Again, as already noted in my previous blog, this oil spill will eventually find its way into our great rivers and springs of water.  It has just been reported that oil has seeped into Lake Pontchartrain and suspected to be in the rain soaking most of the gulf coast and central Texas.  It is not a far reach to imagine that this oil can also get into the water table, thus polluting our drinking water and causing untold health risk.  The Bible says, “The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say: ‘You are just in these judgments, you who are and who were, the Holy One, because you have so judged; for they have shed the blood of your saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve” (Revelation 16:4-6). Now that I have your attention, what is the next bowl of God’s wrath being poured upon the earth?

“The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but refused to repent and glorify Him” (Revelation 16:8). The Eastern part of the United States has been experiencing a record setting heat wave these past few days, but I am afraid this is only the beginning. I am sure scientists and climatologists will attempt to explain this a way as they do Global Warming, but in a very short time they will be convinced that this is beyond explanation as scores of the population are rushed to emergency rooms or found dead. Recent medical studies have shown that humans can only survive a limited number of hours in intense heat before dehydration sets in and brain cells begin to die leading to death. Friends, this is only the first of July and what lies ahead will paralyze this nation (perhaps the world) and lead directly into the next bowl of God’s wrath.

“The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. Men gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but refused to repent of what they had done” (Revelation 16:10). It does not take much imagination to discern what happens next. As the heat index rises it will put an unbelievable strain on an already over extended electric grids which are in desperate need of upgrading. I recently completed a study on these aging electric grids and was shocked to realize that with the exception of Texas, there are only two electric grids in the United States, one for the Western part and one for the Eastern part of the United States. It would not take much strain from one portion of either of these two grids to cause a cascade affect putting most of the United States in total darkness. Imagine if you will, the horror if all computers immediately went off line, along with air conditioners, refrigerators, and needed hospital equipment with people left sitting in the dark. This in itself would be a disaster of a biblical proportion. If we added to this a spiritual darkness it would be devastating with unchecked immorality, complete anarchy, and mass hysteria.

Now what follows are the last two bowels of God’s wrath.   Let me suggest that you go to your Bible and read them for yourself and if you would like a fuller explanation then you can read my book, “Final Warning, because the hour of His Judgment has come.”  Either way, my friends, it is time to prepare for the Great Tribulation by coming to the truth, trusting in Jesus Christ alone, and remaining faithful to Him. I implore every Christian to pray that they are prepared to meet Christ at His magnificent return to punish the evil doer and visibly rapture in Church in glory.

As we enter one of the most aggressive hurricane seasons on record, I cannot even imagine what a hurricane would do with oil in the Gulf of Mexico. Dealing with oil on the beach is one thing, but what if we had to deal with it in our streets, in our businesses, in our homes? What if we had to rescue humans covered in oil? What if this is no longer isolated to just the Gulf Coast but found its way up the great rivers to our inner cities? Now imagine if you will, the dispersants mixed with oil which could possibly cause untold diseases and catastrophic health hazards of a biblical proportion.  It staggers the imagination, or is it prophetic?

What if we are dealing with the wrath of God? The Bible clearly indicates that during the Great Tribulation that his angels, “will pour out his bowl (God’s wrath) on the sea, and it turned into blood like that of a dead man, and every living thing in the sea died.” (Revelation 16:3) The shocking truth about this prophecy is that dead man’s blood is a brownish red color that is very similar to that of the oil spill. And we have all seen the devastation it has had on the wildlife. Our hearts have broken when we have seen birds and other wildlife struggle to free themselves from the encasement of oil.

God loves you.  He loves His world, but he will not allow greed which is idolatry to capture the souls of men. He will not stand by idle as lawlessness ravages the helpless and drugs rob a man of his character. He will not turn a blind eye to the hate that pits one man against another. He will not rest as man destroys the world and himself in the process. God will continue to pour His wrath down on a wicked world until everyone who is called repents of their sin and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. God will not rest until all that is destined to be saved are saved.

No matter how hard we try to reverse the effects of these plagues they will only get worse until Christ returns at the end of the age to rapture His Church and send the evil doer to hell and eternal punishment.  Christians must strengthen their faith and boldly witness to their neighbor while time is still left to do so. There will come a time when no man will receive your witness, but blame you for what is happening in the world.  Christians can no longer remain silent!

