that you would strengthen your faithful remnant, wake up the lukewarm church and open the eyes of the blind. We pray this in the most powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it” (Jeremiah 5:22).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/12/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Changed from one degree of glory to another indeed is our greatest desire. To become more like you in our thinking, in our actions, and in our desires. Thank you, Father, as we draw close to you we can catch a glimpse of your glory through the Spirit. When we behold your glory, it gives us the greatest desire to be just like you. To behold your glory more and more. To become all that we are destined to become. What utter joy to know and believe that we are being changed as we grow spiritually from one degree of glory to another. Never the same, always changing until we arrive at the state of divine perfection in glory. Praise God. We pray that we will always rebuke the devil’s saying, “if we are so Heavenly minded, then we are no earthly good.” For we believe that the more Heavenly minded we become, the more earthly good we will be. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (II Corinthians 3:18).

Good morning Heavenly Father. Help us LORD, for we live in a land of lawbreakers. In a land that does not honor their rulers. We have never seen this to such a degree were many, especially among the news media, exploit every minor flaw and cast such horrible insults to the one in authority. They no longer care about your higher law. We have become a nation of lawlessness no longer seasoned by the church who has grown lukewarm. We pray, Oh Lord, that at least your faithful remnant would allow the bright light of your gospel to shine into their lives. Where they become brand new creations letting the world see the changes you have so miraculously made in their lives. Let us honor those in authority letting the world know it’s because we follow a higher law that leads us to so. Lead all your children to be obedient to all their laws if they don’t conflict with yours. As your wrath is poured out on a lawless nation let us remain under your providential care knowing that we do not rest under your wrath. We pray this in the most Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well” (I Peter 2:13-14).

Good morning Heavenly Father. No matter how bad it gets with hurricanes, flooding, earthquakes, and monstrous fires we will always praise you publicly. No matter how far our churches slip into lukewarmness we will always believe that you have a faithful remnant who courageously proclaim the truth. No matter how evil and perverse the world becomes we will stand for truth and righteousness. In all this we pray for strength to stand firm against the evil one and our old nature that always wants to raise its ugly head against us. Give us power, Oh Lord to overcome our enemies of the flesh. Give us power to stand against the devil and all his minions seeking to destroy thy precious children. Let us not simply ignore him hoping that he will go away, but lead all thy beloved children to firmly rebuke him in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ. As the spiritual war becomes even more furious as we approach the end lead thy children to always keep their armor on ready for battle. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11).

Good morning Heavenly Father. There is no greater joy than having fellowship with our risen LORD. Yet how sad it is in our day when so many who call upon the Name of the Lord, but don’t have fellowship with You. Yes, Lord they are following their blind guides and doing all the right things, but don’t have fellowship. They read their Bibles, attend Bible studies, pray often, and even tell others about You, but have no fellowship. Oh, Lord what can we say to thy wayward children to bring them back to you? What can we say? You are knocking on the door of their hearts ever so gently, but they cannot hear it. Oh Lord, what can we say? We pray Father that all your children would stop scrolling, reading, watching, listening, playing games, posting, tagging and liking long enough so that they can hear the quiet knocking on the door of their hearts. So that they will invite you in to have fellowship with You alone without any distractions. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:20).

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for shining your bright light of truth into our hearts this morning. As the Alpha and Omega, you were there in the beginning. You were there during the first church age and at the beginning of the Tribulation against thy holy people and you will be here during the last church age of the Laodiceans and the Great Tribulation. Thank you Lord for being with your people in every age as they died and suffered great tribulations for the truth. Blessed be the Lord. In our heart your saints believe we are now in the last church age of lukewarm Christianity. We pray, Oh Lord, that we will not be a part of the lukewarm church, neither hot nor cold, but that we become firebrands of great strength standing for truth and righteousness in these last days. That we are truly saints living every moment of every day for you and with you in the Spirit. We pray this in the Name above all names, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty” (Revelation 1:8).

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for the encouragers. Without them life would be most difficult. Especially in a day when everything tends to tear your beloved people down. From evil words spoken in anger to bullying from our peers. From a world that has given them a label by the professionals telling them that they can never do better to the devil’s wiles casting many into a life of bondage. We all need encouragement. We pray that we would all learn how to encourage and build up one another in their most holy faith. Pointing out the good. Emphasizing the positive nature that Christ has already instilled in them and helping them see their unique Spiritual Gifts. Help us, Oh Lord, to never tear down others for whom you died, for every believer is precious in your sight having a special calling and an important place in the Body of Christ – the Church. Help us to see their special calling so that we can impart it to them for their benefit. We pray this in the most Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do” (I Thessalonians 5:11).