Furthermore, we have all gone for years having the experts tell us the truth, only to find out years later that they have changed their mind and it was not truth after all, but just another hypothetical truth or learned opinion. We have seen this in science, politics, psychology, and even medicine. Think about the number of times the experts have changed their mind on child rearing, global warming, traditional medical practices, the safety of prescription drugs or what is the best health care plan for America. Isn’t anyone speaking the truth? If we listen to God and not the world then we will come to know the truth – revelation truth.

We have had politicians say that they are speaking the truth to only discover that it was just a lie and of course this was after we voted for them thinking that they would really bring change to a besieged world. Most are caught in a web of deceit, being tossed in one direction and then another. More and more information is thrown at you daily and even on an hourly basis. It is coming at faster and faster speeds from many different channels. The world is on information overload and it does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Not only are people more confused, but they are always learning but unable to come to the truth. They are always seeking, but never finding. Only the bright light of God’s revealed truth will expose the lies and deception. God’s truth will show you the way. It will set you free!

God’s truth will guide you along the narrow way – a way that is so opposite from the world that only a few find it – a way that will bring you from death to life, but first you must stop listening to the world and start listening to God. Really listen, not just sort of listen. Doing so will set you free from the bondages of this world and open your eyes to a new reality. “Once I was blind, but now I see.” God’s truth allows you to see things from a new perspective. It gives you a new world view. You will see things differently. You will understand things differently. Then you will soon discover that Jesus Christ is the ultimate revelation of truth.

Friends, my desire is to look only briefly at the events unfolding in this world and then to look intently at God at work in His world, listening only to His voice. Many of our leaders foolishly think that they are controlling events in this world and don’t realize that they are either pawns of the devil or servants of the most High God. I have said it so many times in the past and will say it again– “nothing happens by accident, God is in control”. God will bring this world to a conclusion at the end of the Great Tribulation and at the glorious return of His Son Jesus Christ. I pray that you come to the Truth so that the scales will fall from your eyes so that you can really see what is happening in the world. You may be shocked!

Let’s be clear about one thing we are not talking about terrorists. We are not talking about an alien invasion. We are not talking about organized crime, but we are talking about people who gave us no warning that they would explode causing unbelievable carnage and untold suffering to their fellow citizens. From the best I can tell most of these people looked rather normal to their peers, family members and friends. Although one similar trait among them was that they appeared aloof, distant or a loner. What was going on to cause these people to explode? What kind of pressure were they under?

We all know that a boiler that has too much pressure will eventually explode. Let me suggest that this country has lost its way and are churning out citizens who expect everything to be handed to them on a silver platter with little or no work. They expect to be treated with honor and respect when they have never been taught how to give it. They look at all that the world has to offer and if they don’t get it then the pressure begins to build. Or if someone attempts to take away what they do have then the pressure continues to build to unsafe limits. Unfortunately most people in this country would be horrified to lose all of their material possessions, because they cannot separate their life from them.

Add to this the moral decline and the total disregard for the law and you have a recipe for disaster. As our leaders in high places are caught in every manner of sin and the talking heads continue to fan the flames of discontent, then many question their moral authority to pass laws or even their right to enforce them. Then if that were not enough the philosophy of tolerance has led many to reject the truth peddled by the establishment for their own set of values which in many cases are no values at all, but rank lawlessness.  Regrettably with this country’s drift away from Christianity and absolute truth, she has lost her moral anchor.  Set adrift in the sea of immorality she will continue her decline into lawlessness. So where will this all lead? Anarchy!

As the world comes crashing in from all around you it is time for every true Christian to take a deep look within and make sure you have not been captivated by the world of materialism. Can you give up everything for the cause of Christ knowing that He will not allow you to be tested beyond what you can handle?  Are you unsettled when you do not receive the honor and respect that you have become accustomed to or are you following the example of Christ who humbled himself to death even death on a Cross? Do you follow the world in their godless counseling and drugs to ease the pain or do you run to Christ who promises to be with us in the midst of our greatest suffering? Friends, it’s only going to get worse as we fast approach His Second Coming so please do not follow the world in these godless acts, but remember the words of our Lord Jesus Christ to love one another so that the world will know that we are His disciples.

Friends, this is really scary, because Ahmadinejad believes that he has the backing of Allah in whatever he does or plans to do on February 11^th 2010. And if he is able to carry it off then he will see it as the will of Allah that will only embolden him to carry out even more telling blows upon the West.  Moreover he has indicated that the United States is the Great Satan, which is one- step-removed from believing that her leader is the dreaded Anti-Christ spoken of in the Christian Bible.

“In the Book of Revelation it indicates that the sixth angel sounded his trumpet and the four angels who are bound at the great River Euphrates are released which in prophecy these particular angels signify a representative of an earthly kingdom or nation (See Revelation 9:12-19). The four nations from the area of the Euphrates River will arise and mount an army in the millions to kill indiscriminately men, women and children with ”fire, smoke, and sulfur” – sounds like explosives. Let’s count the nations. There is Iraq (which we believe is now under control) there is Afghanistan (which is like trying to make a deal with the devil) there is Pakistan (who is holding on by a thread and sitting on an nuclear arsenal) and then there is Iran wanting to pull it all together with one powerful (or telling) blow.  Is it to unite all the radical Muslims from around the world to follow President Almadinejad’s in a united front against the West?

Mahmoud Ahmadinehad should be taken seriously.  If he says “I will wipe Israel off the map” then he truly has the will to do it.  We can only hope and pray that he does not yet have the means!  Although this administration takes him more seriously than her citizens by the increasing military presence in that part of the world, she still greatly underestimates the Biblical prophecy that warns about these coming events in history.  As the author of the book “Final Warning” I encourage Christians from around the world to get on their knees and pray earnestly that we have more time for self-reflection, repentance, and witness to the saving gospel of Jesus Christ.

Not only does Barack Obama deny the exclusiveness of the Christian Bible, but he denies the exclusiveness of Christ as the only Son of God. Obama’s speech to the Muslim world made the other prophets equal to Christ. He does this by quoting from the Muslim story of Isra as if he were quoting the very truth of God. He said, “When Jerusalem is a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians and Muslims, and a place for all of the children of Abraham to mingle peacefully together as in the story of Isra, when Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed (peace be upon them) joined in prayer.” The story of Isra indicates that the archangel Gabriel comes to Mohammed and carries him to the temple mount of Jerusalem. It also indicates that the second part of the journey takes Mohammed to the heavens, where he tours the circles of heaven, and speaks with the earlier prophets such as Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, and then is taken by Gabriel to Allah.

For Barack Hussein Obama to unite every, “tribe, people, language, and nation” together as the new world order he must first of all do away with the exclusiveness of Christianity. Jesus Christ can no longer be seen as the last Prophet and true Son of God. Christ said that, “False Christ’s and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect – if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time.” (Mt.24:24) So this means if anyone who comes claiming to be equal or more than Jesus Christ is a false prophet and must be rejected on the grounds of Holy Scripture. Furthermore, Jesus Christ said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except trough me.” (John 14:6) We simply cannot allow Christ to be put on the same level as Mohammed or any other prophet. To do so will destroy the very foundations of Christianity and allow the Antichrist to rule the world.

And the truth is the good news of Jesus Christ.  It is good news that Jesus Christ rose from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father. Jesus Christ is the Messiah who had been prophesied thousands of years prior to His coming. One who would preach the good news to the poor, to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind. Although He was killed by lawless men by hanging Him on a cross, it was all in God’s plan to use His death and resurrection to bring salvation to the world. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) As Christ hung on the Cross of Calvary all the sins of the world past, present, and future were placed upon Him as He became the perfect sin offering for the entire world. Through faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and by believing in your heart that He was raised from the grave then you too can receive forgiveness of your sins and the promise of eternal life.

True faith is more than just believing the historical facts of who and what Jesus Christ did. No longer do you trust in the works of your own hands. No longer do you trust in the establishment or other world religions. No longer do you trust in your own knowledge or understanding. No longer do you trust in the counsel of the world. Through God’s grace you learn to trust in Him alone. In order to receive forgiveness you must repent. Agree with God that you are a sinner, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23); then repent of your sins by turning away from them.  The good news is Jesus Christ will give you the gift of the Holy Spirit, the Power on high to show you your sins and help you to turn away from them and live a godly life.