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are mindful that we all are a work in progress. That none of us have arrived yet at that lofty goal of perfection. As we immerse ourselves into thy beautiful Word with the indwelling Spirit driving it ever deeper into our hearts can we see how much further we must go to obtain perfection. We have discovered, Oh Lord, that there is nothing stronger, yet more fragile than our will. At the same time wanting our own way and getting our will hurt if we don’t. Teach us, Oh Lord to be truly submissive to one another. Not demanding our will to be done but following your courageous example of saying, “not my will, but thy will be done.” Even to the point of death on the Cross. We pray that we will catch a glimmer of that perfection as we submit our wills one to another allowing their individual Spiritual gifts to be magnified. Help us dear Lord to truly submit one to another in godly fear of you, in accordance with thy divine will. Give us eyes to always see thy will. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God” (Ephesians 5:21).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/5/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for always showing us where we can improve. When others don’t respond or move as quickly as we expect; or when they don’t perform to our expectations then it’s our opportunity to demonstrate forbearance. To bear with them in all lowliness, meekness and longsuffering. We pray, Oh Lord that you teach all your beloved children how to demonstrate these blessed characteristics when dealing with the shortcomings of others in our work environment, at home and while driving. Let others see the light of Christ in us and not the angry impatience of the world. Help us, Oh Lord to use the old euphemism, to bite our tongue and change our words to a softer and more gentler tone. Help us to always bear with others in love knowing that they too are a work in progress. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love” (Ephesians 4:2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/4/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. How easy it is to lose focus in today’s world. With the carnal invention by fallen mankind to counsel others in their many and varied afflictions of the soul it has removed the responsibility of caring for our fellow Christians. How sad to rob Christianity of its most sacred duty of counseling our fellow believers who have been overtaken by some trespass or placed into bondage by wrong thinking. We pray Father that you would open the eyes of all thy beloved children to our responsibility of bearing one another’s burdens by giving them godly counsel coupled with sympathy and love. We pray that we would no longer send your children to the world for a cure. On the other hand, help your children to believe that they can bring about a lasting cure through spiritual counsel thus truly bearing one another’s burdens, and so fulfilling the law of Christ. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/3/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for setting us free from the law hanging over our heads waiting to catch us in the slightest trespass. Thank you for writing your law on our hearts and gently bringing it to our mind through the indwelling Spirit. Never giving us more than what we are ready for in our pilgrimage of being grown from one degree of glory to another. Praise the Lord for our freedom not to be used for an occasion to the flesh, but by love to serve one another. Time not used for our worldly desires, but time used to serve others with the precious gifts that you have imparted to each of us. We pray that we will never serve grudgingly or with a downcast spirit, but with willingness and love in our hearts. Oh, what joy it is to truly serve others in love rather than our own selfish desires. We pray Father that you keep giving us opportunities to serve others in your Name bringing all glory to You. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another” (Galatians 5:13).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/2/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We enter our prayer closet today with great trepidation that we and thy Holy Scripture might be misunderstood. We can’t ignore the fact that your Word through the Apostles tell us to greet one another with a holy kiss. Not once but repeated five times. Even if we leave this in its culture context it must still have some significant meaning for all your beloved children living in the 21st Century. We pray that you open the eyes of all your children to the truth. The truth that all your children must truly accept and greet one another with a sincere love in their heart. Although the outward expression could vary from a holly kiss to a holy hug or a warm handshake, the point is we must truly demonstrate our love to all the followers of Christ, no matter the race, culture, intellectual ability, or religious affiliation. We pray Father that all your children would practice this to such a degree that it would become a true example of brotherly love to a divided world. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss” (I Corinthians 16:20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 10/1/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for the many years that you have always brought another brother or sister to us with a word of encouragement, a word to admonish or counsel right when we needed it the most. Thank you Lord for using us to do the same. What joy it is to help your beloved children to overcome an obstacle in their life. An obstacle caused by sin, allowing the devil control, or listening to the world’s counsel. A counsel that typically led them further into captivity of the old life and dependence on psychotropic drugs. What a joy it is to see people set free. Set free by the knowledge that you have instilled into your beloved children eager to serve. We pray Father that you will always lead us to admonish or counsel one another with all goodness in our hearts to truly help. To see them put off the old life and put on the new life in Christ. To see them make progress in the Christian life by growing spiritually from one degree of glory to another. We pray this in the Name of the Wonderful Counselor Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another” (Romans 15:14).