Then you must be baptized which is an outward act of an inward change that takes place in your life. As you are plunged into the water it signifies your dying with Christ – you choose to no longer live the old life but you put it off by dying to self; then as you are raised up out of the water it signifies that you have been raised with Christ and given a new life in Him. No longer do you live for self but you live for the Lord Jesus Christ. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (II Corinthians 5:17)

Dear friends, this is only the first step into the Kingdom of God, the step of faith. Although you will encounter many trials and tribulations they are meant for the strengthening of your faith and the outcome is more glorious than words can describe. As a new disciple of Christ you want to read His Word daily (the Christian Bible) allowing the Holy Spirit to lead, convict and encourage you. You want to immediately begin to tell others about Jesus Christ and the good news that He brought to a dying world. You want to spend time in prayer to God the Father and meditate on His Word. And finally you will want to join with other believers in Christ to experience the joy of true fellowship and mutual encouragement.

Friends when you come to Christ the blindfold will be removed from your eyes and for the first time you will see and understand spiritual truth – truth that will set you free.

In addition to the economic collapse it was also prophesied over two thousand years ago (and described in my book Final Warning) that the terrorists will arise and kill indiscriminately men, women, and children and then in its final stage will mount an army in the millions from the area of the great river Euphrates to march against the West and its league of nations. At the same time the Antichrist will arise from obscurity claiming that he alone can save the world of its pending doom. He will act “swiftly” to enact measures to save the economy. He will speak with great rhetoric promising people hope. He will speak of change making it his motto. This anointed one will make great promises to win the trust of the entire world. In my book Final Warning I discuss in detail how the Antichrist (also known as the Beast or the Man of Lawlessness) will push his new social agenda of leading the world to put their trust in his many social programs and his new world religion. All is a ruse to capture the hearts of man by leading him to trust in him and his administration instead of trusting in God exclusively. The new stimulus bill, clearly a Trojan horse, will give the government power to enforce his new health care (also mental health) programs and social agenda ultimately giving him control over the population.

I am afraid that this is all an illusion, because the Antichrist will not be able to save the day. He will promise peace by sitting down with those who are willing to unclench their fist or to defeat those who are unwilling to follow his global agenda. He will enlist other nations to complete his agenda of world domination, but it’s all an illusion because there will be no peace. He will promise an economic recovery and build a brave new world free from the dependence on foreign oil with his new green initiatives, but again it’s only an illusion. He will promise universal health care that includes the professional psychologist helping man to deal with the problems of his heart, but again it’s only an illusion. The Antichrist will not be able to bring peace and prosperity to the world. He will not be able to fix the problem of man’s heart. In fact, it is prophesied that if man does not repent then destruction will surely come upon this nation and the world.

Friends, the only one that can save us is Jesus Christ who has already paid the price for our sins. And the only thing man can do is repent today or perish. Mankind must repent of his massive prescription drug addiction, he must repent of trusting in psychology to fix the problems with his heart, he must repent of ignoring God’s law that is clearly against the killing of unborn children and homosexuality. Man must repent of his greed and idolatry of mixing other world religions and philosophies with the exclusiveness of Christianity, which will be attempted by the Antichrist with his new faith based initiatives. You need to get this powerful book today and take the first steps in transferring your trust back to Christ Jesus and away from the Antichrist and his administration. To do so will bring eternal security and the loving providential care of the One who created you and knows everything about you.

This hope will bring about real peace – a peace that defies understanding. This hope brings about true health care that reaches deep into the complete person to bring wholeness. This hope rejoices in the sovereignty of an all powerful God to protect you from enemies both seen and unseen. This hope brings about financial stability not too feed your vanity but to meet your material needs. This hope breaks the chains of the past and gives you a new personality and hope for the future. This hope brings you face to face with God because your sins have been cast off and you have been made into a new creation. The world will lead you to believe that we have the power within ourselves to bring this change to the world and hope for its people. But what does God say? He says: “trust in Me alone”!

Stop trusting in the works of your own hands. Stop falling for the power structures that are designed to destroy your faith. Learn to identify the power structures in your world that keep you from realizing your hope. Learn to say no to the world and yes to God. If you have not yet realized we live in a very godless world, then come to God now so that the spiritual blindfold can be removed from your eyes. Once your blindfold has been removed then you will see the world for what it really is; a most shocking thing for those who have been desensitized from the sin in the world. And in many respects the United States of America is leading the way by leading its people to trust in the power structures and not in God alone.

So what are the power structures that are keeping us from trusting in God alone? First and foremost is the idea that the professionals believe they have figured out what causes man to behave as he does. The world is leading you to trust in the power structure of the mental health establishment and social services agencies designed to keep you from trusting in God alone to heal you of every psychological trauma. Moreover, they are leading you to trust in their drugs to bring forth healing even when the side effects in many cases are worse than what’s being treated. Any student of the Bible knows that God has given us everything we need for life and godliness. Reject the lie that God is only concerned about the spiritual and the rest is up to man. God from the beginning has always dealt with the whole person – body, mind and soul. The salvation of man through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is for the whole man.

The next power structure that leads you away from trusting God exclusively is credit and more specifically the credit card establishment. This power structure is designed to lead you into indebtedness by tempting you with a credit limit well beyond what you can afford. But it’s not only by the purchases made but by the exorbitant finance charges incurred if you are late with your payment. Many well meaning people have been caught in this credit card trap and are suffering the consequences of indebtedness. I have heard people say that they keep their credit card and only use it in times of emergency. Let me ask you a question. Who are they putting their trust in when disaster strikes? Is it God who promises to never leave us or forsake us or is it their credit card? These power structures are designed by the devil himself to destroy our faith.

Another power structure discussed in my book, Final Warning, is the drug companies who are leading the entire world to trust in their miracle cures for just about every known ailment or imagined ailment. We have all seen sexual enhancement drugs to the healing of psychological woes of depression, anxiety, or bi-polar disease. People have become dependent on their drugs of choice so that when disasters strike one of the major concerns of rescue is getting people back on their drugs before they begin to experience withdrawal symptoms or worse. This is one more area where people have trusted in the drug establishment without trusting in God exclusively to provide the physical and mental healing that He so graciously promises to those who live a godly life in-Christ Jesus. Even doctors will admit that people who take care of their bodies through good eating habits and exercise have far less problems than those who don’t. They also admit that many physical problems are caused by mental and psychological anguish that have not been dealt with properly. We have briefly looked at three power structures designed to lead man away from trusting in God exclusively.

Fox news will give you their opinion about global warming; there is none and we are foolish to think otherwise. CNN will distant themselves from the current Bush administration and have you to stand against those who are waging war against the middle class. And while most of the population is confused about the economy and which candidate to believe in, no one is asking what does God say? I believe every red blooded American would agree that they just want things to be right. They are tired of fighting in foreign lands, afraid of a recession, desire that everyone living in this country pay their fair share, and hope that the housing market rebounds with fair and equitable interest rates. Moreover, they are concerned about extreme weather, terror from abroad, and the natural disasters that are relentlessly striking this country.

But again, no one is asking God! The ones who are asking are asking the news media and the false prophets of our day. To listen to a true prophet of God is taking a risk that most people, especially in this country, are unwilling to take. It is risky business because they may hear what they do not want to hear. It may very well change their whole perception on what is happening in this country. It may upset their belief system, their favorite philosophy, or even their own opinion.

God is not blind, deaf, or dumb. He is very much aware of what is happening in this country. He has all the answers needed to fix all the woes that are facing this land. He has all the resources, power, know-how, and experience to make everything right, but first we must listen to what God has to say through His prophet. And what He is saying is that every person living in this country, man, woman and child have a responsibility. Every person must confess to God that they have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Furthermore, they must turn from their multitude of sins and serve the One and only true God, the Father of Jesus Christ. They must believe the gospel where God promises to make them into a new person and give them the gift of the Holy Spirit.

If this nation continues on its present course the words of the old prophecy will be fulfilled in your life time. God says, “The king will mourn, the prince will be clothed with despair, and the hands of the people of the land will tremble. I will deal with them according to their conduct, and by their own standards I will judge them. Then they will know that I am the Lord.” (Ezekiel 7:27)
